Happy Saturday peeps! Omg, woke up way too early this morning! lets do a quick short review. I took a ride over the Washington bridge to check out West side Diner. On street parking and a small parking lot. Outside dinning area too which I thought was pretty cool for a diner. Inside is nice and clean. I was there around 7 am so it was not busy yet but from what have read in reviews is that this pace gets real busy later in the morning. I wish I grabbed more pics but I will be back to take some more soon. - Eggs Benedict - just your standard diner eggs Benedict, eggs were packed fine, hollandaise was just ok along with the ham and English muffins. - ice coffee - I would say kind of watered down kin d of bummed me out. - home fries - I would say just standard home fries , although I loved the option she gave while ordering. You had your choice of home fries, shredded hash browns or a side of mixed fruit! Great idea! - side of corn beef hash - YES!!! real home made corn beef hash!!! Great job West Siiiiiide!!!! lol - Service was prompt and very nice. I really liked my wait staff here. - Silver ware was nice and clean also! In closing, I will be visiting again! I loved the diner atmosphere. The food was ok and the service was good.

this is a must-do in rhode island. i loved every second of the vintage interior, sassy swift service, and heartburn-inducing fried food. we waited for like 15min on a saturday at peak brunch time and sat at the counter top. our waitress was hilarious. i wanted hash browns with my food and it came with fries so she gave me both for fun. great tourist spot and make sure you're good with smelling like fried food on your clothes after!

This is a quintessential place in the design of a authentic modern diner. Six of us went for breakfast on a Monday and sat outside as the weather was perfect. Our server was very personable and attentive, helping us to choose our dishes. We ordered a variety of dishes, from pancakes and the eggs to different kinds of eggs Benedict. There were also a few side items including bacon. This and Modern Diner are two diners I like best in Providence. We only come here infrequently as it's away from our stomping grounds. I would recommend this place for a very good brunch.

Perfect breakfast in an old time diner. The highlight was the Fall River omelet which was full of chorizo, onions , peppers and cheese. The home fries were perfectly done. Our waitress made sure our coffee was full as she stopped by every few minutes to check in.

New drink menu that is so yummy! We had a mimosa flight and the Westside Diner Bloody Mary. Loved the delivery. Loved the flavors. Loved the staff. Food, as always was yummy!

Omg, West Side Diner was nothing short than incredible. It was top tier delicious! Me and my brother went here on Tuesday morning and what an experience this place was. First of all, the inside is composed of two parts. You have the front part, which is the original, classic American Diner, then you have a back part which is made up to be extras seating for the diner. Me and my brother sat in the retro diner part of it. The ambiance was really fun and spacious wise, it was a lot less cramped than your other traditional American diners. Regarding the service, it wasn't crowded at all when we went. So the service was pretty quick. Our waitress was on top of our drinks and kept coming back to ask how things were. Always a plus. Regarding what me and my brother got, well, to start, we each got coffees, I got hot and he got iced, then for food I got a corn beef hash omelet, which the corn beef hash was probably the best I've ever had! It was so flavorful and tender and just delicious! It then came with home fries (which I asked for well-done) and then I got a grilled English muffin as well. We also got an order of pancakes, and a bowl of oatmeal then my brother got biscuits and gravy, which I tried and we amazing. He also got a hash instead of home fries which the hash was really tasty too. Overall, this is 100% a diner that I will be back to. It's not expensive at all, the portions are generous, and the food tasted nothing short than incredible. I highly recommend you give this gem a try!

Breakfast special also comes with a side of pancakes.

Absolutely my new favorite breakfast place in Providence. We're new to the area and we've been all over town trying breakfast diners and ranking our favorites from first to last. We have a new first place winner! My husband loved the homemade hash and my pancakes were really top notch. The hash browns were cooked just right and even the bacon was spot on. Honestly there was nothing to complain about!! We'll definitely be back soon! I would definitely recommend trying the mimosas.

This little gem tucked in a neighborhood area not far from Federal Hill was a great find. Can not wait to visit again. Quaint diner which has probably been there since the 50's and has a true diner vibe. What makes it so great are the wait staff and food. Wait staff are efficient and friendly. And the food is absolutely amazing. I love diners but this by far is one of the best. The onion rings are amazing and the sandwiches are great. Coffee is a local blend and is a must try Wish I could give more than five stars.

Our party of four was sated right away on a Saturday morning. Prompt and friendly service. Lots of great menu options including standard diner fare. Eggs and all dishes cooked to order. Friendly, relaxed vibes with lots of regulars who knew the staff. Found free, close street parking easily.

Met up with friends 4 o'clock on a Saturday. Friends have food restrictions so choosing a place…read morewith 7 restaurants to order from works out great. The space is a large modern hanger-style food court with a large bar station and plenty of seating in and outdoors on large patio. Wonderful for families and groups to gather around at long large tables. We found a table by the end by a large screen wall tv with sports on and comfy leather club chairs Great for drinks and talking. First stop, we stood at the bar and ordered our drinks ($14 cocktails). And got big glasses of ice water and headed to our table. We then we split up and everyone walked the hall looking at menus. We all ordered food and gave the restaurant a phone number and they'll text you when your items are ready, generally about 10 or 15 minutes depending on how busy things are. Then you go pick up your tray and head back to your table. Note... don't forget your phone like I did. It's a great opportunity for grazing. If you wanna try a little bit here and there. I chose to have Mediterranean food from TOLIA. Appetizer was a nice three dip Mediterranean plate with pita chips $15 that were crunchy and good. For my entrée, I selected the minced lamp, kebabs over eggplant with pita and an added extra cucumber yogurt dip $29. This was all very tasty And costs about $50 with tip. A bit pricey for a self serve if you ask me. But that's the way things are going on these days. It was a nice time sitting around and talking, but then it got very crowded and very noisy and people were hovering by 5:30 to take our tables and even asked if we were getting up soon. It was a cold chilly day, but the overflow folks were headed outside of the picnic tables, which seemed very cold to me, but on a warm day I would all be very nice. A note on parking, we parked in the adjacent parking garage right near behind Track 15 and get your ticket validated inside at wall kiosk by the door when Leaving. This will save you, so two hours cost about $8.95.

Looked at all of our options and I decided to go with Mexican from Dolores and my wife decided to go with Giusto PVD. I wish I had chosen Italian over Mexican. I've been dying to try Dolores so I opted to have three different tacos after asking the girl at the register if she would recommend their chicken sandwich over the tacos. She told me that everything was good so I went with the ribeye taco, the shrimp taco and the mushroom taco. The ribeye taco was fantastic. There was quite a bit of ribeye in it and the perfect amount of spice. The shrimp taco flavor and the mushroom taco was just spicy with a little flavor. I'd have to say the ribeye was the best taco and it definitely wasn't worth what I spent on them. My wife had an eggplant Parm sandwich and it was cooked perfectly, looked delicious and I wish I had gotten that. I really wanted to order a long Liv beer, but the bartender was talking to someone, I assume that they knew, as although I was only the second person in line I didn't get waited on for over 10 minutes. I ended up walking away to go get my food and just drank water. So my first experience here was not great, overall I'm pretty disappointed, but I'm going to go back and try again as there are a few other restaurants. I really do like the idea of being able to get dishes from different restaurants, pick your own seat and sit with other people at a community table. It's really nice inside and they had live music tonight, which would've been great if we wanted to stay. Next time I go back, I'm definitely having Italian, pizza and some falafel. Dolores was 2 stars Bart was 1 star Giusto was 5 stars Bus boy gets 5 stars too

She had just a couple of deviled eggs, which were a little dry, then continued with a good seasonal salad, accompanied by excellent bread which the restaurant gets from the ex-Wayland bakery, which has unfortunately moved to Pawtucket and changed its name For my main dish I had the appetizer mussels mariniere - tasty and just the right portion for lunch. With great willpower I did not order the fries as I had some the night before. And ended with an espresso. Our waiter, Joe, was knowledgeable about the food (and brought us an extra helping of bread) and gave excellent service. (We gave him a good tip.) As usual, the place was noisy but less so than in the evening. This really is an American bistro, reminiscent of the ones in Paris. RI food fights brought me in and you don't get access to the whole sandwich menu here, unfortunately you have to pick between their "Mushroom Bahn MI" and their "Screaming BLT". I went with the BLT since I wasn't feeling the vegan option. The description was "chili-hoisin glazed bacon | sliced tomato baby greens tomato jam | dill pickle pickled red onion chipotle aioli toasty thick-sliced white bread". Honestly, it was underwhelming. It had some tasty components but it was pretty average. The bacon was terribly weak. It was probably frozen precooked bacon that is heated and brushed with a hoisen glaze. I was hoping for some thick cut glazed almost candied bacon. Their avg. sandwich was around $16-17. If paying for that, I'd be left pretty disappointed. On top of that, it probably took around 35-40 minutes to get the sandwich. Again, pretty okay sandwich, the pickled onion, tomato jam and Chipotle aioli elevated things, but it's in vain with the bacon they use. Their other sandwiches sound good, so it's possible I'll visit to try them out at some point but can't see myself running back here after my impression with this BLT.
