What's not to love about a mass producing Mexican bread factory that doubles as a full blown traditional food restaurant??!?! Soooo delicious. Get here early if you want more options. They definitely stay stocked but this place is POPULAR. You grab a tray and pick your breads, then pay at the counter facing the entrance which is also where you order food. They'll give you a number and have many tables to sit at. All breads were good and fresh. Tried the crispy beef tacos which were no nonsense packed with meat. The green salsa they served with it was bomb. Also tried a bean and cheese burrito which was very delightful even though they don't have sour cream or rice which is odd. Staff was super friendly and the woman who helped me recommended the tacos which were really great and very filling. Hard cut off at 11 for breakfast burritos which is what I wanted but ended up being pleasantly surprised with my tacos and burrito. There was an older man facing away from the counter wearing an apron who kept creepily grabbing a younger woman who was employed their by the waist- it was off putting for sure I got the sense she was maybe newer or in training and hope by saying this the manager/owner will ask the girls and provide a safe space. And address the creep. I didn't see anything off any other visit. Will definitely keep coming back when in town. The tortas are supposed to be insanely good so that's on the list for the next round. read more

The tacos de carne asada were delicious. I ate the tacos before I took the pics and let me say they looked as good as they tasted. How do they get those corn tortillas so crispy? There's one lady who's usually not very nice, but the rest of the staff is pleasant. I usually have a limonada (lemonade) with my meal and today was no different, except that it had a metallic taste to it. I poured it out and had a coke instead. I should have said something but I was in a hurry and didn't want to wait in line to tell the unpleasant woman about it to probably be yelled at and scolded for wasting it when I poured it out in the fountain drain. Thankfully the parking lot has lots of space and pretty close to the front door. Got ham and chees tortas as well as tacos. This was my 1st time trying a torta- my friend explained it to me as a Mexican hamburger. The bun is really good and the meat is flavorful! Would definitely get it again. I'm intrigued by the brisket option. Tacos were great too. 4 per order and extremely filling. I only ate half so next time I'll split with a friend or have it again for another meal. The hamburger meat was good, but my friend had the barbacoa tacos which in my opinion were even tastier because the meat is fatty and juicy. My husband and I eat there weekly, most times we get it to go.But, nice and clean and amazing bakery. We love the crispy tacos, even better than my home made. I would normally give them five stars but tonight my husbands tacos was super skimpy on the meat. One taco shell had about a teaspoon of meat and a dab of cheese as you can see in photo. Normally spilling over with meat, cheese etc..(We ask to leave off tomato's). Well tonight there was very little in them compared to usual, especially husbands. This bakery is the highlight of my trips to Midland. It is incredibly authentic and the staff was wonderful. When you walk in, there are cases of baked goods that you pick from and put them on trays. You then go pay for the baked goods and order anything else that you may like. The sweet bread is HEAVENLY and the prices are great. The coffee leave something to be desired but the breakfast tacos more than make up for this. The bakery itself is very extensive and the owners seem to be very active in the community. The tacos here never fail to disappoint. They're 3-4 huge tacos packed with meat and the most delicious cheese. Throw some like juice on those bad boys and you've got some gooooood tacos.
