We had Aeroseal, duct cleaning and other Heat Pump cleaning done. Roy, Matt and Alex were professional and very meticulous. They explained as they completed each task. Printed out a data sheet of before and after airflow. It showed we were basically air conditioning and heating the attic because of all the duct gaps. After the Aeroseal it showed virtually no gaps. We should be seeing a reduced electrical expense. Also there is a tax deduction on the cost. Highly recommend them!!!! read more

Please call some other local company. Do not use this company. I called this "home service" 24 hr repair at 2pm and explained that my AC needed the wiring looked at and an emergency thunderstorm was coming in 3 hrs. The dispatch person said they could come look at in around 3 or 4pm. The technician (Roy) was actually very kind and professional but could not make it until 5pm and called to tell me that the weather was too bad. He said he could call into the dispatch and put me in his first time slot. Ok but the next morning at 6:30am when I began trying to use their automated system to ask for a confirmation of the "roll-over time appointment" everyone gave me a different answer. Most important take away that they will not tell you: if any of their "regular customers with maintenance accounts" call needing help, they bump your time slot and you will wait for hours with no update, no text just a lot of wasted time. They will give you a time, but it will never be that time. In a time period when we can text anyone an update, most other companies have figured out how to do better. read more

Update to my previous post, the technicians were out the next afternoon and were able to get the system working perfectly! They spent an extra hour or so...till 8PM, to ensure every setting was perfect per factory settings. I am very pleased with the results. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They are CROOKS!!! They refused to give me an itemized invoice for my labor charges. They wanted $750 to install a module that takes less than 2 hours. Andrea in the office was rude and condescending. I finally spoke to Tony who is the GM and now I see why his employees are allowed to be unhelpful and have horrible customer service. He told me my labor charge was a flat rate and he couldn't and wouldn't break down what I was paying for. They also tried to sell me a "labor warranty" for $1800. My Tech, Roy, was a nice guy, but I'm completely convinced he tried to hose me on this job. IT'S COMPANIES LIKE THIS THAT MAKE PEOPLE SO UNTRUSTING. read more

Finally had my air conditioner break and found Western States Home Services through Yelp. They tried to repair my existing unit but ultimately I decided to have them install a new one. They did an outstanding job and I couldn't he happier. They were professional, on time and charged me exactly what they said they were going to. Excellent service. Yes, we were notified of a 3 hour window for service but that is standard with service contractors. The service agent diagnosed our cooler and discovered several issues. They send their comprehensive final assessment on email to include photos. I did not have an experience with this company so I got a second opinion. Turns out they were correct with their diagnosis and they also offered a more reasonable rate to repair. Repairs were done by their friendly service rep. Expeditiously plus, he took the time to spot check our ceiling furnace. With this experience, I highly recommend this company. read more

This is a very DISHONEST company with HORRIBLE customer service. Basically they had tried to give me the wrong, cheaper and lower model Carrier AC unit initially for a higher price and only after I disputed the transaction with my credit card company did they finally agreed to install the right unit (per our contract) but very hastily and never did a final walk through or showed us how to maintain the system or clean the filter. Fast forwarded 7 months later when I tried to use the AC again, it was blowing out hot air and I wonder if they even installed it properly in the beginning. When they came to diagnose the problem they blamed us saying that the compressor blew because we never clean the filter and made us pay $1280 for an extended labor warranty before they would install another compressor for us, even though we are still under warranty, and also took our old compressor "because it's the company's policy". I reluctantly agreed but I said ONLY if it's with Carrier like what the technician Mike had promised, because I don't want to deal with this type of FRAUDULENT company any longer, especially not for 10 years. Because I don't trust them, I called Carrier after the installation to confirm my extended labor warranty with them but as I expected Carrier said that they have no record of me and that WSHS is not even their distributor. LIES AFTER LIES, all they want is QUICK MONEY. I'm surprise they are still in business with their horrible service and exaggerated price without any accountability. I'm planning to take them to court and explain everything to the judge. I've also called my credit card company and disputed the transaction. Please do your research and check their reviews especially the bad reviews because you may avoid being in my situation causing unnecessary stress and headache. read more

Run away as fast as you can! Absolutely the worst experience with a contractor EVER!!!! This four month long story involves full payment in April without installation until August. The installer determined the project wasn't up to "code" (The city says it is!) and ordered hundreds of dollars worth of additional materials. Then the installer solicited for additional non-contract work to bring the project up to code. Which had I fallen for it would have rendered the project out of code. This review is only the tip of the iceberg. DO NOT trust this company! My nightmare is ongoing don't let them create one for you. read more
