Working with Garry at WestCo Rooter has been the best experience I've ever hard with a contractor. Communication has been excellent, with constant updates & photos sent via text, such that I've never wondered what was going on with our project. When embarking on something as major as having a sewer line replaced, requiring permits from two different city agencies, it was such a relief to find a contractor that was able to handle everything in a confident & competent manner, and explain everything and provide enough detail so that we could understand what was being done and why. A schedule was set and strictly adhered to, and the work was done quickly and efficiently. I couldn't recommend hiring WestCo any more wholeheartedly! read more

Garry showed up in the late afternoon on a Saturday, same day, and got my tub clog squared away PDQ! Very helpful, friendly, communicative and even wore those little blue booties in the house so he wouldn't track in anything from outside. Can't recommend Garry and Westco highly enough! Thanks guys! read more

Garry has been my go to plumber for quite a few years now. He is honest, professional, knowledgeable. A pleasure to have him come out and help with replacing water heater, garbage disposal, and willing to answer any questions. Just all around great. Money well spent. read more

My wife and I were really glad we went with Westco Rooter. One of our 50 year old pipes finally broke and we decided it was time to replace all sewage pipes. Gary and Ivan were very professional and explained the protect very well. The price was very fair. They were punctual and got the job done in 2 days. Great work!! I will definitely recommend Westco Rooter! read more

Garry has been our go to plumber for over 5 years and he has come through for us again! We had to have our sewer line replaced and he was professional ,honest and did a top notch job from start to finish. We couldn't have been happier with a job well done! I also want to compliment his crew that worked along with Garry for doing a great job! read more

Had the best experience with this company, they were Very professional, on time, fast response, respectful. They had to break through a wall, put in a clean out, hydro jet the pipe, fix the horrible job that someone else did. Everything looks and works great. I found my Plummer's for life! And they smell good too!! Thank you again, Garry, Ivan and Jacinto for an amazing job. read more

If I could find more stars to give, it would be my honor to award them to Westco, a truly amazing customer-first company who's owner and employees go above and beyond to take care of the people who hire them. Westco is the epitome of the kind of personal and invested service a small company can provide over hired help from a large, indifferent chain. Owner and plumber, Gary, works to achieve the best ultimate outcome for clients. He exhibits honesty, talent, and kindness, and he's assembled a staff that display a similar work ethic and care for their customer's concerns. From when I first called about my leaky kitchen faucet through what turned out to be an extensive concealed flood to ultimately needing to demolish my kitchen and adjoining rooms, Westco expertly handled every step of the process with professionalism, consideration, and reliability, basically holding my hand through the entire process. My primary contact, Nicole, both addressed and anticipated my concerns. She came over at least once a day, always called beforehand and to check-in, walked me through the details of what to expect, dealt with my insurance company to ensure maximum coverage, coordinated with my insurance company's third party pack-out provider (who I'm now so grateful I did not hire to do the water restoration work!), helped fix the mistakes of other providers, thought about details like reducing my dog's stress during the work, and was my rock. Whenever a plumbing issue or question arose, Nicole called Gary, the owner, who usually (impressively) came over immediately to resolve the problem. I can't imagine how much worse this mini disaster would have been without Westco. read more

This is the second time we have had Westco out. The first was several years ago to completely replace our drain system, from under our house out to the city line. They did such a good job that I called again when our washing machine drain plugged recently. Garry came out quickly on a Friday afternoon, snaked out the drain and gave it a 3 month warranty. He is a very pleasant guy to work with. Can't recommend him too highly. read more

Amazing after service!! Garry did work on one of our properties a few years ago. There was some issues with it recently. I texted him at 10:30 today, he sent someone out and took care of it ALL by 4:30. What GREAT service is that! And that's very hard to find lately. Thanks Garry!! read more

Excellent service Thank you to Gary for showing up as promised and fixing the plumbing issues for a very reasonable price and Nichole for following up and showing up every morning to monitor the moisture during the restoration And working around my schedule. I greatly appreciate all the help and highly recommend this company The are the one to call read more

Amazing service from Ivan and Gary! Have had two separate emergencies and they fixed both right away and for a great price. Will definitely call them anytime I have a plumbing problem. read more

Garry is awesome. He beat other plumbers quotes by at least 50 dollars in most cases. He's professional, knows his code, thorough, and friendly. One never hopes to NEED a plumber, but if I have a job I can't do, I'll definitely call Garry back in the future. I also appreciate that he put on shoe covers when entering my home. Furthermore, he was flexible enough to check out some other stuff I needed work on that wasn't in the original quote. He did the job for a very nominal fee. I love that he takes credit cards too. read more

I now understand why Westco has so many 5 star reviews. Our kitchen sewer line has been slow or blocked on and off for a long time. We've called a number of companies to come out. They all worked on the kitchen cleanout and were in and out in a short time. Problems came back fairly quickly. Gary from Westco came and did a clean out and snake and total camera exam of our whole pipe system for less than all the others we've used just to do a clean out. We ended up finding the real source of the issue and ended up doing a Hydrojet. All the other work was included in the standard cost of the hydrojeting. Thank you Gary for all the work and the great education. We now have our plumbing company. read more

Drain backed up and Garry treated our house like his own. booties inside. what really impressed me is he was careful to not let the snake drag against the cleanout pipe, which would have worn it away. Little things like that are so rare. He is super prompt and knows his stuff. Thank you! read more

Excellent service. Was very pleased that Garry fixed the issue at hand, was very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend this company - prompt, friendly, and reasonable! read more

Garry was so so helpful. After we had the house we were buying inspected, they noticed roots in the sewer. I called Garry and after looking at the report he said had a better camera to go trough the roots for a better inspection. He came to inspect when he said he would, which helped us make a decision on what to do. After purchasing the house, Garry and his team took care of the issues we had. Seamless work, great communication, honest, reliable. We would definitely recommend Westco rooter! Also, any issues we may encounter in the future we will be calling them for help! Thanks guys! read more

We were lucky to have found Gary, he is professional and we were happy to deal with a fellow Marine. The work was harder than anticipated, they did deeper digging than normal but never tried to increase the original quote. They work fast and leave everything as good as new. We definitely will recommend him to our friends and family for all plumbing issues. read more

Gary is an honest and very competant plumber and an expert at what he does. This can not be said for many plumbers and contractors in general. I highly recommend westco rooter and Gary for all your plumbing needs. read more

Garry did the initial plumbing inspection on my home when in escrow and I couldn't have asked for a more thorough and comprehensive inspection of my new home. He made time to accommodate my tight schedule during the escrow and thanks to Garry several problems were found and the seller was convinced to repair - saving me a GIANT headache. I guess customer service and professionalism aren't things of the past! AND a problem has since surfaced and Garry - rather than repairing it and charging me for it, knew i had just purchased the home obviously, and said "This should be covered under the home warranty you got when you bought the home. Call them and see if you can get it covered. They should send someone out to repair". He was RIGHT. They did send someone out, unfortunately they did NOT repair correctly and when i noted the problem again, Garry came out and took photos under the house in the crawl space himself so I could send to the home warranty company proving the repair had not been done. YOU CAN'T GIVE THIS COMPANY ENOUGH STARS. read more

I have had a problem with my main sewer line for years and I knew I had issues with roots in my line. A previous plumber I had out never returned. I had asked a 2nd plumber for a quote, but they never gave me one because they didn't want to actually dig the hole to fix the issue. The 3rd and 4th plumber weren't much better. However, WestCo rooter was very helpful and explained a variety of options. We set up a time. They dug 3 deep holes and replaced my entire sewer pipe, and filled and patched the holes, all in one long day. I couldn't believe how hard they worked and how efficient they were in getting it all done. If you have sewer pipe issues, I highly recommend WestCo Rooter. read more

I've used Gary several times now. He recently came to hydrojet a blocked drain and to fix a broken faucet in the backyard that wouldn't turn off. He's responsive to texts, fast, courteous and the price is fair. Thanks Garry! read more

To be fair I didn't receive the service just a phone call. They weren't able to assist me with a repair in a condo (multi family unit). I had made an appointment with another company for 1.5 weeks from now but was hoping for something sooner. He said he was right around the corner and would come immediately until he learned it was a condo complex. He was extremely nice and helpful and actually told me how to make the repair myself! That is impressive. I wish they could have provided service because I had a few other minor issues. The search continues... read more

WestCo plumbing did a free estimate for a major drain job on our home when we were still in escrow. They used a camera and sent me a video of the issues along with the estimate. All of the drains in my house were plugged up but we bought the house anyway hoping that WestCo could fix everything. And they did!! Garry and his crew were very professional. They worked as a team together and got the entire job done while I was at work. They had to replace a drain from the middle of my house to the middle of the street. It was an amazing ordeal that required them to dig up portions of the front yard and go through the concrete. But amazingly when I got home from work they were already cleaning up and nothing was out of place. The best part is that there were no hidden fees. It has been weeks now and there haven't been any issues. Every pipe drains as it should and we are very happy with our home thanks to WestCo. I have already recommended Garry to others and now to you. He won't let you down. read more

5 stars isn't enough! Gary came out exactly when he said he would, and fixed my blocked main in less time than it took to get his equipment out of his truck! Then he snaked the entire line just to be thorough. He priced several options for me at my request but never tried to sell me anything. I was shocked at how reasonable his rates on permanent solutions were. It was late at night and I'm sure he was tired and hungry, but Gary was cheerful and kind. I'm one of those nosy customers that likes to watch and ask questions, Gary welcomed my questions and gave me good honest answers. In the end I didn't feel like I usually feel when my older homes main line acts up. Like I just tossed money right down the clean out. This time I felt like I have a plumber now! My dad always told me you need 3 professionals in your life, a plumber, a mechanic, and an electrician. Today I got to scratch one of those off my list! Thank you Gary, I hope I don't need to see you soon, but I know the first and only call I will make next time. Updating for 2018! Well my main line acted up again, tree roots!! Garry came over and hydro-jetted the line, cleaned out all those nasty roots and even sent me a video of my line all the way to the street after! Garry has been over in the past few years for all sorts of things, from cleaning up a partially cooked oatmeal clog, boy that stuff swells! To repairing my guest bathroom sink. He arrives quickly and always gets the job done fast! If you are wondering if you should trust him, yes, yes you should! read more

These guys, Ivan and then Gary were prompt, professional and went above and beyond. Had a problem with bathroom sinks that shared a common waste line backing up. Would highly recommend. read more

We had our mainline sewer backed up. Called to set up an appointment and they were at the house within an hour! They also sent down a camera to identify the issue(s) for no additional charge, I have paid upwards of $150 for this service in the past. Gave a competitive estimate for repairing mainline sewer with no pressure. Highly recommended!!! read more

We called Garry to remove a broken garbage disposal. He answered the phone himself, was very courteous, and agree to come that day. He arrived on time and went many extra miles to make certain he had the right parts. He laid out a drop cloth to protect our floor and when he was done everything was spotless clean. Best of all, he was honest and upfront about pricing. We recommend Westco Rooter for any plumbing job. read more

Main Line repair and replacement went extremely well. Westco is very professional, efficient and did the work within 48 hours of my request. Impressive. The price was fair as well. Thanks guys! read more

Great experience with these guys. At first we had a bathtub that wouldn't drain. They came over and unclogged that but came back the same day and did a camera inspection. This revealed cracks in the pipe, and we went ahead with a replacement of the pipes leading to the main drain, which they said was still in good shape. The thing I liked best about them, was I got an immediate feeling that they were being honest and straightforward about everything. A gut feeling, which means a lot to me when hiring someone. The way they carried out the job proved that to be founded. They were on time and very clear at every step what was going on and even took care of small issues we'd had with drains and setups related to the area involved. Plus the whole crew was very Covid aware and took care to make me and my mom feel safe. I really couldn't recommend them more. I'll be going to them for everything that comes up in the future. read more

The best company ever! I had a main line break on a Sunday and had to shut off all the water. I'm on a well and have 20 horses on the property. Gary sent a tech over within an hour. Best in class. Says what he'll do, does what he says. On time, on budget, very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain it to you.

I had a "misting" pipe at the back of the house and Garry showed up quickly--within 20 mins upon calling (guess I got lucky). He assessed the situation and laid out my situation and plain terms. He gave a reasonable quote and we coordinated for him to come out the next morning, which he did. During the repair, we ran into several obstacles and the cost went up a bit--reasonable given the new situation. He persistently stayed behind for several hours (and even ran to another appointment and returned), and took care of my job completely. I'd hire him for future jobs and would recommend his services. read more

AMAZING. Four o'clock on a Sunday I discover my bathtub is completely backed up just as my in-laws arrive for the first time from out of state. Gary at Westco answered immediately and said he'd be over within the hour. Five o'clock, Gary is at my front door. Super friendly and professional, he gets right to work and snakes my tub drain. He discovers the pipes are full of old tree roots, clears the pipes, and then resnakes the pipe again just to be certain it's all clear. I receive the discount price promoted on yelp, and sweet Gary is out the door by 6 o'clock. Legit the most pleasant, smooth, and professional transaction I can remember having ever, I wish this guy did everything. I would hire him to handle my entire life. Why can't everything go so seamlessly? Thank you and bless you Gary from rescuing me from my plumbing nightmare!! read more

Westco Rooter replaced the drainage lines under my house and also the drainage line to the street. They were very professional and did the work in a timely fashion. In addition Westco Rooter was responsive to my queries on various aspects of the job. I am completely satisfied with the experience and would recommend them to my friends for their plumbing needs. They are also excellent at smaller jobs. I wouldn't use any other plumbing service. read more

I called this morning about a backed up pipe and they turned up within 1/2 hr!! It turns out we had a broken pipe clogged with 4ft of tree roots which left us no option other than fixing it. The quote was reasonable for the work and machinery involved and we gave the go ahead. Within a short time back up arrived and they set about digging a 6ft trench to access the broken pipe. We expected this to be a two day job and for our garden to be decimated in the process. Happy to report the pipe was fixed by 5pm, unbelievably our garden looks exactly as it did before their arrival and the guys were friendly, professional and hard workers! Highly recommend read more
