We called Lifetime Builders for a free consultation and quote, and to see if perhaps some of the summer storms had caused the damage. Sergey came to our house to check out the damage both exterior and interior, and we set an appointment for Mike and Sergey to return to meet with the insurance adjuster so they could help us work with our insurance company to ensure that the entire roof was covered. The adjuster found evidence of severe weather damage to the roof, and Lifetime Builders placed me on the schedule for installation for the very next week. The crew arrived early on the day they were scheduled. The men were very friendly, and they worked hard all day. The first day, they did most of the removal of the old roof and installed weatherproofing for the new one. They did a phenomenal job on clean-up after the demo day, and they came back first thing the next morning and installed the new roof all within the second day. The workers left my yard looking just as good or better than before once finished with final cleanup. We had a new roof within 2 weeks of calling Lifetime Builders, and Lifetime Builders helped us work with our insurance company to ensure that every expense except our deductible was covered and paid for. They even helped with organizing the repair of the drywall ceiling inside. We could not be happier with our new roof and new ceiling in the bathroom. I would recommend Lifetime Builders to anyone looking for exterior work for their home around the Twin Cities.

After the Langerman's vehicle cut across four lanes to exit the highway--fine, whatever, people do it sometimes--I saw the driver's phone stuck the the windshield, not displaying a map, but a video. As we approached the stop sign, I was able to get right behind him and he was streaming a tv show right in the middle of his windshield. I was stunned. Later, as we wound through a subdivision of New Brighton, I watched his vehicle swerve across the double-lined median, almost entirely into the other lane, as the driver ducked down to grab something the floor. Now, to be fair, maybe the driver was slobbering drunk and so didn't realize how dangerous he was being. But assuming that's not the case, I would never want someone with this neglect for the safety and life of others to do work for me. If you have so little respect the life and property of other on the road, I could never assume you'd care about my life, family, and property. I found other reviews about the dangerous driving of this company's vehicles. I hope this isn't the owner so he can get this straightened out and begin to regain some credibility.

They improperly installed things and did not properly seal around windows and doors, still waiting for that to be completed even though that happened last fall...winter was cold. I would never recommend this company and I am still waiting for them to fix the problems they left behind.

I was told in the initial meeting it's a $400k-$500k project. How? This makes abdolutely no sense. I was told the dormer (4ft by 3 ft) with the 2 bathroom redo's was $250k. Two 6ft by 9 ft bathrooms. Then the mini split (5 heads) and closet and 7 new doors and paint and other work would be another $150k plus. How? There is pricing for a margin and being greedy. This is just greedy. Hard pass and they should be embarrassed.

We appreciated working with Ben throughout the entire process from sales to design and through the construction. I can't say enough about their level of quality in workmanship and attention-to-detail. We are thrilled with our new kitchen and can't imagine ever using another contractor.

We have a large family and, in planning for the future, really needed to convert this area into living space that would be usable for years to come. We reached out to Legacy Homes and they came immediately to give us a quote for the work. The quote was reasonable when compared to other quotes we received from other contractors and they were able to begin immediately with the renovation. There were some real challenges that came with this project as a result of the water level in our surrounding ground and the way the sewer lines were connected to the city sewer but they met each challenge with solutions that were practical and affordable. The project was completed in less than 4 months. We are extremely happy with the renovation! Legacy was committed to giving us the best outcome and was there during the entire remodel to ensure the work was done to meet code and at a quality that made our basement just what we needed and had hoped for. It is beautiful and we couldn't be more happy. If you are looking at a remodel, Legacy Homes would be my first recommendation!

Mark had a great idea to utilize Venetian plaster for the fireplace wall, and he more than delivered. It provided the statement wall we were looking for. In addition, he checked in throughout the process to ensure we were always on the same page. Mark wanted to make sure everything was done the way we wanted, all the way down to the small details of where a light switch on a wall would be, and exactly where a towel bar was hung. Not only is our basement beautiful but it was finished ahead of schedule. We would gladly use Legacy Homes on a future project.

We had the most amazing experience with Kim and Prima Construction. We had been planning a kitchen…read moreremodel since we bought our home, and the wait was worth it. We remodeled our basement in 2020 and had a good experience with that company, but we were not happy with the Covid protocols (or lack thereof) of the other company or their long-term responsiveness. Prima was incredibly respectful of our home and fantastic about communication. The planning process was impeccable, and I felt like we were listened to and the design completely reflects what we wanted and what was most practical for our space. During the project Kim sent weekly updates about what was accomplished and what was planned for the next week. The project stayed on schedule in spite of a couple Covid brushes and a lot of snow! I also love supporting a woman-owned business, but if that's not your thing, pick Prima because of the quality of the work and the stellar communication and project management. We opened up a load-bearing wall and added the custom bench, and everything else basically stayed in the same place (except added a pantry) but was completely replaced and updated. We also had soffits removed. We couldn't love our new kitchen more! Here's a link to a video of the project. If it doesn't work, it is on Prima's Facebook page if you want to check it out. https://clipchamp.com/watch/Y9XRXnACsrT
