We were planning on buying another dolphin from them but decided they weren't very helpful and getting it repaired if needed in the future would be a headache. We found Pool Werks in Burnsville and a lady working there named Antonia was very knowledgeable of their products and was able to help us find a great replacement vacuum for a great price on sale that is an upgrade from the former dolphin product! 10/10 recommend this place if you need a pool vacuum

I selected Performance pool to do this. They installed it in October of 2023. The winterized it and put on the winter cover. The cover wouldn't stay on and they told me I should just put a bunch of stakes around the pool. The pool was good for the first season. I opened it in the spring of 2025 and the liner had pulled out. I had to drain it and then they charged me $400 to tuck it back in. This spring the same thing happened - it came out so I drained it and tucked it back in and started to refill it. The liner pulled out again while it was filling and I had a bigger mess(sand washed out from the pool base). Keep in mind - they installed the liner originally, they charged me to fix it a year later and it happened again. To me it would seem something is wrong. I hadn't heard anything back after multiple emails and calls and was going to try to fix it myself with I looked closer at the liner and it was peeling and had a couple small tears close to the top. I sent this info over and they finally got back to me saying they were going to retuck the liner and fix the sand but if I was concerned they could replace the liner at a cost of over $6K+. This was after I spent 18K+ to buy the pool originally. Because of all the issues I had I decided to pay for the replacement because I couldn't keep dealing with the liner pulling out and having to drain and refill the pool every spring. They did lower the price but it was still over 3K. the sales people seem helpful but once the pool is installed they won't do much other than pass along your concern. I had copied our sales guy on an email to the service person and was scolded for copying him on the email. The communication from the service team is terrible. I kept trying to get updates as to when they were going to be here to replace my liner and I received a text the morning of that they were on their way. If you buy from here - keep in mind - you will be paying for any issues you might have. After the sales and install I was going to give them 5 stars but there is no way I could recommend them to anyone.

We used Performance Pools in Elk River and had them install a new heater. After having the heater…read moreinstalled and turning the heater on, it was found through heater did not work. We spoke with Jesse in the service department who first right off the bat wad horrible at communicating. He told is nothing was wrong with the heater and it was a gas issue and to reach out to our gas company. We reached out to our gas company and spend over $450 to find out it was not a gas issue and the heater had plenty of gas to ignite the heater but wasn't. We went back to Jesse and told him this and continued to place blame on the owners, with no apology or urgency to get the issue fixed. Jesse finally said techs would be out and after waiting over 10 hours and again no communication, we reached out asking and was told a tech would probably not make it. Again, no apology. It is beyond frustrating after owning Pools for over 25 years and knowing right away what the issue was but was told differently so we did everything asked and still not working. Jesse has made this experience so much worse. We understand mistakes and things happen but taking no accountability or putting no urgency behind it, and making unnecessary comme to about one mental health is absolutely unacceptable. They have lost a life long customer and we will be going above and beyond to ensure this issue is fixed and no one else has to experience this.​​
