I had a mad hankering for some tacos and after looking at multiple places on Yelp, I landed on Wall St Cocina. Luckily, it was only a short walk from my hotel. If you're in the Midland downtown metro area, I would definitely recommend checking this place out. The tacos de birria definitely hit the spot with very well portioned and cooked tacos, a healthy serving of cilantro and onions, and delicious birria that had a good level of spice. The extra veggies for $1 was worth it in my opinion. The avocado for $3 was a rip off. There was barely any in there. Service was good. The guy behind the counter was very patient with all my questions and checked in on me to make sure everything was good. It would have been nice to have had utensils to eat the veggies and stuff but not a big deal. read more

Really impressed with this little hole in the wall. I will say I was disappointed my friend with alpha gal didn't have much luck because everything seemed to have pork and beef in it. 2 years ago I gave this place 5 stars bc this place was deserving of no less. I've dismissed some disappointing times I haven't had the best of service but it hasn't always been too bad and food was always good. Here lately though, I don't think Wall Street Cocina is holding up to what they used to be when they started. Today I went in and I guess they want to keep up with the damn fancy taco truck craze and now charge $14 for tacos. Now I can go to a restaurant and pay $14 for tacos too but that includes sides not just 4 sad soggy tacos that at times don't have hardly any meat to be called a darn taco... so it sucks that they keep raising prices but that wasn't what drove me to this review. After my order I was told there was a 25 minute wait before it would be ready. Got there at 11:30ish so it didn't seem bad, place wasn't that busy. No accessible parking, difficult to get in, bathrooms are not accessible and no tables accessible for wheelchairs. Little confusing if you are using the drive thru but pull up to the first window (even though you can't see thru it and they will slide it open within a couple of minutes. I got the barreia tacos and they had good flavor but with the price I wish they came with a side. I was left a little hungry but other than those two things it was good. read more

So I've been looking for tacos de birria in my area. I finally found some and I must say they were delicious. I met a friend for lunch. He had tacos de carne asada and he said they were delicious as well. My only issue is that the portions were a little skimpy. If they would have put a little more meat in each taco or added one taco it would have been perfect. Sides are extra. My order of four tacos de birria was $11 and some change. This is basically the price for lunch in any restaurant in midland. I will add Martinez bakery is still less than $10 and their tacos de barbacoa have plenty of meat in them. But that doesn't take anything away from Wall Street Cocina. This place is legit. Clean establishment. Great food. Nothing more to say. read more

Food is not good and it is way overpriced. It was $50 for 2 of us: we ordered a quesadilla and the birria tacos. The quesadilla tasted like it was made in the microwave. Basically a raw tortilla with unseasoned ground beef and white cheese. My husband liked the birria tacos, but overall just not worth the price. I know how busy this place is, that's why I've called ahead and picked up from the drive-thru window. Today, I did exactly that except I waited for 10 min on the window and no one came to help. I thought maybe they stopped using the drive thru so I decided to go inside. I asked if the window was still in service and they said yes, I explained I was there for 10 min and I was just told "we're busy". I asked if there was someone I could talk to about it and I was told no. I took home cold food, heating it up as I type this review. Please help your employees better their service and give them service recovery tools, an apology ad the very least would be been nice. I would give 0 stars if possible, the food is way over priced, terrible ingredients and honestly just not good. Cheap cheap ingredients, extremely spicy and I am a heat person. Cheap ballpark queso and chips for the nachos. The tacos are half full and once again the only seasoning or flavor you will taste is straight chilli pepper heat. Only positive things is I loved the green sauce, red sauce is mediocre to say the least. Save your money don't get your hopes up, try birria man food truck, usually posted up at food truck alley, or taco divino, they are the best in town and I go there weekly, still no one can top the reigning champ... I've given this place 4 chances because it's so close to my work and it would be so convenient if I loved it. Unfortunately, they've disappointed me each time. I know it is a family run business and they want to be personable, but they almost cross over to unprofessional. I made a simple request for mulitas with carne asada instead of birria, and their only answer was that "they don't do that". No willingness to accommodate or even suggestions for other options. The wait is always very long and I understand that it is not a fast food restaurant but calling in and having to wait half an hour after the time they said it would be ready is ridiculous. The food is also slightly overpriced, if I'm being honest. $10.95 for an order of 4 sub-par, skimpy tacos. With all of that being said, the birria is pretty tasty and has a nice spice to it. They used to make the birria mulitas and birria tacos with a thicker, masa tortilla that tasted homemade but they've stopped doing that and now they're just in an extremely greasy, plain tortilla. read more

Upon arriving at the office and opening my meal there was not any salsa in the bag and it was a regular burrito with ground beef and hard potatoes.
