It may look small in this picture, but compared to the other two shops in the same building.. it ain't!

Talk about waiting for the last minute, or more like I didn't have time till Saturday and a family members car needed some brand new front brakes as it was giving that grinding metal noise. Well now it was lunch time on the Saturday and it was raining hard on this gloomy day.. and nobody likes to go find a place to go fix their car..... and even when you go to places to go fix your car, it's never fun, kinda like going to the doctor or dentist.... but for your car.. your just their for the nasty ride. So when I found this place and it was nearby my uncle's place.. and the Yelp app showed it to be open I gave it a shot, knowing that it was a glaring full five fire alarm stars, let's see what this place was about. When I pulled up, it's a place that is located in a building that has two other auto repair shops.... the only thing, this one was busy, the other two.... not so much. I didn't know where the office was, but once stepping through the garage doors there was hip-hop blaring out of the speakers, and it wasn't just background music, it was music, every verse, lyric, everything, even the @#$# bombs coming straight out, it was a fun type atmosphere for the techs that are working here, and for someone like me... it kinda gets you relaxed. I got to the back office and met with the man that was running the show. He asked what I needed, and I asked him.. seriously.. do you have time, he said to leave the keys.. and they will find a slot to fix my brakes. So I left the golden chariot to his boys to look at while I ended up doing other things instead of just waiting at the shop. Vimal eventually rang me up, told me the problem, and before they even worked on the car, gave me options. He was very clear as to what the price of things were and told me everything, breaking (braking) it down.... he also gave me an ETA when I would get the beast back. In a business that's so hard to please the client and usually when you come to these places it's not due to your own free will, the people here are great, the prices are fair, the service and attitude is excellent... thrown in a hip-hop vibe I don't know really what else to say... but the fact that now I know a place where I can go to, and tell others as well. I do know other places, and I decided to give this one a try, and if you are around this neighborhood give Vimal a call, let him and his boys look at your ride and see why these guys.. in his words.. are never busy! Thanks again.. will be back.. probably for an oil change!

Had a very disappointing experience at this shop. I came in for a second opinion based on proximity…read moreand positive reviews, but ultimately left with a very bad impression. I initially came in for an oil change and asked the owner / owner's son, Riaz, to check a few items while the car was on the hoist: the belt drive, control arms, brake fluid, and brake pads. I was completely fine paying for an inspection, and he mentioned it would be easy to check since the car was already lifted. After the oil change, I was told that all of the above items needed attention. Based on his recommendation, I authorized the brake fluid service and belt drive replacement. The old belt was never shown to me after replacement. Regarding the brakes, I was told--both verbally over the phone and in writing on the invoice--that the brake pads were 1 mm in the front and 3 mm in the rear, and that they needed to be replaced ASAP. I found this odd and questioned it, but he doubled down and assured me this was accurate. I was quoted $550 per axle, trusted the assessment, and agreed. I was also given labor quotes for the work and asked to return once I purchased the pads and control arms. The labor pricing was on the higher side, though still lower than the dealership. The parts took about a week to arrive. Once the parts came in, I called around and found another shop that beat their pricing, so I dropped the car off there instead. Midway through the day, the new shop called me to ask whether I actually wanted to replace the rear brake pads, because they measured 6-7 mm remaining and didn't understand why they were being replaced at all. I have never experienced an auto shop calling to confirm work because they believed it was unnecessary and unreasonable. That alone speaks volumes. I returned to Amin's to see if they would make things right. When I first called, I was told, "What do you want us to do? The manager isn't here and won't be back for six weeks." After pushing back, I was told to come in and discuss it. When I arrived, Mr. Amin was extremely confrontational and stated that they "only eyeball the brake thickness." I explained that I came to their shop specifically for a professional opinion, and that I had written confirmation from their invoice stating the rear pads were 3 mm, which was clearly not the case. Had I not chosen to source my own parts, I would have been charged $1,100 for brake work that was not needed. I was ultimately told to "get lost and sue me if you want." There was no attempt to resolve the issue, no accountability, and no professionalism. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop. im out money for parts and labor which i never needed.

I explained I already picked up the belt from GM and didnt need to purchase the belt from them. They said they could not do the work, having to leave Vancouver to head back North I started to call around. I found John from Gord's Auto repair. He not only got me in right away but his cost for doing the labour work was less than any shop I called. He had no problem putting on a GM Belt bought from the dealership. Thanks John and staff for an outstanding job. Will see me in the future when I am down your way once again. Thanks Brian

This auto repair shop used to be located closer to Olympic Village, but now is on Clark Drive. The service and price over the years have been beyond outstanding! Steve and John are friendly, courteous, and very knowledgeable in anything related to cars. They will give you advice when your unsure and it is always on point. When I even had a question related to changing the battery on my car fob, they were their to help. Another thing I like is that you are just dealing with one person. The service and price to fix your car is very reasonable and they don't overcharge. Other places are compartmentalized so your always redirected to another department before you even get to the repair shop and you don't ever talk to the actual person who knows cars. There isn't a big lot to park your car, but when I go there, I normally just park on the side street. I definitely will come back to this place in the future!
