Food was good but the wait for drive through was 30+ minutes. I was only the second person in line and inside their only few people. The guy at the window was very sweet. I only ordered a plane cheese burger and fries and for it to take that long is crazy. Maybe the managing team needs to find more productive ways to make the food or hire more people. read more

We waited 20 minutes in the drive-thru waiting for the food we ordered. There was no one at the first window and there was another car in front of us that was also waiting, possibly longer than 20 minutes. When I went inside asking what was taking so long, there were 3 teenagers all standing at the cash register twilling there thumbs like there weren't several cars all waiting in the drive-thru. An older gentalmen went up to one of the teen boys who was wearing the drive-thru head set, took it off him then went to take over the drive-thru duties. The car in front of us decided to no longer wait for there food and pulled away and so did we. Worst Location EVER!!! read more

I'll start off by saying that I love Wharaburger... definitely one of my favorite fast food restaurants And this low rating is only for this specific location... I live around the corner from this location and have been here many times and have never really had a positive experience. The service is always slow, they rarely get my order right, and the employees are not friendly. Today's visit was no different. I waited in the drive through line for almost 20 minutes and only had 5 cars in front of me. Bobbi, the lady working the window was rude, she didn't even say hello when I drove up and seemed annoyed that she had to be working. My food was cold - very cold... my order was wrong - wrong drink, wrong sandwich. Not the first bad experience and probably not the last. Ordered a #5 with (horrible looking bacon) & a dr. Pepper drove around waiting on drive thru to move along (that happens) only to get to window, pay & then I'm told they're out of dr. Pepper do I want something else. After I look all depressed I get the following reason why they're out of dr. Pepper. No one will go back to change it out. And it's been that way for over an hour. So not only do I have to deal with cold food (barely like warm) but a coke & not a dr. Pepper. Guess I won't be coming back. read more

I entered the line today at 8:55. By 9:14 I was still sitting in line waiting. I saw an employee on their phone outside and someone bringing stuff in and out but it took over 25 minutes for me to be in line in the drive through and at 9:25 I finally had to just leave because when I got up to the window no one was there, my drink was on the counter but without the food, and I waited for 3 minutes at the window with my cash in hand waiting for someone to come serve me. Additionally, the car before me took 8 minutes to get their food after they paid. I ended up not getting my food because it took them over 30 minutes. As a result, I was late to work which was 4 minutes away. This is by far the worst fast food experience I've ever had and I didn't even get to the food part. read more

Jesus...what takes so long! Last I checked, fast food is iconic for being fast, or at the very least reasonably timed. It was 11:45pm and not a soul in sight other than 1 car behind me. We waited, and I kid you not, 36 FREAKING MINUTES FOR A BURGER!!! I could have raised, butchered and cooked my own in that time! I'll start by saying that I enjoy Whataburger and I eat it often because I get off work late. However- this location IS NEVER worth going to. This is by far the worst location I've been to. The burgers are always wrong, fries are cold, drinks are wrong and you will always be waiting a minimum of 15 minutes even if you're the only one in line. Tonight my boyfriend and I decided to give it one more try because it just REOPENED. This Whataburger was shut down temporarily to be remodeled and fixed. When we got home to take our food out of the bag, my boyfriend found A BETTLE at the bottom of our food bag. I'm so disgusted and disappointed because we live .8 miles from here. But I'd rather drive the extra miles to Euless or Grapevine Mills to have fresh, bug free dinner. We will not be returning and I have taken pictures to pursue these issues. read more

Consistently the worst service ever. I should stop going here and just drive dow to the Grapevine Mills location because they have it together!! Food is always overcooked or prepared bad. Orders take forever and people that work here look like well they don't want to be here. Can't say that about other location because they are always happy and just glad to be there. I came 10min before 3am on Saturday 07/28/2019. One of the employee said it's closed. When I asked in the website it said 3am as well as in door too. He replied WE ARE CLOSED. Then I asked him to call for his manager. He said manager is busy what I want. I saw everyone has a name tag apart from him. When I asked him for his name. His reply was because he doesn't know personally that why he cannot tell me the name. Terrible customer service. Being local here in grapevine I'll try my best to avoid this place. I cannot believe I am leaving a poor review of Whataburger. The place was busy but not full nor typically busy. The food took 15 minutes, which is fine because it is always perfect and piping hot. Tonight, after skipping lunch and my normal dinner hour to go see a band, I came in eager for the #7. Well, beyond slow, the food was cold...refrigerator cold. The food was fresh! What I liked best was the food was made fresh. You could tell they literally made when you ordered it so we had to wait a little bit. I didn't like the wait but I would exchange that for fresh food any day! Also, My soda was straight syrup and very flat so I actually ended up throwing it away. read more

Absolutely tired of being disappointed by this location and honestly just about any Whataburger I go to nowadays. I have issues every single time I go to a Whataburger and it's ALWAYS been that way. Order is wrong almost every time, they never read special instructions on mobile orders and I wait AT LEAST a half hour or MORE every time and I get terrible service about half of the time. Whataburger is more expensive which I used to be fine with because they always had better food. This past time, they didn't even bother to separate the tomato slices on my burger (so it was like just biting out of a half of a tomato....) gave me a barely half full container of onion rings when I paid extra for them and left things off of my wife's order completely. Another occasion, i sat behind the counter waiting for a good 15-20 minutes JUST FOR FRIES on an order that I had purchased in the drive thru and had to go park my car, get out and come walk into the restaurant (which has happened many times and I'd already waited for half an hour in that drive thru and completely defeats the purpose of even having a drive thru at all) and as I sat waiting and waiting and waiting, I watch employees snacking on fries doing nothing with tons of orders on the screen and while I (a customer who's already paid and only received half a meal and all I needed was a medium fry to get out the god-forsaken building) have been at the counter for more time than I'd spend in any fast food chain altogether. I used to be proud to call Whataburger my favorite "fast" food chain, being a native Texan and all. But there's nothing fast, courteous or accurate about it. And before you say "what do you expect, it's fast food," I mean for $15 just eating for two, I could get faster service, better food and do business with employees who don't act like I personally ruined their lives for ordering food if I went to literally ANYWHERE ELSE. Might as well just go to a real full-service restaurant, but if I wanted to spend that much time and money, I wouldn't have come here in the first place. You've lost a lifelong customer for good, Whataburger. During the day...OK. At night this is one of the worst fast food establishments run not just in Grapevine, but throughout the DFW area!! I couldn't believe I hadn't reviewed Whataburger, what was wrong with me? Back as a kid, before the telephone and running water (whatever), there was Whataburger. In this part of Texas, Whataburger was the place to get a fresh cooked burger. Sure, McDoodles, Jack, and others were around then, but Whataburger made the no nonsense burger and fries back then, and today they still taste pretty much the same. Fries are frozen, who cares, because unless some idiot lets them cook to long they're always great. Burgers always taste fresh cooked, and unlike some places, they do actually make it like you ask for it. They were good back then, they're good now. I usually stick to cheeseburgers and fries, but when late or early I'll get taquitos, which are the best ones around. Taquitos are pricey, but I don't get them often so I suck it up an fork over the money for them when I do. And, if the food isn't good enough, Whataburger has the BEST FAST FOOD BRAND KETCHUP on the planet, and everyone I know who eats at Whataburger agrees. No repackaged Hines or whatever here, it's unique, and did I mention it's the best? If they sold it at the grocery store it's all I would buy. The spicy black top ketchup they had for a few months last year was equally great baby, but sadly, it's no longer available (whimper). The picante sauce for the Taquitos is every bit as good. I don't know how this miracle took place. But hey, it's a Texas institution, so maybe that answers the question. Anytime of day is a good time to go. You WILL wait between 20-25 minutes in the drive thru for whatever you get, even just a drink, terrible customer service, employees get mad when you ask them for as little as some napkins. They always forget one - many things from your order, and will bitch at you if you simply ask for what was missing, i love whataburger, but this is by far the worst whataburger i have ever been to and this is not one but every single expirience i've had with this one, you're WAY better iff by going to the one down the road by bass pro, trust me. read more
