Amazing service. Had to handle a plumbing situation from fault of my own, Brian was very emphatic and kind while also explaining the result of the plumbing issue. He let me know the different ways to handle the situation and that it would most likely be the least intrusive way and what it would cost. Once he finished he let me know what was done. Very thorough, while i hope to not have to deal with plumbing issues for a long time, I do know who I'll be using next time a plumbing issue arises. Thank you Brian! read more

Green's Plumbing came out to fix a bathroom sink because the water volume took a nose-dive. Swapped out the valves and it's good as new! Brian also took the time to give us estimates on a few other things we needed. Checked two things off that wish-list and will call Green's back when it's time to do the rest of the work. They are knowledgable, professional and overall very friendly. Very much recommend! read more

Let me start by saying that my mom's house is VERY old, and things have not been updated for years. I was concerned due to the pipes being very old. I used Green's Plumbing to change a toilet a few years ago, and I remembered they did a great job. so there was no question in my mind who to call when I needed more plumbing services. I just had Brian out due to a leak at the Pressure Regulator, and he did very professional job. I was so pleased with the results and Brian is such a nice person. He is very knowledgeable and had the job done quickly. I will definitely continue to use Green's Plumbing. read more

We hired Green's Plumbing to replace these items: * kitchen faucet * under-sink water shut-off valves * hose bib * outside water shut-off valve Green's Plumbing sent Brian to do the work; we found him to be courteous, communicative, and displaying a professional attitude that reveals a strong command of his plumbing skills. Before we agreed on the work, Brian explained the process and his company's approach to fixing plumbing deficiencies, which showed us what to expect. Our kitchen faucet had badly corroded at the base, making it impossible to remove using conventional methods and tools. But soon enough he had removed the unyielding faucet with a Sawzall, leaving no doubt who was in charge of the fate of the faucet. The other tasks were also quickly and expertly completed. The bill conformed with the estimate, and was conveniently paid on the Green's Plumbing app. We have two suggestions we'd like to pass on to the firm: * Include the company's phone number in an email signature, which would make it easier to pick up the phone and call if needed. * If you plan to arrive to a client's address more than, say, ten minutes earlier than scheduled, please call--so folks can rush to use the bathroom before the water is shut off. : ) Our experience with Green's Plumbing was wonderful; the firm is now our go-to plumbing contractor. Green's Plumbing is doing awesome work; we recommend them without reservation. read more

This was my first time using Green's plumbing. We had previously contracted another company to do the work - they failed to show, sent a message apologizing so I gave them another go and they failed to show again. Not wanting to waste any more time I messaged Green's Plumbing who responded immediately, were polite and efficient and gave me a quote they stuck to, even when the job ended up taking slightly longer than expected. I guess we've found our new plumbers. read more

I called these guys to replace a pressure regulator valve. Brian responded, was very professional and friendly, worked quickly, and made a recommendation that we test the overflow tanks on the water heaters (my house has two), which I ok'd. One he said was fine, and one needed replacing, so he took care of that. All for a fair price. I will call them next time I need a plumber. read more

Here's what I appreciate about Ed. He is honest and will give you his opinion whether you are ready to hear it or not. Here's some things Ed has said to me over the years: "Stop overwatering you have mushrooms in your garden" "The water line you had installed looks like Mickey Mouse did it" "Wow, the gas line under you house looks like a bowl of spagetti" "You do have copper plumbing" "Just wipe off the water if don't want it to leave spots" "How many dogs do you have?" "This is not that disgusting, I've seen much worse" "Next time don't panic" Great service, great team :) read more

Brian came by yesterday and saved the day! We had a new washing machine delivered, but when the delivery guys tried to replace the hose, they found that the valve and pipe appeared to be corroded. They tried to get the corrosion off of the valve, but it didn't work. In the process, they ended up spraying water everywhere and left us with a dripping valve. To them, it looked like we would need to call a plumber to replace the pipe before our washing machine could be connected. They actually suggested a plumber, but he never called us back, so I started looking for one on Yelp. I decided to go with Green's Plumbing because the reviews seemed pretty good, they were a local business, and they also had a Yelp deal. So I called and left a message about the issue to see if they might be able to come by that day. I got a call back within 15 minutes, and they gave me a two hour window of when to expect them to arrive, plus they said they would call when they were 30 minutes away, which was great since I had errands to do that day. When Brian arrived, he assessed the problem and let me know that it wasn't necessary to replace the pipe, only the valves and some other parts. I really appreciated that he explained the issue so I could understand it. We also asked that he hook up our washing machine since we didn't want to arrange another appointment with the installers. He gave me a fair estimate for everything, and was done within an hour. He was also kind enough to clean up some of the wet rags on the floor from earlier in the morning, which he didn't have to do. This was my first experience with Green's Plumbing, and it was excellent. Great customer service, communication, and quality of work. We will definitely be giving them a call the next time we have any plumbing issues. read more

$$$$ for running a jet stream. Would not give pre estimate. I sincerely believe this company assesses a situation and decides how much the client will pay. They did get there same day and the pipe was seriously clogged, but we had an outlet to the street main and it took maybe a half hour.lots charged. read more

I emailed Green's because I read great reviews on the Next Door app. It's a small job and my usual guy had bigger jobs and couldn't fit me in. I had a very leaky outdoor faucet that I couldn't fix on my own because (a) I couldn't figure out if the water was coming from the main line or the house line or the sprinkler connection and (b) I'm not a plumber and I'd rather not make the situation worse :) They responded quickly. Brian called me in the morning, and he came out later that day. He immediately assessed the water situation, explained the work in detail and answered all my questions. I don't think there's any job too small. It's a family run business and reliable. Brian replaced the hardware and showed me all the connections. I was all set. The price was fair and the work was efficient and fast. I highly recommend Green's and Brian. read more

Brian and Ernie came in today to fix a clog in the kitchen sink. They also noticed that some of the pipes below the sink were old and replaced those. They did everything super quickly and efficiently, and also took the time to explain everything they were doing. Prices were fair as well. Super impressed by their work, I def think this company lives up to its 5 star yelp rating. read more

I was in need of some plumbing works for my new house, after searching for the best rated company i decided to give this company a try. I couldn't be happier with this company, Ed, the plumber was awesome. He did a fantastic job, he cleaned up after the job was done, rate was low, and did not try to rip me off. The next day i call him late in the afternoon to come and fix a leaking issue that was not his fault, Ed came even though it was late in the afternoon and he was across town. He was able to fixed the leak and did not charge me anything, WHAT??? I will use Ed again dor all my plumbing needs. read more

Green's Plumbing is a first class operation. I was having problems with a partially clogged kitchen drain. I called on Christmas Eve and left a message explaining that it wasn't an emergency. I received a call back from Mrs. Green on Christmas morning. She scheduled a plumber for the following day. Ernie arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem. He told me how much it would cost which was reasonable. He spent extra time making sure the problem was resolved. He was a true professional. Everything is working now and I am happy for the holidays. read more

I am not sure what happened to this company. I used them a few times and they were great. I would have given them 5+ stars. They were very responsive, did good work, and were reliable. The last couple of times I called them I didn't even get a call back and I wanted somebody to come to the house right away. I don't recall there being a problem the last time they were at my house so I am not sure what changed. Very disappointing. read more

Green's Plumbing is very expensive. I would give them higher ratings if they cared more about their clients rather than the "oh mighty dollar". I'm a little perplexed on how Ed Green (owner) handles his customers. As a business owner myself I would go out of my way to make sure that I meet or exceed a clients requests, however, that didn't happen here. I asked Ed for advise on a simple solution to minimize my financial risk and the advice I got from him was a voice recording saying he didn't want to do business with us. The first request was to get a price on a toilet, Ed said we would call me the next day on a competitive price well that returned call never happened. I also asked Ed to install 2 toilets and asked him if would be more efficient and economical to do it on one visit. Ed's response was "it will $240-$250 per toilet" now you be the judge.... $500 to install 2 existing toilets? Greens was just here the other day and I paid them $550 replace a pantry faucet. To be frank, I'm remodeling my whole house it's not about the money it's about fairness for an existing good client. I have used them on 2 other jobs and didn't squabble on the high price so for Ed to turn down business because I'm asking for sound advise and a fair deal is extremely perplexing. read more

I forget how I found Ed Green but I had used him several years ago to fix shower faucets that were some oddball valve that nobody else wanted to deal with but he successfully fixed. I am glad I kept his card since my water heater died yesterday morning (Easter). I called another plumber I had been using and left a message and I also called Ed as backup. Lucky thing since the other guy was apparently out of town but Ed quickly called back (again, this was Easter Sunday). We arranged for him to replace the water heater today (Monday) and price was very fair and service was great. I highly recommend this business. Doug in Encino read more

Disappointed. Late review, but still relevant. Two stars only because Ed seemed like a decent guy, and Green's did re-plumb our kitchen sink and install an earthquake shutoff valve on the gas meter in a timely manner. Ed also took the time later to respond to after hours call while he was at dinner to direct me to another plumber when we had an emergency situation. That was very much appreciated, but unfortunately I must give zero stars for the rest of the story: I had Green's come out to my mother's house in the San Fernando Valley in September 2016 to give an estimate on some work, and as a result they returned in October 2016 to to re-plumb the kitchen sink, install a gas earthquake shutoff valve and run a camera through the drainage system to determine the source of a recurrent toilet blockage. Quick job on the sink and shutoff valve. Absolutely no complaints there. Completely different story on the drainage issue. Had them run the camera on October 11 2016 and determine a likely source of the recurrent blockage. The technician indicated a "joint" needed to be replaced and gave me a guestimate on the likely cost, but stated that Ed was the one who would generate the actual estimate. Multiple phone messages, emails and just over 2 months later, I was finally able to get a quote via email on December 23 2016 - at double the guestimate - on replacing a portion of the system thought to be responsible for the recurrent clogs. I was left wondering how accurate a quote could be when it was given months after the tech saw it, the summary on the inspection sheet was a quick one-liner (so did anyone really remember/know the scope by that time?), and Ed never actually saw the issue for himself. Already not feeling very warm and fuzzy by this time, I opted not to continue with Green's. I ultimately had to start the search for a decent plumber anew, and pay again to have the new plumber camera the system again in order to accurately assess and quote a repair. After a promising start with Green's, just wasted time and money. Not a good experience at all. Really disappointing. read more
