I was a nice blend of hot, cold and tasty! I love that they have cherry and vanilla liquid dispensers by the soda fountain so you can make your own cherry vanilla coke or cherry vanilla Dr. Pepper. Terrible service and the most disgusting burger I have ever had, couldn't eat it. The meat was burned, the lettuce brown and wilted, the tomato was nasty too. Food was cold. They didn't even put it together, it was slopped into the wrapping. When I was offered ketchup, I asked for 1 ranch and Brandi gave it to me with attitude stating I should have asked for ranch at the order microphone because they charge for it. How was I supposed to know that, it's not on the menu with a price label. If they are going to charge, then they need to ask what condiments you want while they are taking the order, don't shame me for not knowing. I rarely come here and never will again. Also the second burger ordered, same problems but it was ordered with no mustard or pickels. Brandi was confused so I repeated the order and she then repeated back it to me saying only cheese and lettuce. What happened to the tomatoes, so I asked if it came with tomatoes and she said yes. Completing it warns you a free Dilly Bar. I've found the drive-thru very competent about understanding the freebie, and I've found that they seem genuinely happy to do it--I think because they know the survey was absolutely completed. Absolutely terrible service at this Dairy Queen. The shift lead, Jessie, was extremely rude when I asked to have the fixings for my taco salad on the side. He told me they were "too busy" to accommodate that -- like I'm not a paying customer who deserves decent service. I've been to this location before and have never had an issue with that request. To make matters worse, when I asked for a receipt, they handed me a blank piece of receipt paper and then sarcastically asked if I "really want a receipt." Completely unprofessional. And let's be honest -- the amount of time Jessie spent running his mouth about what they couldn't do, he could have actually used that time to help fulfill my request since they were supposedly so busy. Finally had our first visit to the new DQ in Leander. We had desserts in (not drive thru). Service was good and fast. And unlike some DQ's in the area, no extra charge for whipped cream. Came in to order two ice creams, there was only one other couple in the restaurant. They were not busy at all. It Took 15 minutes and me about to cancel my order to get a smushed dipped cone and brownie cupfection with hardly any ice cream just brownie and syrup. Normally I don't mind waiting, seeing people come through drive-through after we already ordered and then getting their food and ice cream why we're still sitting in there is pretty frustrating. I went through the drive through and my experience was disappointing. First, the young lady at the window handed me a box garlic parmesan sauce all under the box. She did not attempt to place the souled box in a bag. I have never been handed a food item without a bag, especially in drive through. When I brought the concern to the young lady, instead of her taking the box back and putting the soiled box in a bag, she is gagging out the window trying to assist me with putting the box in the bag. Then she took she my card for payment, then handed me my beverage with red flavoring spilling on the lid and down the sides. Unfortunately, these young adults are not trained to be mindful of things like this. I remember the days when they would wipe your cup before you handing it to you. If I could give 0 stars, I would, I came by today for free cone day and received the upmost disrespect from what appeared to be the manager. Someone by the name of Stephen Rodriguez. Every time I have passed by the last couple of months when I see him I know it's going to be a bad experience, I can tell he's not nice to the employees either as he's always yelling or appears mad at them. To me, 1 he messed up my cone as I received a melting cone and 2 I ordered an 8 piece and only received a 4. I'm extremely upset and when I asked for 4 more he told me to pay for them even though I had previously paid for 8. I even heard him tell his employess to just get me out of the drive thru. Came at 11:16 7/8/23 Lexi was my cashier, she was super friendly and nice to my son and I. My food came out pretty quick and was I was sad it was going to be cold but it was super hot and fresh. I got the Jalitos burger and added pickles and onions and thought it might end up sloppy but it was well put together. My son got the chicken and they are big pieces. He got an ice cream that was included in the kids meal. Churro dipped cone, yes please! We have a Dairy Queen in our Leander neighborhood, finally! My husband and I finally had a chance to go check it out and get some dinner. We wanted to check the new spot by parking and going inside. I had downloaded for the fist time the specific DQ Texas app which was new to my ears and was so grateful for a free min blizzard just for downloading it. I wan't that hungry so I ordered the chicken tenders, onion rings, a small drink and my churro dip cone off the kids menu $5.49. My husband ordered the Taco Salad with chicken. The person that rang us up never asked if it was for here or to go as she handed our number and we said we needed it to go and she said she would update the staff, which she did. While we waited for our order, I made my way to the clean and stocked drink station to fill my little cup. I was so happy to see that they had the good ice and when I say that you know what I mean. To my surprise, next to the soda machine, they had the pumps with vanilla and cherry syrup! I was like yes, please. So I pumped a little into my root beer which was a nice addition to my drink. No one was dining inside but the majority of the tables were clean. We overheard our order number so we made our way back to the counter and the helpful worker handed us our frozen treats with much enthusiasm and a smile. I looked at my churro dipped cone and was a little disappointed that I didn't get the sugar sprinkled on top but the mint brownie blizzard my husband received was perfect he said. Just about a min after that we received the rest of our order and we left. We got home excited to finally sit down and eat after a long day of work and gym class. We pulled our meals out of the bag and then I realized that I was given jalitos instead of chicken fingers, what a disappointment. I always try to find a positive in most situations so I was like, well I would have never ordered these so let's give them a try. My husband opened up his taco salad box and started to eat and realized he was given jalitos instead of chicken as well. Now by this point we were both very disappointed.
