This place doesn't not surprise me with their lowest reviews out of the few branches north being the newest but the worst. The manager is always aggressive rude reflecting a toxic environment on her employees. However , this store is in desperate need of a management change. My wife wanted Jr. burger tonight so we drive to Whataburger. We were the only car in the drive thru. But but nobody came over the intercom to take our order for over 5 minutes after we got there. I finally called out "Hello!l and a guy comes back asking me to wait a minute. Then I wait another 2 or 3 minutes. In order my wife's Jr. burger with no onions and tomatoes. When we get home , it's a large burger with everything on it. Writing this review as we have been sitting in our car waiting 20 minutes now for our food. Can see the employees inside moving at a snails pace. This one in Leander is awful! We sat in the outside lane to order and the guy key skipping us which should have been our first sign LOL We then moved to the other lane and finally got our order in Update: after watching several cars leave with their orders while we were still waiting, my husband got out of it our vehicle and went inside the restaurant. Apparently they lost our order while another employee said our order was given to someone else. The girl at the counter told my husband that he was the 5th person to come in tonight with their order given to the wrong person. My husband was pretty upset and asked for our money back. That took a long time too as the manager couldn't find our ticket. If this is a franchise, I would be very concerned about their business! read more

With all the COVID restrictions and all the frustration around it, my family has not been going out much. That said, the other night, we decided to get burgers and the only one open was Whataburger. I know the lines are long. As someone who has eaten at Chick Fil A, the Whataburger line is nothing that long. So even though I waited 35 minutes, we got our order fresh and well made. And of note, because to me it matters, I was so delighted to see the workers in masks and gloves and taking their lives seriously and my food too. The chicken sandwich I ate was fantastic, and the onion rings were great. Nothing was soggy or overheated, or undercooked. Mostly, the working staff is friendly and everything was exactly what I wanted. Was it the fastest fast food? No. But what Wataburger ever is, and also, is it fair to expect such a thing when the only one open is Whataburger? I'm not sure, and I totally understand if someone else's opinion is different. For my family and for my opinion, time wasn't a factor. This rating is based on delicious food that set our morale up again, friendly staff who is keeping us safe, and the fact that I was all too happy to get in line. We really love Whatburger, but this location is just not very well managed. The 1st time I ordered to go when they 1st opened, waited 30 minutes for the food. The subsequent visits, we dined in and still a long wait. Yesterday the dining room only had 1 patron. There was no line inside. I placed my order, waiting, waiting, waiting. I could see one of their workers in the kitchen wrapping burgers after burgers.....for the drive through. So 30 minutes later, finally got my order......And.....the burgers and fries were all cold!!!! Will not come back again ever. read more

I have gone to this location about 4 times. I would like to start off with the food. I have gotten just a Whataburger meal, chicken honey biscuit, and a taquito. The hamburger was dry, over cooked and the bun was dry and hard. The quality was terrible. The french fries were hard and not even edible. The chicken biscuit, again I could not even eat it. The chicken was so hard and dry you could not even bite into it. The biscuit was hard and there was barely any sauce on it. The taquito was not that bad with enough Picante on it. Service is sub par at best. When it is not even crowded, it takes forever to get someone to take your order at the drive thru. When there are only a handful of cars in the line. I am a native Texas girl and I have grown up on Whataburger and it used to be so good. The other locations in the Cedar Park area are better. Despite my previous bad experiences, I thought I would try one last time. I mean how hard is it to screw up breakfast... They managed to do it. It was Awful. First, rhe wait. When you have to wait in line 23 minutes, while people in the far lane keep coming and going is just wrong. Then when I got the food, ewww. The chicken on the chicken biscuit is disgusting. The meat is like jerkey and there is no crispness left in the breading. It seems like it was days old and has been reheated 8 times. SO gross. And the pancakes were overdone and tasted burnt, and there was condensation all over them because it is obvious they had been sitting there a while so on top of that they are soggy as hell. I have never been to a fast food restaurant where it takes more then 30 minutes for a to go order. Burger and fries were cold, couldn't get any help at the counter. Non of the employees act or seem like they want to be there. The first time I used the drive thru and it was a 40 minute wait and I got all the wrong food. I will say it is clean lobby. The manager was of no help, all she kept saying is I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I will never frequent the store again, I'll drive to Cedar Park where the staff seems to have the there act together and are very attentive to customers. So done with this location. I'm sure they're short on staff but it is extremely slow and by the time you get your food it's cold and taste very stale. Doesn't taste fresh at all. When they first opened, it was so much better, hopefully it will improve, but we won't be trying it again for a while. read more

This is Texas...everyone loves WB! Well the new Leander Whataburger is pretty good. They look a lesson from Chick-fil-A on how to get the customers in and out decently fast. This location has two drive thru lanes which are needed bc there is normally a line. My favorite menu item would be taquitos or honey butter chicken biscuit and fresh fries. ALWAYS check your order bc they have missed up my orders a few times and I didn't know until I got home. Thankfully this location is by my house and they always make it right. read more

Wow, first time ever rating a Whataburger not 5 stars. Ordered a #1 with cheese and a Dr pepper in the drive through. Guy took my name for some reason even though it never came up again. They somehow heard double Whataburger. I corrected it with the cashier that walked at the slowest pace imaginable, they took forever to make it, and they still brought me a double Whataburger. My girlfriend and I come to this Whataburger as this is in our neighborhood. We went and ordered our meal at night and ordered what a wings and the chicken strip meal and they forgot the side of ranch for the what a wings and the gravy for the chicken strip meal. One guy brought the gravy and we asked the lady for ranch and she goes to get and and before handing it to us she says in a rude way "next time you need to ask before because we charge for these!" I had gone on a Friday to pick up my curbside order. It was busy and it wasn't until I got home that I realized my chicken wings were missing. I tried to call but couldn't get an answer. The next day I sent an email to the company and within a few days not only received a reply from them with an apology but also the manager of the store. I went in and not only got replacement wings but fries and a drink. It made me feel that they cared and were concerned with the business. TRASH location. Waiting almost an hour in curbside for my food, even though there were 5 cars that got there after me and left before me, not to mention the cars in drive thru and dine in. I don't have a problem with waiting at any other locations in the Cedar Park/Leander area, just this one. Absolutely ridiculous. I've ordered the chicken strip meals from this location using the app twice now and both times they've not put the gravy in the meal, though it's on the receipt. One of the times we had to drive back up there to get the gravy, the other time we just went without, but it's quite irritating. The slowest and worst Whataburger in Texas. Waited 20 minutes for a bacon cheeseburger. By the time it came out, it was cold. They need to either fire the whole crew and start from scratch or bulldoze the place. The good news is that food places (Chipotle, Panda Express and Dairy Queen) are opening next door. Poor management. Slow lines. Unconcerned that we were stuck in line and had not even ordered breakfast yet for over 45 mins since the line did not move. Two lanes were opened but after ordering the two lanes merged into one lane. If your going to do this, only have one lane open. Use your brains. I was waiting in line for 30 mins, and two car cut in front of us because of this. Inconsiderate. Don't come to this location. In total we waited 1 hour and 39 mins for breakfast.
