    My almost forgotten coffee

Friendly upbeat staff. Clean inside and not overly crowded at lunch. I would eat here again. I would favor this location over the one in Kyle due to staff, cleanliness, and just had a better feel to it.

    ##12 Spicy Chicken Sandwich Whatameal

This location is genuinely horrible. I got a #12 with fries and the chicken is old, the fries are uncooked, and I went back to get the food remade because it was so disgusting. But guess what?! I got the same quality twice, and they took my receipt back so I can't even get a refund. I called and they hung up on me, thank you so much whataburger for ruining my food once again! I work in fast food and this is the worst service I've ever had!!!

IN NEW ORLEANS THIS WOULD BE AN AWARD WINNING breakfast taco - we have nothing like it at this price point. Great flavor for breakfast: $4.

GREAT LOCATION Let's face it, Austin's traffic is a disaster. Even as far south as Slaughter all eight lanes on the highway and 4 on the access roads can be at a stand still. At least for now this location, just two minutes south of Onion Creek is totally painless to get into on southbound I-35. Getting back north is just as easy when returning to the underpass via the backside of the shopping center. IN NOLA AN AWARD WINNING TACO The special breakfast taco I ordered (see pic) was better than I've eaten at any food festival or restaurant in New Orleans. The tortilla was fresh and grilled with those salty char spots dotted across the spine. When opened the steam from the moist chicken and grilled peppers was ripe with that pleasant cumin rich aroma. Delicious.

    Patty melt with NO onions.

Love Whataburger and this location used to be great. However, it has gone downhill. Expect to wait 20-30 minutes at the drive through for your food. This wasn't a one time thing, this happens every single time I've gone. Today my order was wrong. Clearly said no onions on my patty melt and it even shows on the receipt...yet here are the onions. Didnt get the gravy I ordered either. If I'm waiting for 30 minutes at a fast food restaurant and my order is wrong still, yall have a problem.

This place is consistently terrible. Order is wrong 9 out of 10 times. Always takes forever and the quality is well below average.

The soft drinks taste like slime! Every time! Something is growing in their drinks machine. Does anyone else notice this weird slime taste?

They got my order wrong and when I went back to get it fixed they gave me a half-assed sandwich as a replacement.

Decent fast food. The burgers are larger than other fast food competitors. They serve breakfast until 11am and the regular menu 24/7.

I noticed that it had great reviews and I was a little hungry, so I went over the menu and ordered what the cashier recommended. I ended up ordering 2 burgers! One for now and one for later because they looked amazing! I ordered the TX BBQ Burger, and the Chicken Jalapeño Ranch burger. One with fries and one with tots. When they came out the bag was heavy and once I opened the bag, the food looked amazing! The fries were delicious and crispy, and the BBQ burger was so juicy! Once devoured, I had to try a bite of the Chicken burger. It was huge and I barely to take a bite without making a mess, but once I sunk my teeth in it was amazing! The chicken was very juicy and the veggies were fresh! I highly recommend this place! And I hope to be driving by again to try other options!

You order at the counter and tables are set up inside. They serve tea, sweet and unsweet, but ice is served at the store fountain station. You have the option to purchase from the convent store but have to pay separately at the store counter. We would suggest the jalapeño ranch chicken sandwich, it has a spice level of a mild-medium. This was said to be one of the most popular. Another popular option was the Philly burger, we didn't enjoy it as much as it was missing flavor. Tatar tots were great, they also have fries. A tale of two visits. First one we've all experienced. Goto work; you're eventually driving around…read moredoing errands and you need a drink. I park into Zaxbys only to realize I've gone all day without my wallet. I'm about to inquire about tap to pay options using my cell phone (been years since I used it). Needed an update and I was about to walk out empty handed when an employee just hands me a large drink cup for free. Well, it was high time I returned (with a wallet) for an actual meal. Second trip I roll in and order the half tenders half boneless to go with a large drink. Head back to the truck and dig in. The boneless was nicely sauced and the tenders were fine with the provided dipping sauces. Sides, well there aren't many choices. Same as that Canes place. This unfortunately is happening too often in these chicken chains. Fries and slaw are fine but I want variety in sides so you don't go into boredom. Credit to Golden Chick for having AMAZING Dirty Rice. Popeyes for Red Beans and Rice. Fried Okra at Church's Texas Chicken. Extra star for the excellent service.

And if I'm not going back, chances are darn good that my wife isn't either. Zaxby's is on Old San Antonio Road in Buda in the midst of Fast-Food Franchise Row. Karen and I were trying this place for the first time in the two years we have lived in Turner's Crossing. The fast-food zone is very convenient to us, so it is often a last-minute destination. However, it wasn't the food that got my tighty whities in a bunch. I was flabbergasted after getting an order including wings slathered in barbecue sauce when we were told they were out of napkins. Did they expect us to wipe our fingers on our clothes? Or just lick them clean? The vinyl upholstery in the booths was beckoning, but I figured that was probably a bridge too far. An employee just shrugged her shoulders, basically wondering what we expected her to do. We told her to find some paper towels in the kitchen or refund our money and we'd go elsewhere. They found the paper towels. We also suggested that they warn customers about the lack of napkins BEFORE they order finger food covered with sauce. Food was edible but nothing to rave about. Karen had the veggie egg rolls. She finished them, but pronounced them nondescript. Certainly not worth a return visit. I had a combo plate of the nicely sauced wings and some pretty good chicken fingers. My bone-in wings were meaty and decent, but the chicken fingers and especially the fries were over-salted. Most of the chicken fingers came home with me for lunch tomorrow because I really enjoy that stuff cold too. There's also a limit to how much salt I can ingest at one sitting. The thick-cut fries were actually quite tasty, but after a few bites the salt just became overwhelming. Of course, our enjoyment may have been colored by the apparent lack of interest in paying customers. Also the decor was the most depressing of any fast-food place I have been to in the area.

I went in just hoping they'd put a salad in a wrap and they were so accommodating! The manager (I think) even confirmed each ingredient and suggested skipping the croutons which I agreed with. The wrap really hit the spot! Only small complaint was that they panini pressed the wrap which led to some limp lettuce- I didn't know the wraps would be pressed. But this was a small issue and the wrap was satisfying. The husband got a sandwich and said it was good though the bread was cut a little unevenly. All in all I'd come back for the great service alone.

The reviews were pretty positive so we figured why not give it a shot It was around 8 PM and the place didn't feel like it had been cleaned much. The person at the counter didn't seem super interested in helping. We asked a couple questions about the menu and they didn't really engage. Not rude but definitely not welcoming either. We split a beef quesadilla that came with guacamole and sour cream. Nothing complicated. Also grabbed a Mexican Coke. The food came out hot and it looked good. Super melty cheese and it smelled great. But the amount of grease made it hard to enjoy. We ate maybe three slices and packed the rest to go. Ended up tossing it at the hotel. Maybe other items are better and we just caught them on an off night. Not ruling it out completely but I'm not in a rush to go back.
