You have to order at the door and 90 seconds in I am given a tablet asking for the tip for my service which has not happened yet. My wife and I ordered iced tea and set at the bar so we could watch the world cup. Since we were not drinking bar drinks, the bartender ignored us and never refilled our tea. The manager was sitting at the end of the bar with another guy that was wearing a Briteside t-shirt drinking a beer and dropping F-bombs. Keep in mind this is a place that caters to families with elementary and junior high kids and they are dropping F-bombs right and left. Manager did come over and ask how my food was. I said "awful". He asked why and I said what I said above. He said "well the cook cooked it too long". No offer of any kind to fix the situation. No apology. When we left he did apologize for the fish but I stated that I didn't feel he meant it since he pretty much dismissed my complaint by changing the subject to the fly fishing resort referenced on my shirt. Again, no attempt to fix this. I said I won't be back and he said 'okay'. So, I won't be back and I suggest, unless you want to drop off your kids at a whiffle ball court and water slide while you drink beer and don't care about the food or the service, don't go.

However, my wife ordered the burger, and it fell flat. It felt pretty standard-issue, likely coming straight off a Sysco truck, showing that the menu can be a little hit-or-miss. For the atmosphere, definitely grab a seat outside! That area is easily the best part of the venue, whereas the interior leans into a basic dive bar vibe that isn't quite my preference for dining. They acted as though they would rather be anywhere else and made us feel like we were an inconvenience for being there. For a special occasion, we expected at least basic friendliness and hospitality, but the service completely took away from what should have been a fun celebration. The food may have been good but the customer service was enough that we would not return. A restaurant can have great food, but if the staff makes customers feel unwelcome it really impacts the entire experience.
