I wasn't at all!! Such a great experience, the lady was super kind, very quick and did a very relaxing eyebrow and temple massage afterwards. Definitely going to keep going here! I like to keep my eyebrows thick and sort of long and she totally kept my request in mind while threading. Very pleased :)

I cannot say enough good things about Annette. She is friendly, approachable, and easy to reach…read more Today I went in the get eyelash extensions and was extremely nervous - my last full set of extensions (from a different salon, obviously) was an expensive, painful mistake. I told Annette my situation and she not only helped removed the remaining low quality lashes and the clumps of SUPER GLUE still on my lashes from my prior mistake, but she also took her time and put on a new set that looks absolutely gorgeous. My eyelashes look and feel incredible. As I was leaving, she gave me a brush to clean the lashes, a comb to brush the lashes, and written instructions for proper care. I am so impressed and so grateful I found her. She has an eyelash extension special going on right now and it is an absolute steal! If you're thinking about getting eyelash extensions, do it ASAP before her 50% off special ends :)

I am so happy I discovered Lily C at Planet Nails! It's easy to make an appointment online, I am…read morealways greeted with a smile and everyone there is so friendly. The pedicure chairs are wonderful! Usually someone comes by with cold cans of sparkling water, which makes me feel pampered and valued. Lily C is a delight to spend time with as she does my builder gel nails. She's artistic and can do anything if you bring her an inspiration photo. One thing I really appreciate: I lost a fingernail in an accident and it has taken forever to get it to grow back in a healthy way. She's advised me on the right way to treat my nail and is always extra careful so it doesn't hurt. I always enjoy talking with her, too! I am moving to Spain next month and she will be missed. The only other thing I'd mention (and it's still 5 stars!) is that interior is dated and could use a refresh and tidying up. It would be worth closing for a few days to give the place a makeover. This is a superficial thing yet there are lots of choices for nail salons in Boulder and I'd like to see Planet Nails' interior reflect the excellent service and wonderful people that work there.

I thought the second experience here would be the same or similar as the first. Unfortunately, I…read morewas met with genuinely the worst service and an extremely rude nail technician. She was impatient almost the entire time and would get aggravated and would cut me off whenever I would ask a simple question about my cuticles or asking if she can cut a nail more since it was uneven. When she was cutting and filing my nails, she constantly kept nicking me and was cutting deeply in my skin on 5 DIFFERENT fingers. It constantly was stinging and throbbing even after I left!! I'm so saddened by this, especially since last time it was a great experience for me. But if one nail technician is able to hurt me this bad, I can no longer trust other technicians.

I have to say, I definitely prefer her to the place I frequent at home. She's very warm, funny, and an all around great person. Lea may be good at what she does, but her customer service stinks!!! I was sick and had to miss my…read moretouch up appointment. When I tried to reschedule it with her, she was too booked and couldn't find a slot for me so I had to wait for my next scheduled touch up appointment. At that time, without even seeing me, she stated that I would have to pay $200 at my next appointment since I would need a full set since it would be several weeks since she saw me last. Well first of all, how could she make that assessment without even seeing me. My eyelashes look great even though I am a week passed my touch up appointment. And secondly, that should be my decision if I want to pay $200 for a full set, or $65 for a touch up. But she decided that it was a full set or nothing, again, without even seeing me she made this decision. So she cancelled my appointment and told me she has high standards and obviously I am not the right fit for her. You bet I am not the right fit for her. I don't need someone who is trying to extort money from me. I need someone who is wiling to work with me and my budget and if all I want is a touch up, then that should be my call not hers. It would be different had she seen me and explained that my lashes were beyond a touch up and really needed a full set. However, she has never seen my eyelashes since my missed appointment, and would be surprised to see that they look great and ONLY NEED a TOUCH UP!!!!!!
