**AMAZING customer experience story**…read more The other day I came in looking for a pair of heavy-duty scissors to cut off a piece of plastic that was hanging down from my car making a terrible scraping noise. After a minute of wandering around, an employee, Patrick, asked if I was finding everything alright. I told him what I was looking for and why I needed them. He lead me to the scissors, none of them big or strong enough for what I needed. He asked if I had a utility knife. I said no. He then pulled his out and asked if we could go look at it together, and "maybe save me some money." He then proceeded to, in the 33 degree weather, crouch down to cut this super difficult piece of plastic off of my car for me!! He then explained to me what it was and even suggested his mechanic. It was literally so kind. Instead of just trying to sell me some cheap scissors that we both knew wouldn't work, he took time out of his day to help me with this, at no benefit to him. Y'all have gained a lifetime customer because of Patrick's amazing customer service. Thank you!

I've brought my pup in here as she continues to need some socialization and it always goes well. One time the clerks had their dog too and they became fast friends. This store really packs quite a bit into it. Of course it won't be as sizable as a Home Depot, but man oh man is the experience world's better. I found every single thing on my list which was great. It's closest size comparison to me would be the Ace in Westport, but hey guess what, you don't have to fear for your life in KC's worst intersection if you come here! It's easy to park in the lot out front, off of the always-busy 75th Street. My kids love it because they have a gumball machine, whoopie cushions, and other classics from back in the day when the world was making real attempts to be fun. I have a Lowe's card so you get a discount when you use it at every purchase, which is helpful. I don't care for the self check out areas whatsoever, but I don't like those in any store. Most of their plants are good quality, and I have not had problems with them dying like other stores plants that I've purchased. We did choose to have a very large window put in facing our backyard and another regular window from Lowe's. They contract out and while it got done and looks good there were just a few issues with that situation that would give the overall rating of four star.

We've now been without a washer for three weeks. Maytag service finally came out after two weeks and immediately determined it needs a new motherboard and additional parts, which will take another week and a half to arrive. Overall, a very disappointing experience with both the product and the service timeline.

Thursday we were told a new one would be in by the following Monday and we could swap it out. Monday when we called to see if it was in we were told the new owners were not honoring old warranties. No call to notify us while she waited in her hot house for 5 days. Michael the manager and Vicky the purchaser pointed fingers at who dropped the ball and there was nothing the owners would do to help us. Horrible customer service. My father while alive spent all his time shopping at this store and this is how they treat long term customers. You lost our business and anyone else that will listen to how you treated our family.
