I tried Whataburger for the first time. I had heard mixed reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. I thought the food was good. The restaurant was clean and employees were friendly. I ordered the Whataburger and fries. My wife ordered the Patti melt and enjoyed her food also. read more

Whataburger - Patti Melt - Burgers Near Me - High Point, North Carolina

Grand opening! I left work and wanted to grab a quick bite before heading back. Well, I stumbled across this location that had its grand opening. They had the building decorated with streamers and a blow-up shark on top. It wasn't a long wait in the drive-thru, and the food was fresh. I was even given a coupon since it was opening day. read more

Brand new. Time to get a burger. The line was slow, but that's to be expected while they're training. I was surprised to get through fast as I did. Being the first time at a Whataburger, I ordered the patty melt and the sweet and spicy burger. Both amazing. She said the fries were good, but the onion rings were better so I ordered both. Again both good choices. The spicy ketchup is a cool addition for the fries. Great to have a place to eat here in High Point. read more

For takeout, this was a homerun. I had a late night meal, small line. First Whataburger experience. I found good quality, great portion for price, and very friendly service. Staffed nicely. Watched the hard-working young staff do a great job. Great venue as long as there is not a long line. Wishing them the best. read more

Finally got to try a Whataburger and I am Not sure what all the hype is about. Very similar to McDonald's burger and fries. It was a fine fast food meal but nothing that made me say I have to keep coming back for this. Milkshake was my favorite part, oh and they have cherry coke, also a bonus. I think it's funny someone mentioned the woman being inconvenienced while she was adding liners to the trays. We also experienced this. When they serve your food they come out with a condiment tray in lieu of keeping them at the drink station. Sort of unique. Restaurant was mostly clean. read more

Whataburger - Dbl burger - Burgers Near Me - High Point, North Carolina

People were waiting for hours and walking from a mile away for this??? Talk about your possum taste buds, the elites are getting them 5stars in for attention like sad little 12yr old girls with a teen idol crush. I had the jalapeno burger, and the patty wasn't warm enough to melt the cheese. And the burger patty was barely thicker than the cheese slice. The burger had no seasoning and little beef flavor. A handful of raw onion chunks didn't help either. The fries were standard shoestring, nothing interesting except the spicy ketchup. Even the Coke was flat. This is barely better than McD's at twice the price. I'll stick with Cookout and Pete's for my fast-food burger cravings in the future. Oh, and they don't have a working mobile app to order ahead, in the year 2025..unreal read more

Whataburger - burger patty so cold it won't melt cheese - Burgers Near Me - High Point, North Carolina

Got a double burger, one patty was cooked and the other was raw.. PINK.. ridiculous. Do not come her.

Things have really improved since first opening imo. Food is good & service is decent. I didn't realize they didn't include ketchup on burgers standard and forgot to order with cheese early on, but with those two items added I was really happy with their burger- which is huge btw- I couldn't finish all of it. I'm not especially fond of their fries but the onion rings are really good! I'm a big fan of their burger melt. The meat was good, plenty of cheese, and the bread wasn't soggy. I've tried their banana pudding shake and it was yummy! We've only ever used drive through so I don't know what it's like inside. read more

When my mom and I went late at night we were greeted with rudeness, they got are order wrong and when my mom brought the food back up a young girl said "oh let me see". Snatches the burgers away from her so she sat down with me and we waited for 20 minutes and after we finally got our food. The onion rings and fries were cold, food didn't taste good, and they burnt my burger buns. So in general I don't recommend this place and go to the other what-a-burgers near the area read more

It was just ok. For $14 I'd expect a lot better. It shouldn't take 20 minutes for a burger and fries.

The staff and waiters were very attentive and polite. I enjoyed my experience at Whataburger and the food was fresh and hot. I wish every restaurant was as friendly and good as yours! Ty Chastity Gregory read more

Where do I start. My family and I were excited to try Whataburger today but it will be a one and done for us. We ordered using the kiosk in the lobby because they only had one person at the counter and the line was to the door. This was fine, went fairly quick. But then we had to go to the counter to get our cups for our drinks. This is where the visit went down hill. I stood at the counter along with another lady waiting for someone to help us and nothing. I finally interrupted a young lady putting liners on trays to help us. She was not very friendly and acted like we were inconveniencing her. When the food came out we had ordered two Whataburgers with one of them on a regular bun and one on a brioche bun and one Jr Whataburger. The burger on the brioche bun was $1.00 more which was fine. However, the burger ended up being the size of the Jr burger. I took the burger up to the counter to make sure this was correct and again waited for someone to acknowledge me and nothing. Six employees walked past me without saying a word. I'm sorry but I have worked in a restaurant and if you see someone with an open sandwich standing at the counter you ask what is wrong. I did finally speak with a manager after stopping someone to get him for me. He did offer to make another sandwich but said it would be the same due to the bun. I ended up just eating the burger and it was okay. It was basically an over priced McDonalds burger. I would have much rather have went to Cook-Out as their burger is way better than this place and recommend you do the same. My suggestion to Whattabuger, if you want to stay in business work on your customer service. If Chick-fil-a can have great service even when super busy so should you. read more

Whataburger - Same burger - one on bottom was $1.00 more for a brioche bun - Burgers Near Me - High Point, North Carolina

The first couple times that I went to this establishment it was great Brandon I believe may be a assistant manager or the manager, but he is great very pleasant and of people person and he wants your experience with this restaurant to be good. But several times when I've went It's not the food that's bad. It's the service with one particular person on the receipt. It says her name is Christina M. She's a Lightskin African-American young girl wears a Whataburger cap and she has glasses. If I know she's there I try to avoid it. There's been times I've drove through the drive-through because I hear her voice and just passed by the window and don't even order anything. The last time that I visited was on 4/6 at 11:22 PM. and I do mean this will be my last time. She is so rude so unpleasant no personality and I was asked to pull around to the side and my food was brought out and basically pushed into my window if I wouldn't have had my hand out to grab it. It would've just fell on the floor inside of my vehicle so this isn't the first time I've had an issue with her. It's more around the 3rd to 4th time and because of this reason, I will not be back I frequent this particular Whataburger 3 to 4 times a week same time usually sometimes it's through the day before an appointment or just because I happen to be out at that time, but even having her scan my phone for my point is like it's such an excruciating task for her like it's a problem that I even asked her to do that. I will not be back there. I did speak to Brandon and told him how much I appreciate him being kind but for the reasons, I just stated that's enough to keep me away because I can only be nice for so long when someone's rude to me and then you're gonna get it back tenfold so for her benefit I just choose not to go there anymore. I hope other people have a different experience or maybe she'll get fired or maybe she'll quit but hopefully you won't have to deal with her and we'll have a pleasant experience with Brandon. read more

Waiting in a drive thru line for 30 minutes is totally unacceptable. If your staff isn't ready, opening should have been delayed. Ive had a friend Rave about the food, so I was excited to try. WORST burger I've ever had! Bun was stale, flat and tough. Meat? Was flavorless and unappealing. Fries tasted like overcooked OreIda shoe strings that you overcooked in the oven. Whole meal got tossed. Best part was the Coke. Yuck. read more

Best fast food place in the area! Moderately priced and fantastic taste. Good customer service as well.

I read the reviews but still decided to give it a shot. I ate at one of the Greensboro locations a few weeks ago and you can find that review in my feed. I arrived a little after 9 on a Tuesday so well after the "rush". When I saw it down the road I honestly thought they were closed but upon arrival there were a few cars in the lot and maybe 4 or 5 in the drive thru. Walking in there was two tables that were occupied and no one else. I placed my order and went to fill my drink and find a table. The drink counter was a disaster with ice all over the drip tray and a huge sticky mess everywhere else. I found one of the cleaner tables and waited, and waited, and waited. I waited a full 18 minutes and one of the tables that was occupied had apparently been waiting a while too as they got up to figure out where their food was. I didn't see this as a good sign. My meal finally arrived and I hate to admit that it was sub par. I said I was going to give Whataburger another chance and I have. I'm saddened that a restaurant I loved when I lived in Texas has changed so much that I doubt I ever go back to any location after my last two experiences. I'm giving two stars because the girl that waited on me was very nice and friendly. I hope for the sake of everyone that they get their act together in NC or it will follow the long train to becoming a family owned Asian or Mexican food restaurant. Then people will talk about how it used to be the Whataburger while enjoying a nice meal sitting in orange booths. read more

Horrible experience. First I went to second drive thru. After 3 cars proceeded thru the first drive thru line I yelled Hello, thinking it may be closed, someone finally spoke & finally I placed my order. It took ten plus minutes to get to the window after this just to pay. The girl asked my name and I paid. She's went back in and I continued to wait for 4 to 5 more minutes. She came back and asked me if I got my food and after I said no she asked my name again and went to check. After 4 more minutes she asked me to pull forward. After another 5+ minutes she came back to my window and asked yet again...what I ordered.. I told her again and after 5+ more minutes they finally brought this little lame cheeseburger.. This place is not worth the hype. Manager, train your people if possible. Work to make this a better , smoother experience. The food alone won't make it a success. It's just not that good. read more

The first attempt for this restaurant/slop house will be my last attempt. The food was extremely poor quality and since we had to order this, the order was not complete, thank goodness. It saved my wife from the irritation that I am presently suffering from. NEVER AGAIN CRAPBURGER!!!!! read more

The slowest experience of fast food. We just ordered a shake. She took our order at the drive through intercom then forgot what we ordered when we pulled up. A 25 minute wait for a shake is unacceptable. This place is the slowest place to get your food at for a fast food restaurant. read more

This was the first time trying Whataburger. Unfortunately it was the slowest fast food service I've even been to.

Wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Went for dinner. Price was acceptable for the meal. Hamburger was good. However, the employees seemed more concerned about talking to one another than taking care of the customers waiting in line to order. When we were waited on, YaYa was very courteous when taking our order. read more
