I have been wanting to find some nondairy cheeses (dang lactose intolerance) and discovered a pretty good variety here! The main downside of Natural Grocers (and pretty much ANY "health food store" is the PRICE. Gosh! How is it so expensive to eat REAL, HEALTHY, NATURAL FOODS?!?! Luckily, they have sales! The sale prices make it more manageable to shop here. For instance, the nondairy cheese I mentioned earlier is usually $4.49/8oz package, I missed a sale on it for $2.99/8oz package. (Their website listed a sale that ran through Sept. 1st) having never actually tried non dairy cheese, I was nervous to spend that much on something that *might* be gross... so I kind of would want to wait for another sale. I did buy some non dairy sour cream for $3.19... and it was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! Didn't taste anything like sour cream. Wonder why they could actually call it sour cream??? Blah!
