I don't often go and get my nails done due to most of the places that I've been to, the technicians does my nails so sloppy and careless. But since I have a wedding to be in, I had no choice but to get my nails done. So, I decided to try this spot at Westgate with my mother. This is my first time here at Westgate Nails and Spa and this is actually the first nail salon that took their time to make my nails as perfect as perfect can be. Bobby was the technician that did my get full set and every detail was important to him and i LOVE that! No other nail technicians ever taken better care of me like Bobby did. I also had my first gel pedicure and it was great as well. My mom also got a gel pedicure and a gel manicure by another person and she was so nice. She took great care of my mother. The staff are nice and welcoming as you walk in. Liam, the manager is very friendly and accommodating. He asks my mother and I if we would like bottles of water while we gotten our nails done. And I've noticed he would ask the other guests that while they wait to get their nails done as well. You can earn points each time you come in as well, which i think is a neat idea. I will definitely come back. This has been a great experience and from now on, I will have my nails done more often thanks to this place. read more

But we were sat on different sides. Then when we request to sit next to each other we are very rudely told this isn't possible because of "stations". And they are going back and forth with each other and eventually move me next to my friend. Then I request to have acrylic done, they become rude again and say they are unable to do it on that side of the room. And I would have to move. The whole demeanor was quite rude. Westgate Nails does a wonderful job taking care of their customers. I have been a customer for 3+ years and I've always been satisfied with every service. Tam is a very wonderful caring manager. All of her employees are so friendly. I've taken my mom here on her birthday to get a pedi and mani and my mom was so pleased with her nails. My mom is a picky person and she definitely will be coming back here. She really needed the paraffin service for her dry cracked hands and feet and fell in love with the service. Decided to give them a second try since they last time they were rude. Let me tell you nothing has changed the second I walked in I wasn't greeted the guy just looked at me I told him I wanted nail enhancement and powder when another man immediately started chiming in so no your nails are to short we can't do that. I walked in with a few chipped nails so I decided to get acrylic coat so it made my nails sturdier well they left them far too thick and short. Did not leave this place satisfied. I don't mind paying a price for something that I actually like but save your money and time rather than coming here. I went during my lunch hour so I just got a gel manicure. All of the staff were very kind and courteous! As I mentioned, I am very picky when it comes to my nails however- Lisa was able to do exactly what I wanted and she was so sweet and patient with me!! We arrived a few minutes late for phase 4 pedicures. We were greeted with a friendly smile and escorted to our seats. We received great service and equally great enjoyable relaxing pedicures. We had a long night the night be fore and it totally put us in the right frame of mind for the rest of our day. Being a bit slow (hungover) we had left our tickets back at the hotel and as we Ubered to westgate the last thing we wanted to do was uber back. Tam very kindly printed our tickets out (after joking around about how nice it was we bought her tickets to see Amy Schumer) and saved us the immense hassles of a round trip uber fare. I always go to Kate! She's amazing and so sweet. She really knows how to make me feel comfortable. Every appointment I have a new nail design I show her and she goes above and beyond. She'll add her own little touch to my nails to make it look better than the design I originally wanted. Kate is extremely detailed with her work as well. I have been going here for a year . I came in on Tuesday. They weren't busy at all. It was me and another customer inside . The girl who did my pedicure did one nail bluntly crooked and the polish was overly applied. My nail was goopy . I asked her 3 times to please fix it and she kept cleaning up. When I waited for her to come out from the back and asked if she could fix it . I asked her and she begin to fix it . Another girl came out, (the girl who sits right behind the check out desk) came out and took over aggressively. As they were talking in another language, laughing as she fixed it rudely. I'm not sure why they think I am naive or why disrespect is necessary ever .. My SNS Gel manicure was horrible . My nails were crooked and way too long . I asked for a file down and to fix the tips because the seal was bumpy . Bobby began to question why it was etc ... They were giving me hard time about fixing them . I pay about $70 for my nails . Any paying customer should leave satisfied and any business should care about their customers satisfaction . I paid and won't be coming back here ever again . read more

First, I was visiting and had gotten to this area around 3:30.. I went to a movie at 4:30 and decided to get my nails done afterwards. It was 7:10pm and I called to see if they could take me in , since it was a little late in the evening. The owner told me to come on over.. It was a very short walk.. I was visiting from CA, and since the nails salons are still closed in Cali. I called several places, and it was only appointment based or wait 3 to 4 hours. He had initially scheduled me for 1:30 and I asked if he had any sooner. They said can you be here in 10 mins. Thankfully they were able to assist my mom and I. My daughter and I were in town for the Taylor Swift concert and decided to get our nails done. we were thrilled when they said they could accommodate us with only a ten minute wait. We decided to have the Eras manicure done which involves a different color on each nail. They didn't charge me extra for this so I decided I would leave the technicians a larger than normal tip for this annoying ask. The technician who did my nails was amazing and did a wonderful job. She was sweet and welcoming. The low score is due to the technician who did my daughter's nails. She was horrible. She had a nasty attitude and complained about having to stay and do my daughter's nails the entire time. We paid extra to have her nails made oval shaped, but she did a terrible job. When she applied the acrylic on the extensions, she placed it on my daughter's cuticle. While applying the gel polish she complained to my daughter about all the different colors telling her it was stupid, dumb, etc. My daughter is a young teen and didn't know how to handle this. She was so upset by it that she did not tell me until the next evening. Had I known about the technicIan I would not have allowed her to continue working on my daughter's nails. I'm back in my home state so there isn't anything the salon can do to make this right, but perhaps a lesson in customer service to that technician would be a good idea. read more

Absolutely horrible. I showed my nail tech a picture of what I wanted and I got something different. I showed him the picture again and completely ignored me. TWICE. He left my "ombre" messy, uneven, and streaky. He also did not provide any cuticle care and left a huge gap. My nails overall are an embarrassment. Also, my mom got her nails done there and they left it messy and one of her nails were ruined and they didn't bother to fix it. I walked-in for a fill for my nails. They cut my hands six times, no conversation, and the nail polish job is awful. The paint is splotchy, uneven, and doesn't cover the entire nail. I needed to show off my new ring as I am recently engaged, but I had to tell people not to look at my nails since they were so bad. The nail tech had me put my nails in front of the fan to dry, but the paint bubbled and slid when I did it. She then yelled at me for putting them in front of the fan. She asked me to!! The only reason I'm giving two stars is that the prices were cheap. But you get what you pay for. I would not return. read more

There good service and work turned into a horrible one. I went in for a fill and pedi.. The pedi was going great, I asked for a French, once she started doing the line was when there was a problem. They weren't straight and some where way too thin. I got a fill done and I had a design I mind that I wanted I showed the man, Henry, what I wanted he said he was able to do it the design was clearly glitter and he kept insisting that it was studs. When he made the "heart" shape stud I informed him that the shape was a little off. He tried to fix it but ended looking worse and nothing at all like my picture. Never waste your time! Rude staff! I came was about to spend over $48 on a pedicurei ask for French and the mail tech states he cannot do it with regular polish only gel! I am 42 and I've been getting my nails done forever and I always have my French pedi/mani done with regular polish. I hate gel it ruins your natural nails! He was rude trying to up sell me and said he can only do it with gel polish not regular polish. Please hire staff that can polish nails with regular nail polish. read more

I'm disappointed with my experience here. I called ahead to make an appointment asking for a natural nail manicure with regular paint and a simple design. However, when I got there, they told me they couldn't do what I asked for, even though my natural nails are acrylic length. I had to settle for something I did not want.
