I am reviewing my drive through experience of this Becks Prime location on Kirby Dr. I pass by all the time and reminisce of all my past lunch breaks here years ago. I was running errands in the area and getting hangry. I didn't have the energy to go in and sit down to eat somewhere so I opted for drive thru. The ribeye sandwich caught my eye that day as I was craving steak/meat. I also got a side garden salad to go with it. The service was warm and friendly as I didn't feel rushed when making my decision. After ordering and pulling around it was only a few minutes and my food was ready. Quick and fresh who doesn't love that?! It smelled so good I started eating the sandwich in my car! The bun was toasted yet soft and pillowy, I enjoyed the juicy tomato slices and lettuce that accompanied and let the smoky mesquite grill taste shine through on the ribeye. Visited recently and was a bit dismayed by this location. I've always been a big fan of Beck's! This location has been great in the past but on this visit, it was terribly humid inside. The bottled beer was warm. Our food was good as per usual. Although, their parking lot just sucks for the area! It is terrible to navigate! I'd just recommend other locations as this one just no longer works for that area. I prefer the Westheimer, Bellaire or Dairy Ashford locations. read more

Days and days of an unexpected hurrica-tion. So grateful to be able to grab an early dinner at Beck's Prime on Kirby. Love this cute little location. Too bad it was hot and humid post-Hurricane Beryl. The wood picnic tables under the live oak trees are so cute. Nice to sit outside in the fall or spring. They have a very busy drive through, but we took advantage of the air conditioning and a birthday BOGO coupon for an early dinner before a Sweet to be Elite Ice Cream Week at Jeni's. Love their Queen of Hearts Salad. This is my go to dinner. Artichoke hearts, hearts of palm, green olives, bell peppers and hard boiled eggs. Add seared tuna. So good. Used the BOGO to get a mushroom burger and an Ahi Tuna Sandwich. Added extra veggies to the ahi tuna sandwich which already includes feta cheese, cucumbers, red onions and tomatoes with an Asian sesame-ginger spread. Get the Parmesan truffle fries. Delish. I was pretty excited to try this place as they are more of a drive-through where you can get more of upscale drive in food. (Ie steaks, caesar salads, made to order burgers) We had a burger, salad with grilled chicken, a steak and truffle fries surprisingly everything came pretty fast for drive-through Food was good reasonably priced service was good. Would recommend they do close early maybe 10 PM. Definitely plan to return. read more

I live in Austin but always consider it a treat when I get to stop & eat here. Dairy Ashford location is my favorite-the patio is great. I don't have a favorite here yet because every time I'm here I try something different. Nothing has disappointed me. I love the burgers. The chicken. The ahi tuna sandwich. Currently I'm hooked on the broccoli salad for my side. I really appreciate the option for a dessert sized shake. Everything is 10/10. When I think of Becks Prime it's usually about their very good hamburgers and fries. They are one of the better ones in Houston from this small local chain restaurant. Recently I decided to try something else on the menu and ordered Roberts Chicken and Veggies entree for $14.25. Speaking of the menu, it also offers $50 steak dinners from this counter service restaurant. Quite unusual! The food took almost 15 minutes before it was ready for my dinner. It had a nice sized piece of boneless grilled chicken along with plenty of veggies including tomatoes, broccoli, red onion, squash, cucumber and mushrooms all mesquite grilled too. This was a deliciously flavored meal that was also healthy and I enjoyed it. I wouldn't hesitate to order it again. This location is conveniently located on Kirby and does have limited parking for dine in customers along with a drive thru for to go orders. Becks serves quality food. read more

I came in at 12:40 after church and ordered full meals for three people and ordered a coffee. The server told me they don't serve coffee. I said your menu has coffee, he said "we're out". I said make some more. He said "no". I couldn't believe it. He was rude and acted like I was out of line for asking for coffee. Manager needs to contact me. Ordered Bill's Burger with Parmesan Truffle fries to go. Make sure you are hungry cause this burger is huge with bacon, sautéed onions & jalapeños everywhere! Beef was perfectly seasoned and had some smoke to it. The fries were also excellent with the right balance of Parmesan and Truffle flavor. You'll pay a little more. That said, well worth it. I wanted the veggie fajitas (on their website), but the hired help had no idea that there even were veggie tacos; they insisted on adding a protein. So I added grilled chicken. We went through drive through. There was a bit of a wait but we did order a lot of food. We got the kitchen sink, chili cheese dog, a baked potato, lemonade, Bills burger and the ribeye sammich. The meat on kitchen sink was just okay. I did like their bacon and avocado but that's about it for that dish. The chili cheese dog, the chili was a bit more earthy, and no spice. I was expecting a lil spice but nope, just more beans. It wasnt bad, but idk if I'd order it again. Both the baked potato and lemonade were just... what they were. Okay. The Bills burger was interesting. It was a lot of things and you got a bit of everything w/ the sauce, jalapeno, and meat. I like ribeye most. It was kind of juicy and it was pretty good. Definitely the first drive thru I've been to that serves prime steaks. It's a chain in Houston TX that you can't get it any where else in the states. The drive thru was a bit tricky. Burgers are good but nothing spectacular. You have to ask for lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and onions as all they come with is sauce and the burger, and cheese if you have it on yours. Make sure to request it medium well, because their medium is medium rare in most places. Prices are insane though. And yes, I've read the owner's response about using only the finest ingredients, but it's just too expensive for what it is- there are other places using high end ingredients like pappas burger and even bludorn, which at least include fries with the burger. Over $20 for burger, fries and a Diet Coke is just crazy. Too many other great burger places in town to keep me coming back to this place or to recommend it. read more

Another one seems to be biting the dust, I went through the drive-through tonight to get an açai tuna sandwich, which has been a favorite for many years, especially at this location and what I got served was a seared ice cold tuna that had so many tendons running through it I ended up eating the sandwich mostly without the tuna, the person that took my order seemed like he would rather do anything else, which is definitely not the norm over the past 25+ years that I've been eating there, I would not have written this review, except that this is the third time this has happened since the relaunch of this location, when their food is on, it is some of the best that I've had but I can't pay these prices for food that I don't even want to eat, Becks prime, you need to do better, I guess I will have to drive the extra distance to go to one of their other locations because this is the only location I've had problems with, nobody will ever know how bad it hurts me to write this review, I look forward to following up this review with a good one, I hope it happens read more

Whenever I travel to Houston, I've made it my goal to stop at BP for my first meal. The burgers are cooked over a grill flame which gives them a unique taste that cannot be beat.
