Literally every single time I come to this location i'm waiting 45+ minutes. They're always rude, most of the time my order is wrong, I pay for extra sauces and don't get any, no one wants to help and if they do it's with a sigh and eye roll. I work in the food industry during 'COVID' times but if you are unable to be open you should not let people order and pay from your location when you know you are closed. This is a manager mistake and clearly poorly run and advised. I will be contacting headquarters when they open. It's crap someone can pay and drive to the location and wait 30 minutes before calling 4 times to know they are closed. It is crap and will NEVER go to this location again. It is run worse than a krystals or captain ds. I would expect this from Waffle House or Burger King. So good job! read more

Rolled through here recently while visiting family in the area. I rarely eat fast food, but it'd been ages since I'd had Whataburger, so decided it was time to get reacquainted with this old friend. Slow, slow service to begin with. At least when it comes to the drive-thru. My party and I sat waiting for about 10 minutes total, after placing our order. Not sure why it took so long since we were the only customers in line. Looks like Tracy B. also experienced the same issue during her visit. I had a chicken sandwich, which was quite delicious, and joined that with some onion rings. OMG those onion rings. Was totally craving them. I'm pretty picky about onion rings: I like them super crispy, no hint of sogginess. These did not disappoint, and I practically inhaled them. I'm not really sure what else I can say here. I obviously didn't go inside so can't speak to cleanliness, etc. All-in-all this was a satisfactory experience. Would definitely breeze through again if in the area and need a quick bit. read more

They are hardly ever open. Supposed to be 24 hours. I just left from there lights are on but no one around. When they are open they are so slow and behind it's ridiculous. Our waitstaff, Ariel and Eliesha were delightful. I don't think I have ever had such good service at a fast food place, not even by Chik Fil A. They made good recommendations to me as I have never been to a Whataburger before. They brought the food, brought us napkins, and treated us like we valued friends. The food was excellent. My god the party melt was so good and ariels recommendation of grilled jalepenos was spot on. Super clean and tidy. Will come back next time I am here. read more

This is my first visit but I can say I enjoyed it. I ordered the sweet and spicy bacon burger and let me say these burgers are huge! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because my burger was really greasy, but delicious! I really love the sweet and spicy combo. The fries were a bit salty but good. All in all, a good first visit. 06/06/2021 around 7:30am There were so many positive things about my experience this morning that I don't even know where to start. Obviously, I could talk about how great their breakfast was, but there were other things that got my attention even more. When you wake up early to go tackle your day and the first interaction with someone is with the server at the drive-thru, their mood and energy get reflected to you and impact the rest of your entire day. And if your busy like I was today (moving out of an apartment complex 4hrs away), this makes a HUGE difference. You probably know where I'm going with this... I have never met a server so genuinely positive and customer centered as I have this morning at Whataburger! We exchanged Good-mornings and relatable small talk before I asked about the honey butter chicken biscuit. He even went as far as to say some jokes to give me a good laugh! I felt so obligated to write this review because I have never experienced anything like this from a fast food restaurant, not to mention this early in the morning! I am very thankful to have had started my busy day off with laughter and positivity with this server. It made my move go by that much faster read more

I've gone to this Whataburger off and on since November. I've really only gotten good service once or twice. But there's not many options after midnight. Tonight i had no choice and it was a DISASTER. The sandwich had NO sauce. The fries were cold and stale. I placed the mobile order at 11:38 pm. I got my food after 12:05. I spent over 20 minutes in the drive through. Then i had to get sauces from the door. Not to mention the silly mask requirement. I just wasted 30+ minutes of my shift and $13 on useless food. Well it was food and it was fast but it wasn't up to my expectations of Whataburger food. Both sandwiches were cold only slightly above warm yet fully cooked. This restaurant is an absolute disgrace to all Whataburgers. I have been deprived of dipping some chicken tenders in that special spicy ketchup with a vanilla milkshake. I was on a trip and decided "hm why not go to the best pace ever?". With all the covid regulations i decided to call this WHATATRASH in advance to make sure they allowed dine in because, i was towing a trailer. I called this place 3 times! NO ANSWER. I am outraged. The food is great when it actually comes out in a timely matter, but as time goes on, the less I want to go there and its actually not cause of the food; it about an employee. At first he was sweet; it was great talking to him. Even hung out with him a couple of times outside of work, but the more I got to know him, the more uncomfortable it got. I don't know his car nor schedule; I would have avoided if I did. He stares at me when i come by, hangs out the window to talk instead of doing his job. Like the food and love the ice pellets. I stopped for lunch day. I noticed there were 8 people in line with no mask; 7 had no mask at all and 1 had it hanging on his ear. The manager on duty actually waited on several people with no mask and no one said anything to the people not wearing a mask. Why have signs on the door saying you have to wear a mask if you aren't going to enforce it? I left and went elsewhere for lunch where people are wearing their mask and distancing. read more

Whataburger in Alabaster was delicious. Went to both McDonald's and Steak and Shake at 3am on Sunday morning. McDonalds had a chair blocking the drive thru and Steak and Shake had a truck parked horizontally, with no one in it, blocking the drive thru although both claim to be open 24 hours. We were beginning to think we were the only ones awake in Alabaster. Then we pulled into Whataburger and it was well lit, the parking lot was full, there were customers around and actual humans working there that took our order. Clearly everyone in Alabaster knows that Whataburger is where it's at for late night dining. Now we do too! read more

I dig the place. Better service Whataburgers get 5 stars from me because I love just about everything they serve. This particular location can suffer from slow service and staff that is half asleep or suffering general malaise. That's a management issue so perhaps they have solved it or will in the near term. Patty Melt is really good but all the beef patty sandwiches and burgers are good. I like their fries as well and it's a small thing but I wish all burger joints would serve ketchup in containers like this place does. They also have spicy ketchup and it's a great compliment to many items in the menu. I'm not eating hamburgers much anymore but when I do and a Whataburger is near it's a likely choice. read more

I had the Monterey Melt burger and I must admit that it is quite possibly the best burger I've had in my life. It tastes so good you know it can't possibly be good for you.
