    Salmon. Too salty
    Cindy W.

Beautiful view but food over priced for what you get. The service wasn't great and they add the 22% tip on your bill. The salmon over toast was too salty. We got the dozen oysters and the menu did not list the price. Once the bill came, the oysters alone was $120. I am not cheap by any means but that was over the top. We will not be going back anytime soon.

Westward is a beautiful upscale spot right on the water -- perfect for soaking in those Seattle views. Both times I've been here I've sat at the bar and found the bartender super friendly and helpful. The oysters are incredibly fresh, the wine list is thoughtful and local, and every dish feels elevated without being pretentious. It's the kind of place where you can linger over a long meal and just enjoy the view- right over the lake! It's my go to first stop in the neighborhood and always excited to see their salad option, my favorite so far as been a decadent burrata. A must-visit for anyone who loves great seafood, good wine, and that classic Pacific Northwest vibe.

Guys, definitely a deck to find during beautiful Seattle weather! Steady stream of respectful SUP'ers dropping in right between Westward and Gasworks Brewing - lots of action to watch on the water. Lots of drop-in business but it looks like they take reservations as well. Waitstaff is AWESOME - everyone checking in you even if not your assigned server. The crab roll is a definite bell-ringer - very fresh and flavorful. I had the braised pork birria, which is a fun and light homage to chilaquiles. Also got recommendation on a selection from an extremely thorough oyster list and she brought me some bay water indigos which ate very clean and bright - I would highly recommend. View from three rows in on the deck under a bright umbrella of...umbrellas! Note: this is a Service Fee restaurant, and when I asked I heard that approximately 50% ends up with the staff. But sounds like they also get some pay-out during winter months when most a laid off until the weather turns. I chose to give a bit more (which goes 100% to staff) as a thanks for the attentiveness today. Also head's up - only like 5 parking spots on property - but a ton of back-in angle parking on the frontage road, Northlake Way.

Been coming here for years now given how close it is to our office. Great for drinks and perhaps a large volume of small dishes (even their "large" plates are tiny). High quality, but if you're hungry, you'll probably need to do a few rounds. Views and vibe are top notch, and service is excellent.

Sub-par experience accompanied with a great ambience and view. The food was okay, with the dill dip being a favorite of ours. The problem I have is with the pricing of the items. I generally do not have an issue as Seattle is an expensive city to dine however, the quality of food does not justify the price points of each respective item. Additionally, there is a 22% service charge added which does not include the tip amount. Overall, the food was average and pricing is quite absurd, but the view is certainly beautiful!

I love this restaurant, beautiful exterior and interior. Sunny weathers in Seattle always takes me back to this restaurant to have dinner by the water. They source the freshest seafood in town and I love all the rotating dishes they have on their menu. My favorite so far has been the seared halibut (cooked to perfection and the top is crispy - yum!). Service is phenomenal like always. Our server checks in from time to time to make sure we have wine in our glasses and I'm glad she knows her oysters! I told her I prefer the sweeter side of things, and she recommended a few that I absolutely loved.

Lovely view rain or shine. Parking could be a challenge during peak time and non happy hour menus can be quite pricy BUT the happy hour deals are great here and the service is top notch. I am not an oyster eater but my friends confirmed the oysters were good~ i liked their NA cocktail options as well because they actually resemble the taste and complexity of an actual cocktail. The potatoes, salads, dips and clams are all super delicious! I love the oyster candle stand that they have so much haha what a cute touch!

An amazing date night! So for those of you who do not know, Westward is one of the amazing restaurants in the family created by award winning chef Renee Erickson. (Personally i've made it my goal to visit them all, because they never disappoint) Here you'll find waterfront dining located on Lake Union with cozy beachside Adirondack chairs, a giant outdoor fire pit, and cheery picnic table styled dining. Perfect for a date night or dinner with friends. Obviously the menu is seafood themed with the star of the show (IMO) being the fresh, locally sourced oysters! Unless you have a choice of oysters I recommend the shuckers choice to try a variety. Also TIP *THE THAI CHILI SAUCE ON THE OYSTERS IS A GAME CHANGER* We tried a bit of everything (dont judge): hehe CHICKPEA FRITTERS: DELICIOUS moist creamy interior with a crispy outside. 10/10 DILL DIP: Very tart. I personally wasn't a fan, but the server graciously traded it out for the SPICY CLAM DIP which was 10/10 SEARED HALIBUT: ABSOLUTELY Devine 10/10 BEN'S BREAD: *SALTY* but delicious 8/10 And finally. The show stopper the BASQUE CHEESECAKE.....there are no words. Absolute heaven. Also highly recommend the "Les Fleurs" - an amazing cocktail with passion tea vodka. Ambiance 10/10 Service 10/10 Food 10/10 Drinks 10/10 Looking forward to visiting in the future for brunch!!!

Westward is hands down my favorite oyster spot in Seattle. From the presentation of plates, homemade vinaigrette, and hot sauce are meticulously crafted, making each bite a delight (although neither of the sauces are needed for the oysters). The view of downtown Seattle and Lake Union from the patio adds to the experience, and the diverse menu never disappoints--I've celebrated many occasions here. The only drawback is the pricing; a small ramekin of hot sauce costs $4, which feels a bit excessive. Still, Westward's quality and ambiance make it a standout dining experience.

Excellent food, excellent service, and excellent ambience! We had oysters, dill dip, clam dip, burgers, and crab rolls. Everything was great and Mario was an excellent server who provided us with great suggestions and a list of hot spots to visit!

When is the happy hour? What are the happy hour deals/prices please?

No deals at this place!!!! Tremendously over-priced and terrible menu. Don't consider it.

Are there options that are dairy free other than raw oysters?

    Is the outdoor patio dog-friendly?

Joy, I had my dog along and they were really nice about letting me have him sit with me on the patio with him. Of course, I went when they first opened to avoid it being too crowded. We pretty much had the patio all to ourselves for the most part.… Read more

    Is there parking at Westward?

Minimal parking in the Westward lot, but you can park along the road running in front of the restaurant. Note that there are people living along there in RVs, etc.

    Do they take walk-ins?

Yes. But if it's nice weather it might be a long wait. I went at 6pm on a Saturday with one friend...and we were seated immediately. Bigger parties might be more difficult to seat without a reservation.

What are their Happy Hour hours?

Drink specials, $2 oysters, small bites specials

Is the outdoor seating by reservation only?

    No first come first basis

You order at the front before being seated which means food arrives shortly after sitting down. With that noted, I wouldn't return to wait that long. First visit, to try a relatively famous spot, sure. Inside is a bit tight, but conversation can be had. My friends got the lumpia-silog and bistek-silog. Lumpia was tasty, but not particularly outstanding. Bistek was dry. The beef was tough to chew, seasoned alright on the outside but likely overcooked if not old. I opted for the oxtail silog which was delicious but pricey. Oxtail Silog - for $29, this plate definitely gets a double take. After waiting in the hour line, I figured I should commit for a tasty meal. Oxtail comes in a side bowl alongside a bit of hearty broth which the rice absorbs well. Meat is tender, falls off the bone, but pulling around oxtail bones isn't the simplest, so definitely have to bite around crevices. All in all, this plate was delicious but think it comes with a huge tourist tax I've had better value for oxtail plates. Ube Pancake Stack - four sizeable pancakes. Some pictures, including my own, don't do these justice. I can definitely get behind the hype. They're drenched in a rich ube sauce and there's plenty to go around. Honestly the ube flavor is present on the pancakes, but it feels relatively faint because the sauce is extremely sweet and flavorful, minimizing the pancake taste and expanding the gap between flavors. That being said, I think I would enjoy the pancakes with less sauce (or preferably, on the side).

They served the coffees with a little shortbread cookie, and these little details really elevated the whole experience. Also, the cappuccino was so foamy, and it hit the spot immediately. The breakfast menu was also fantastic. The TPC Breakfast plate included sausage, potatoes, bacon, bread, and some scrambled eggs. There also was an option to add Beecher's cheese on the eggs, and I'd say it was totally worth it. Most importantly, the Dutch baby was as good as they'd advertised.
