Well, this whataburger location has screwed up another of our orders! I guess we're slow learners. We ordered 3 sandwiches, 1 fry & a drink. The person at the drive thru tried to give us the wrong order first of all. Then when we got home with what we thought was our order, there was 1 correct sandwich, another sandwich we didn't order, 1 order of fries & a drink. So, two missing sandwiches & a mystery sandwich. This is all after a long tiring day. So, the manager of the Midkiff location really needs to either (1) hire competent people or (2) explain to the dolts that are currently employed there that their employment depends on having satisfied, repeat customers. We won't be going there anymore after the umpteenth screwed up order. Do better!! P.S. Y'all don't even deserve a star but this app requires at least one to post a review. read more

All the low reviews mostly are for slow service. I have been coming to this Whataburger for many years and yes they are a bit slow but the food is always good and fresh. The faster places usually have everything under a lamp for hours. Not here. Plus everyone is friendly and helpful. read more

This was probably the worst fast food burger I've ever had. Went there for the first time and it was a mix between burger king and McDonald's. The employee taking my order did not understand what I meant by "orange soda" and kept asking me until I said "FANTA," but the receipt said "orange soda". Also; it was the worst soda. It tasted like chlorine--maybe they didn't flush out the cleaning solution completely. First and only time I'll be going. read more

This location is terrible, lady standing out in the parking lot taking order's absolutely hates her job along with the cashiers. Food is ok but our order was inaccurate. After I ask for cheese they remake it and it's a greasy mess and guess what no jalapeños when it's remade either. First time at a Whataburger. Have been wanting to try one since moving to Texas. We got FREE Jr. Whataburger coupons from the Midland Library and decided we would try it out today. We arrived around noon and the place was hopping. There were TONS of teens there and a handful of adults. Not the restaurant's fault but the teens were quite disgusting. We watched as groups of kids would get up and just leave all their trash on the tables. So inconsiderate and irresponsible. I felt bad for the workers to have to clean up after them. The lady who helped us was fantastic! I started my order by saying how this was our first time there and was unfamiliar with how their burgers come, etc. She was SUPER sweet and explained everything to me, not rushing me or anything. My kiddos each got a Jr. Whataburger and I got a #2 Whataburger meal (a 2 patty burger) with everything on it (Lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle and mustard). I ordered it without the bun and appreciated it being served on a platter WITH a knife and fork. The burger was great! The kids and I shared the order of fries. They were tasty and kind of reminded me of McDonald's fries. I really enjoyed my first Whataburger. We'll be back again! read more

Terrible customer service we got there and no one even acknowledged us we waiting for someone to take our order and we were just standing there for about 5 minutes we were the only ones there to order finally someone said we'll be there and and almost 7 minutes lates they took our order, when I received my order my burger was dry even though I requested everything on it and to top it off my burger was cold I was going to returned it have them make new a new one but I didn't. To start off i was missing 2 items those items were an order of french fries and a double meat Whataburger. Not to mention that 2 other items in my order out of 7 total items were completely wrong. I had ordered a Jr. Whataburger with no cheese and they still gave me cheese on it when my daughter is severely allergic to cheese. The other item that was incorrect was a grilled chicken sandwich i asked for extra lettuce and to add mayonnaise instead i got ketchup on it and no lettuce. It was by far the worst Whataburger I've ever been to. We ordered to dine in, it took 30 minutes to come out and it was packaged up to go. They completely ignored any changes to our order ex. Double charged on online order. Actual store won't help because it is online and they have nothing to do with online orders. Then they don't know the number to customer service for complaints about the online order. Thermal want even correct and I was charged nearly 50.00. Then finally got customer service number and was told they only make statements they can't actually do anything. Then there is the fact I ordered a shake on 4 different orders and the machine is always broken but again online and they can't do anything. I was visiting Midland from Colorado and was told that I had to have a Whataburger. Hesitant of any burger chain really given how many of them that there really are, I expected the plain ol' fast food burger. I was happily surprised by the opposite. I got the regular Whataburger combo and when I was done with it I immediately wanted another one. The burger, although incredibly simple and regular was very very flavorful and just worked well with everything else. I could actually taste the beef, cheese, and condiments all separately. I was also happily suprised by the actual beef flavor that came through in the burger. It wasn't overpowered with spices or grease and tasted like a solid burger. I instantly wanted another one which usually doesn't happen that often from a "chain" location. The french fries were also very crisp and fresh and had a nice seasoning on them that enhanced the natural potato flavor without overpowering it with oil, salt, or any other mystery flavors that sometimes appear in french fries. I arrived about 12:45 which was still during the lunch rush and as expected the place was completely full but that didn't seem to stop the service. We only waited about 5 minutes for our food to be brought to us, which was also a nice change, and everything was correct, hot and fresh. Another thing I didn't expect was the soda, as weird as that sounds. There was a different ratio of syrup to soda water which made a different overall flavor in the soda. Not sure if it was a Texas thing that made it different or just something different they were doing at this location, but the flavor was much better. I tried the Dr. Pepper and Fanta, and both were much more flavorful than I was used too. Overall I was very happy with my visit and returned two more times for the breakfast which was also pretty fantastic. Very simplistic, but very delicious. I'm driving thru Texas and I've never had whataburger, I got the #6 bacon avocado burger with a large fry and drink, the staff wasn't the nicest but were inherently rude just not that helpful, as I was eating my food, the burger started to get cold much faster than any burger I've ever had, it actually tasted pretty good like a good bacon avocado burger, but it was fridge temp before my friends got their food, it might've been the avocado tho, the frys just seemed like McDonald's that has been sitting out longer and got dryer, there still better than In N Out fries but nothing amazing, and for a large I got a huge Texas sized drink which makes sense but the fries were barely bigger than the medium, i thought everything was bigger in Texas lol, anyways I actually could've given this place a 4 star review cuz I actually liked the food as I was eating it, but after... that was another situation, i know the normal "oh crap" feeling after fast food and I got that but 10 times worse, i slept it off and it didn't help, maybe it's just food poisoning but either way I do not feel good after eating whataburger, worse than a hangover, caused me to not keep my breakfast down the next day either, i was excited to try this place and it's nice to say I went but I probably won't be coming back. read more

Old, tired facility - in need of a thorough cleaning and paint. Staff are pleasant, but they don't pay attention. My order was doubled and charged on a credit card. When I raised the question, the cashier said, "Can I give you cash back? That'd be easier for me!" The standard Whataburger table numbers weren't used. In their place, snow cone cups were inverted with hand-written numbers on them. I inquired and the cashier said, "People kept stealing them. My boss keeps the plastic ones in his car." I love a good WB, but I've never had more mistakes at a single one until this one. I've received two patty melts on two occasions with just cheese...nothing else. Two days ago ordered a honey bbq chicken strip sandwich, checked receipt on the bag, it all checked out...got home and opened a cheese burger with some strange tangy sauce and mustard.
