We went with Touchdown Tile for our upstairs bathroom remodel, as they came highly recommended. We received our estimate at the beginning of September in 2024, Final payment 12/30. Initially we were told it would be done by Thanksgiving and it ended up going through Christmas. Throughout this process there were numerous issues. They installed a bath fan that still did not work appropriately and the contractor put his foot through the newly finished knockdown ceiling, floor tile improperly laid, improper grouting (they had to reapply multiple times), electrical outlet and switch not installed level, they damaged the bathtub, the entire tile surround in shower was installed badly and waving. Not to mention the mess left outside, drywall compound/grout water being dumped in my backyard and damaged my siding/grass; and a piece of plywood in the front yard that was buried by snow during the project and killed my grass when found in spring. Due to this, I reached out to the GC about my complaints in March of 2025. The GC was shocked by the quality of the initial job and stated he would correct the mistakes. They finished corrections in January 2026. After the "corrections", the bathroom fan doesn't work and drips a lot of water when in use. The entire surround was replaced and still not done well, the tiles aren't aligned and in one spot i have a cut myself a few times from the tile jutting out. Not to mention, I purchased this tile for the contractors and didn't receive payment until the fix was complete months later. This was brought up during the second surround installation and the solution was to add more grout to the bottom of the jutting out tile. This grout has since deteriorated and it is sharp again. Grouting was done incorrectly and redone 3 times during the fix. Multiple attempts to patch the damage to the tub were done, damage still visible in 2 spots. They tiled over a water pipe that held the shower wand, so we had to wait for the GC to drill into the tile to reveal the pipe. The plumber came out to the drilling being incomplete and had to reschedule multiple times. To the plumber and I's dismay, this delayed the process. On the other side of the shower there is a closet with an access panel which has began to show increased signs of water intrusion at the top of the wall near the shower head. In the end, I was compensated for the tile I purchased + a little extra. (this did not cover the cost of tile plus interest due to delays). Plus a bathroom with improper tiling, a steam issue (to the point it has rusted the light fixture in the bathroom), and incredibly messy finishes (including towel racks falling out of wall). We wasted 20k dollars and will have to pay to have the bathroom remodeled, yet again. BEWARE, please think twice before using this company. I will not be recommending/referring them to any friends, family, or clients. read more

I hired Touchdown Tile to remodel my bathroom, and I couldn't be more impressed with the results. The project involved removing the old bathtub and replacing it with a tiled walk-in shower and the transformation is more than I expected. Funny thing, when the tile started, he even called to make sure the color was correct! The orange tile is STUNNING. From the first meeting, the Touchdown Tile team was professional, punctual, and easy to work with. Project: Full bathroom remodel I was referred to Touchdown Tile by my co-worker. I initially sent an email through their website to set up a time to get an estimate. Erik, one of the co-owners of the business, reached out to me and scheduled a time to come out to my house. He was able to schedule a time that worked really well given my schedule. He was very professional, easy to work with, and detailed. I really did not have an idea of what I was looking to do with the bathroom, but he offered suggestions and detailed what they were able to do for me. The estimate only took about 15 minutes and the estimate fell in line with the final price. I even made some additions along the way because I was under budget, which was great! A week or so later I went to their place of business to begin selecting the materials, e.g. tile. They had a very broad selection to choose from and all of the selections were reasonably priced. There were multiple ways I could have gone with my selections as I thought their materials were top of the line. I really do not think I could have gone wrong. I utilized other outlets to purchase the fixtures, mirror, a new toilet, etc., and I was able to find some great deals using recommendations from Erik. About a month or so later work began and I met Joe, the project manager. He was fantastic to work with, easy to talk to, and responsive to all of my requests. He really knew what he was doing and was helpful throughout the remodel. If you use Touchdown Tile I hope you get Joe as your project manager...really good guy. The completed tile work was excellent. Oleh, who completed the tile work, was able to level out my floor (the floor was somewhat slanted before). They also lowered my shower and fixed my water pressure issue (I had no water pressure). I was really impressed with how detailed Oleh was and the care in which he set the tile. If you saw what I had before the remodel and compared it to what I have now I suspect you would be very impressed. I highly recommend Touchdown Tile for a bathroom remodel. Quick, well done, kitchen backsplash. Reis, the co-owner of the business first gave an estimate over email with the measurements I provided. He stopped in later that week to take a look and took more detailed measurements so he could provide an exact estimate. It was close to the original and was only adjusted up as I mentioned I wanted the 3'' stone that ran up from the counter stripped and replaced with tile. The quote was very competitive and Reis was very personable and responsive throughout the whole process. 4-5 weeks later. the 'guy' from Touchdown's team came out for the job. He finished getting the tile up in about a 7 hour day. He finished grouting the next day in about 3-4 hours. Throughout the whole process he was professional and kept the work area clean. It looks great and I couldn't be happier. I live in an old warehouse where nothing is level, and he did a great job keeping the tile line level.
