Manicure and pedicure were requested. My fingernails starting hurting and was out of town. I went into nail salon to have my gel removed on fingers. They had nail fungus on all. It has been a month and still horrible. I had pedicure redone and some of my toes are also infected. Horrible! read more

I used to do to this place all the time having Kim, the owner doing my nails. The last time I went there I was so taken advantage of. I had an appointment but she decided I wasn't as important as others and kept helping others while maybe doing my nails. It took 2 hours. I should have left in the middle of it all but u didn't because I was very loyal to the shop but no more. There are maybe two people at the shop who do good nails and others not that good at all. I would suggest looking for a different place. There are so many nail salons everywhere. There are more nail salons than circle k anymore. read more

I came here for the first time and the service was really good! We walked in and sat down for a few minutes until the lady was done with her other client. I showed her what I wanted and she got straight to it. She worked so hard on the design, she kept wiping it off then re-painting it because she wanted it to be perfect. After they were done and looking so beautiful they rubbed oils on my hands and a nice man came and took sane pictures. As people walked by everyone was stopping at her table and saying how beautiful my nails looked!! They look exactly like the picture except of the pink line above the French tip because I asked her not to do that part. The nails weren't shaped right and 2 nails came off on the first day of work. 75th McDowell were I get my nails done and my nails never came off. She did the complete opposite of my design as well. I was so upset. My line up of my nails were so off and I'm embarrassed of my nails everywhere I go. I honestly wouldn't recommend anyone to come here if you want a beautiful design. Run! Run away and do not come in, especially as a walk in. It was discouraging to see a sign when I walked in that they take appointments only. I almost walked out but yet they were able to take me. I used to come to this location often when I lived in this area and never had any issues and actually recommend this location to a few people, especially for eyebrows. And let me tell you, I am VERY picky on my eyebrows. I happened to be in the neighborhood so I figured I'd stop by. I asked for black gel nail polish and when she started painting it was coming out completely see through and when I questioned it she said it's because she needed to do more layers. She then said something to the lead nail tech who then began talking about me to her customer like as though I'm not sitting right there. The lady had to do 3 coats for it to look black. After she completed painting my nails I noticed the bottle said black SHADOW!!!!! No wonder it was coming out see through!!!! Then the same lady did my eyebrows. In the 20 years I've been going to get my eyebrows waxed I have NEVER had someone hurt me. This lady stabbed me a few times with the tweezers and I swear on everything right before she finished she grabbed a chunk of my eye brow with the tweezers and pinched and pulled as hard as she could. I knew she drew blood when she kept wiping it too! I'm so mad right now. I'm honestly considering contacting the state board because who knows if the tweezers are sterilized. So now I'm sure I have someone else's germs in my eye and the next person will have my blood. read more

I paid $35 plus tip for this... (they make you tip) it was not even gel polish just regular. I was not happy paying for the bad service but they won't do anything to try and fix it. It's just easier to leave and pay. read more

First time coming here and I would return. I made an appointment for 10:30 and they were ready and waiting for my friend and I. They have several pedicure packages to choose from and I got the #2 and it along with my French polish cost me $30. The ladies were nice and friendly and everything appeared clean. I got my nails done here a few times. The wait is always FOREVER. The first time, I absolutely loved them. Lily did amazing. The next time I wanted to go short and narrow for a more natural look. I had a badly torn nail and couldn't clip it off myself so I ran in Darian's and and she asked her pedicure client if she could wait one minute and came over and clipped it for me. This is the perfect spot to go and relax while getting a mani/pedi. The nail technicians are not over bearing here which I love.. they don't push any extra scrubs or rubs or flowers & designs. You simply tell them what you would like when you sit down and they get to work. I've been going here for years but recently the service has really gone down. My last two pedicures were done by a new guy who really needs more experience. I definitely did not get what I paid for. I did a gel manicure and she painted the gel on my cuticles which meant as my nails grew out the gel was sticking up and catching on things. When I went in yesterday I stood there for several minutes and no one ever acknowledged me much less asked how they could help. I ended up leaving. Definitely not the usual service for Darian's. I have come here a few times, even under the previous ownership and was pleasantly surprised with the last visit. I had a younger guy do my pedicure and he was very polite and thorough. And the atmosphere was professional. However, on today's visit, I had an older lady do my pedicure and she kept complaining to her co-worker that my legs were too short. Oh wait, I did not mention that I understood Vietnamese. She did not once ask me to scoot closer or tried to bring the massage chair forward. I could deal with that bc I have been called fat and other worse things before in other places. However I had my 5 year old son with me today and he was getting restless. He started asking me random questions just for the heck of it. He asked me "mom, why are you sitting in that chair?" One of the ladies that worked there felt the need to say in Vietnamese "why is that boy being so dumb?" I was so mad I wanted to yell back at them in Vietnamese but I did not want to cause a scene in front of my son. I gave them 3 stars for the previous experiences, but I will not be coming back anymore. FYI if it feels like they are talking about you in Vietnamese, they probably are. There are several things wrong with this nail salon. First, they let people leave and come back so even if you have been sitting here for a 30 min waiting someone that just walked in can go before you. (I understand an appointment is an appointment, but the ladies said that this was their second time back because the wait was to long. Well I am sitting here waiting. I didn't realize there was a fast pass for nails.) Second, I had to ask TWICE for them to make my water to made warm. The first time it was cold, then they added hot water to make it lukewarm, Finally they decided to drain it. And then added scalding hot water. To what? prove a point? Nice customer service. Not to mention that once I was put into the chair I sat there without being checked on, after the water was finally warm, for 20 min (that's a total wait time of 30 min in the chair, and 30 min wait time at the front of the house). This to me is sub par business practices, if you are not ready to take a client then don't put one in a chair. The women that did my pedicure was polite and even thanked me for waiting, note this was not the women that got my chair ready for me with the cold water and then took three times to get it to be warm. The pedicure was good, nothing to write home about, but it If it's empty I say go in, if there is a wait don't bother. read more

I went here because I recently moved close by, and the reviews were great. Sadly, Im very dissapointed in my Gel Manicure, and Pedi. I asked her to fill in the sides of my entire nailbed. She only did that on one nail. I can see through the paint on my fingers and toes. She was super sweet, but I am unhappy. Never offered a design either. I used to live close but now I am about 12 miles away and there are 100 nail salons closer but I drive to this one. I love it here. My mom and I always go together when she is here for the snowbird season. Prices are great and so is the service. No matter who does my nails, they are fantastic. Their pedicures cannot be beat! They got new chairs and the massage on them is good and when you get the #6 pedi, when they say extra long massage they mean it! Other places totally short you in this but not Darian's.
