OMG! Baby, can you say delicious?! We tore down on this fajita torta and birria tacos! The torta bread was buttery and soft, and the meat was beautifully seasoned with a slight chew. The fries needed some salt and pepper, but overall, they were good and hot. The birria tacos had a different but delicious flavor. The meat was moist and flavorful, and the shells were soft yet crispy. They also have this pistachio agua fresca, and it was SO GOOD! I loved this place! It was clean and spacious, and the customer service was great. I'll definitely be back when I visit Odessa! read more

I love Aguachile's, but theirs were inedible. I thought we would get chips and salsa at the table, nope. The service was awful, she came to check on us once every 15 minutes maybe? I understand that they were busy, but that's no excuse for everything being awful. read more

Service was great, the salsa and chips were good. The orchata I ordered was really good. I ordered crispy tripitas tacos but got oily soft ones that may have been recooked from the ones from yesterday. I've eaten some from there before about 6 months ago and they were really good but not these today. I wouldn't recommend these tacos to anyone. Probably won't be back. read more

This restaurant was amazing for a family. We came for breakfast and enjoyed every morsel of food that came. Delicious and flavorful. Big Fluffy pancakes. Great portions. Highly recommend. read more

Food was very delicious. We had the enchilada plate and added a tamale. Unfortunately the tamale on this day was over cooked and dry once it was removed from the husk. Service was slow and not very attentive to the customers. Refills were not offered during our visit. The place was not busy during our visit so we hope it was just a bad day. We will give this place another chance to see if we find the service to be better on our next visit. read more

Straight up a great place for authentic Mexican food. Fast service and waitstaff always nice. Great for breakfast in the morning too, they open at 6am. read more

Restaurant was nice and food was decent but nowhere near worth the price. Our breakfast plates ended up being $18 each, and for breakfast that is just too much. Flavor was good, but just too much for what it was. Also our food wasn't super hot when it came out, it was warm almost like it had sat out for a bit. read more

I don't know what the hype was about the food, I was disappointed. Out of three people, all of us thought it was bland. The table of people next to us, took a few bites, pushed their plates back, and left. Didn't even ask for to go plates either. I won't go back. read more

I would leave zero stars if I could. Was told the wait would be 35 minutes, after 45 minutes I asked how much longer it would be. I was told they were waiting on a table to get up that was still eating. Had a table with 2 more people than us come in behind us and was set before us. Ended up walking out before we were even set. read more

All food was lukewarm and may have been good if HOT. Service was fine. Atmosphere was typical Mexican food restaurant.

Would've rated them 5 stars a year or two ago. Now the place is starting to go down hill in a hurry. Prices are even higher, when they were already on the pricey side. Seems like they water down their salsa now to get more volume. Enchiladas were still tasty and even with it being packed, we got seated quick and had good service. read more

Great service and delicious food. This place had no wait and was absolutely what we were looking for before I hopped on a flight back to Houston! Definitely a must go back! read more

Garely's Restaurant - Menudo - Mexican Near Me - Odessa, Texas

Service was good. Speaker/music was loud, difficulty hearing from across the table. Beef fajitas and some soup the guys ordered looked decent. Taco Salad with beef was awful. Tortillas shell half burned and very small compared to other restaurants. The contents were a couple of spoon fulls of vegetables and one of beef, I think. For it was just a mash of cheese, beans and miniscule ground beef. Did not finish it. Company paid. Unlikely to return or order that again. read more

I visit Odessa every few months and always make sure to eat here at least once while I am in town. I've had the enchiladas, pechuga Garley's, chilaquiles montados, and churro cake. Every time I try something new here, it is better than the last dish. And if you are lucky to get Giovanna as your server, she is amazing and has the best recommendations. read more

Completely unimpressed with Garely's, wife and her coworkers raved about this place. Family and I all left there with a "what the hell was that" feeling. Food is way overpriced and food is totally bland. Taco salad was like a soup in a shell, burritos were half filled with flavorless meat, enchiladas were cold and just nasty. We ask for the check, be ready it comes with an automatic surcharge fee. So you don't just get screwed with expensive crappy food, now you get charged just for walking into the restaurant! Avoid this place! read more

Seriously SO GOOD. I was very impressed. They had great service and the best queso in the Permian basin, something way to many Mexican restaurants lack. Everything was delicious and I will definitely be eating here often. read more

Garely's Restaurant - Garrets tacos! Mm very good! - Mexican Near Me - Odessa, Texas

Certainly not worth the price. The Margaritas were alcohol free until we complained and then got some with tequila. I ask the server if the Chili Rellenos were beef and he explained that there were only cheese. I decided on enchiladas and a taco w/ rice and beans since I try not to eat much cheese. Soon, I had a steaming plate of chili rellenos in front of me. I was surprised and hopefully ask if these were beef. Unfortunately, no. I said I really don't want all this cheese, and that I had ordered the enchiladas because there were no beef rellenos. He argued that I had ordered these, but finally took them away and returned in a reasonable amount of time with my enchiladas. I was about 3 bites in when I realized I had been sabotaged. I enjoy spicy food, but this was beyond anything I have ever experienced in my life. I broke out in a sweat and had tears coming out of my eyes and my nose started running. I called the waiter over and complained about the heat and he could clearly see I was in distress, but couldn't contain his amusement. He offered me sour cream. I ask what kind of pepper was used, and guessed it was habanero. "No, we don't use habanero, these are green chilies from New Mexico." (He was still giggling like a little girl.) I wish I had spoken with the manager but it was extremely busy by then and truly I just wanted to get to a glass of milk. I do plan to stop and speak with someone in the next couple of days. I really believe that because we sent the margaritas back and the misunderstanding about the food, someone decided to retaliate and have some fun at my expense. I do have to say that the taco was very good and was spared from whatever demon entered the enchiladas. The almost 2 tablespoons of re-fried beans and small amount of rice didn't do much to satiate my hunger and I did leave the restaurant hungry. My friend wasn't very hungry and only ordered 2 tamales, and both were soaked through with grease. Needless to say, she didn't complain. read more

Been a few times and have had good food. I find it to be a touch inconsistent depending on time of day and that part is hard to navigate, but in their busier hours food has been solid. It's a great option for us and I I think most will like it and find something they love . read more

The queso- thick white queso! None of the watered down queso you see everywhere else. Get the Large you'll want it. I had the steak tacos. It came with 4 tacos- on the side onions, limes, cabbage mix and 2 different sauces. The green sauce was MY FAV. My hubby had the enchiladas supreme. 2 chicken with green sauce, 2 beef red sauce, 2 cheese. The Mexican rice and beans HAD FLAVOR. I've lived in Midland for almost 5 years and this is THE FIRST spot with AUTHENTIC FLAVOR. Service was great! Food was PHENOMENAL. Try them today!!! I'd add a photo but we ate it alllllll read more

Worst service ever they completely messed up our drinks and our appetizers .We had to call the attention of our server multiple times and on top of that we were over charged for our drinks and appetizers we paid close to 100 dollars for the drinks and appetizers.I do not recommend this place at all. The service has to improve in order for me to return .The hostess was terrible and we waited over 30 minutes to get sat when there wasn't even a wait . read more

Absolutely amazing food and service! So glad we found this place. My family genuinely had a great experience.

Worst service ever. After waiting 20 minutes, had to ask for our waitress to at least take our drink order. Ordered and waited on our food 30 min and I asked if it was almost ready. She came back with food that was cold and had definitely been sitting awhile. We just walked out. Didn't even try the food. Would not recommend or go back. read more

The correct phone number for Garely's Odessa is 432-246-5051 or 5052. The food is South Texas approved! Great breakfast tacos. Carne Guisada is excellent. Tortillas will not disappoint. read more

Amazing flavors !!! Love this place. Easy access to everywhere I go. Authentic Mediterranean style food. Best guacamole ever.

Had breakfast. Menudo is good. But the wait staff very unfriendly. The coffee is bad as I noticed most other patrons ordered coke or soft drinks! Noticed orange juice machine half empty but a waitress filled it up with water and served it! Overall food is ok but wait staff needs more customer oriented training. read more

I work in the west Texas area but hang my hat in south Texas. It is very difficult to find good authentic Mexican food up here but Garely's is a very good place for food and the service is outstanding. I highly recommend this place.
