Unlike the other location in town, have always had the food I wanted in stock. The food here has always been well made. Staff is courteous and kind. Place is well kept. But, like every Taco Bell in Midland and Odessa, it takes a while to get your food. Don't know what the excuse is. The ones in Illinois and SoCal have always had prompt service. read more

The first experience the cashier was being screamed at for accepting cash by the manager, while there was a line out of the door. I did read the reviews about this place as i was in line at the drive thru. So first I was nervous. But I thought its a Taco Bell. Yes this one has a KFC with it. You can expect a whole lot. Well I guess I should have just taken the advice of fellow Yelper's. They don't have lemon aid or tea there. Just sodas. I took forever. There was only 3 cars ahead of me. I thought they might be killing our food in there. It took them almost 35 mins. Then when I got my burritos , It looked like they didn't have enough to put in it. So maybe I didn't come here at the right time it was 12:30 on a weekday, probably the busiest hour of their day. Hey if you can't handle the rush maybe you shouldn't be in the business of "fast food". So where oh where does a peach come from on this island you may ask... well this location (and it may be common in other but I have not seen it before) has a buffet. Not a big one, but about 20 items, and they seemed to be a little behind on refilling as there were a few people waiting on chicken... this is KFC guys... signature dish and all...c'mon. So back to my story, well finding a table was going to be tough, finding a clean table was only going to happen if I played busboy. Well i guess you get what you pay for.... I get that behind me and think it will be good to eat some bad for your arteries KFC, mac & cheese, and some sweet tea. Well let's just say if I wasn't on bachelor mode I could have just thrown that stuff away. The chicken was dry... how does dark meat come out dry at the busiest hour of the day? The Mac was more like Mac and Cheese soup. The coleslaw was the only saving grace. Even the tea had some funky taste to it. Enough is enough. Went in there and at first they told me I could not substitute black beans for the pinto. Then, after they finally conceded, told me they had never heard of fresco style, and Taco Bell stopped doing that a long time ago. When I told them it simply substitutes pico for all things dairy, they said they could take the cheese and sour cream off, but would have to charge me .50 per item to add pico. When I said that is not how fresco works, they said, well, since they are also Kentucky Fried Chicken, they don't do that, and I could call corporate if I didn't like it. So, I said, just leave the cheese and sour cream off. So, when we got our 7 layer burritos, they only had 2 layers, black beans and rice. Pretty upset, but we were traveling so I didn't go back in, and take even more time to try to fix something they basically already told me they wouldn't. Waited over twenty minutes for two $5 Fill Up Boxes(KFC). Our TacoBell orders came out (which were wrong but we just wanted out of there)and just sat at the counter, had to go ask about our food and one lady behind the counter looked at us like we were stupid and waz quite rude.
