A Special Thank You to Mrs. Judy I recently moved to Houston, Texas, and decided to try something different, so I stopped by Whataburger at Restaurant 813. Since it was my first time eating at Whataburger, I wasn't familiar with the menu or how everything worked. Mrs. Judy was my cashier and waitress, and I just want to take a moment to recognize how wonderful she was. She was incredibly kind, patient, welcoming, and helpful while I explained that I had never been to Whataburger before. She took the time to answer my questions and made me feel comfortable rather than making me feel like I should already know what to do. Moving to a new city can be an adjustment, and having someone show that kind of genuine kindness really means a lot. Just ordered and food arrived. Fast service, staff very friends yet will I come here again... NO! The burger is awful specifically the bun stale small and hard, the meat is tenderized Amazon boxes. Just go down the street to Chili's 3 for $10, plus tax and tip but better than this food their burger is excellent given I just paid $11.79. I had a great experience dining here. We had everything we needed. However, we ordered two burgers, one with no mustard but they didn't remember and served us both burgers with mustard. I honestly don't understand the low rating this location. Today is number two of the cold winter storm and guess who's open what a burger. Serving up some of the best burgers in town. This is probably the best fast food burger in town so again I'm really not sure why this has a two star rating. Food: I live six minutes away in downtown and when I got home, the burger was so fresh and still hot. So were the fries. Every single bite was simply amazing. I know they don't eat a whole lotta fast food but this is one of the better fast food chains in Houston, Texas. You cannot go wrong with this place. The fries were crispy. The Dr Pepper was strong and good fountain drink style. Seriously this is easy a five star review. If you want a great fast food burger stop by. Today stop at Whataburger off North Main by 45 North Freeway. Ms. Melissa greeted me all smiles & took my order double meat junior burger with leafy lettuce, & monterrey Jack cheese. Her service was great a little difficult getting my rewards to ring up though Mrs Belinda store manager came to the show her how to ring up the transaction yay She very polite with her associate on helping her with the transaction all went through smoothly I was a very happy customer. The environment of the store was very clean right down to the drink station very clean. The atmosphere was very bright like they had just recently overhaul the store itself, which made it very welcoming. Thanks again Melissa and Belinda. I visited Whataburger to try the 9-piece Honey BBQ Whatwings, and I am extremely disappointed with my experience. Out of the 9 wings, only 3 had sauce. This is nothing like their advertised photos of wings "covered in sauce." The overall food quality was subpar, and this experience did not meet my expectations. It is unacceptable for a well-known establishment to serve such poorly prepared food. I will never order Whataburger Whatawings again. They were too dry. Wendy's use to have a slogan "Where's the Beef" to mock other fast food eateries and the Whatawings could be advertised as "Where's the sauce" to mock Whataburger lack of sauce. There was only one car in front of me. Instead of having me pull into the 2nd lane to retrieve my food they made me pull up behind the one vehicle. I waited for 20mins past my pick up time before I got to the window. At this point I'm furious. I go one to tell the drive thru associate that they should've had me pull into the other lane since my food had been ready. As a visitor from Wyoming, I don't get much Whataburger. In fact, we dont get any. So our first Whataburger experience was quite unique. The food was exceptional, loved the food, burger was great, fries average. Atmosphere was about how you would expect from a fast food burger chain. However, poorly designed loose lids led to multiple spills. Staff was all over it and got it cleaned up instantly. Good experience and would definitely recommend. Im from the Bay Area where In N Out is a popular burger spot. I was told that Whataburger is the comparison. So I went to check it out and although the patties were good and fresh, I have to side with In N Out. Maybe I'm biased but theres something about that In N Out animal sauce that is so satisfying. This is my first Yelp review (which speaks a lot). The past few times I've come to this location it has been just absolutely horrible. 1st experience: inside dining took me about 30 minutes to get my food...meh, whatever. 2nd experience: inside dining again and the person working the register didn't know how to work the register properly without the manager's code in which the manager acted as if she didn't care. The cashier says under her breath we need a new manager. While this order is being taken some kid working there thinks it's cool to unwrap the cinnamon bread at the cash register in front of me. It took about 45 minutes to get my order right bc they messed it up three times. While I'm eating some lady is chewing out the workers (rightfully so) bc it's been forever for her order 3rd experience: as I'm writing this it's been 1 hour and 15 minutes til I received my food. I asked what's the deal with the long wait and his response was there's only 3 people working which was a lie bc I could see 5 people just through the window.
