Highly recommend! Great experience here and I was pleased with the results! Nice price during the week if you walk in ($10) or for new customers. This was probably the most painful experience I have had with eyebrow threading, but I also chalk this up to my sensitivity, and not necessarily anyone's fault. The environment was pleasant and clean. There was not any music playing or any background noise, so it felt a bit quiet and a little awkward. I cannot remember the woman's name who did the threading, but she was friendly, quick, and polite. Something to be cognizant of if you are very particular about the thinness or shape of your eyebrows, I wasn't asked what shape I wanted which may be a problem for some, but didn't phase me. My first visit here was phenomenal with Usha the owner. I am Punjabi and have thick eyebrows and maintain a pretty natural thick look. Usha accomplished the look I was going for by taking a minimal amount of hair off but still achieving the shape I was after. I just came back a little over a month later and this visit I needed MUCH less hair taken off but the tech didnt understand what I asked for (my tech did not speak English) and she ended up making my eyebrow way too thin. I asked her to stop midway through because o could feel she was taking off too much hair and she didn't even understand the word stop (which I must have said about 8 times and then finally put my arm up). I was able to get Usha on the phone and had her communicate to the tech that we just needed ti finish the sesssion and make the other eyebrow match as much as possible without taking off too much hair. So I now have one eyebrow that's thin and neither look good. She didn't even clean up the hair I came in for. read more

Love this place, they really did a great job with my eyebrows and my friend's. She has thicker eyebrows so the before/after is easier to see. She's very pleased with them! (She only got a clean up, that's why they're not a different shape after) Would 100% recommend to people with bushy eyebrows. Affordable, great service and most painless threading joint I've come across. The women who runs the shop is extremely sweet and does an amazing job, especially on eyebrows! Although they don't offer waxing, which I've typically done in the past, I've grown to prefer threading on my face. No more worrying about breakouts or excessive pulling on your skin. I've been getting my eyebrows threaded at the flatirons mall in superior for a couple years now, and after consistently bad service it was time for a change. I cannot express how happy I was to find eyebrow threading in Boulder!! I went as a walk in appointment and was taken care of right away. The unbelievably sweet lady who threaded my eyebrows clearly was experienced and knew exactly what she was doing. You can tell when someone's an experienced threader when the pain is minimal, and every stroke is precise and deliberate. She was very gentle and detail oriented. I have been coming here since August 2019 and have always had a good experience. They take walk ins and the busiest i've seen them is 3-4 people in line/waiting. They also make sure to ask if you want witch hazel before applying it. I've only had my brows threaded here but they shape them very nicely and aren't too thin. read more

I decided to try this place after finding a good deal on groupon (3 eyebrow threadings for $19). Parking is a bit annoying, but it is for everything on the Hill. I walked in and was the only person there, so there was no wait. Yay! The woman who helped me was very kind and really took her time (I often feel like most people just rush through it). She really made sure I was liking how they looked. I was just going in for a clean up, and I think she did a great job. For those people who don't know what they want they even have a board with different eyebrow shapes displayed, which is pretty handy. When the threading was finished she gave me a quick temple massage, which was a nice touch. There are not that many threading options in Boulder, but this place does a great job. Classic Eyebrow Threading seemed to have the best reviews so I popped in on a Friday around 1 and was taken right away. The place is small and quaint. The results were amazing. Ruby doesn't work there anymore, she quit. I went in thinking Ruby was going to thread my eyebrows, but it was some new lady and she does a shit job. It was a lot more painful than when Ruby does it, it took her about 1 minute total and she completely fucked up my eyebrows. They aren't proportional and it will probably take months for my eyebrows to get back to how they were before. You'll be wasting your money if you get your eyebrows threaded here. read more

This studio completely changed my opinion on eyebrow threading. As someone who can't get their eyebrows waxed because of acne medication, I always had my eyebrows plucked at the Benefit Brow Bar at Ulta. They always did a great job, but since moving to boulder it's hard for me to make a trip out to my nearest Ulta, so I decided to give this place a shot. I was really hesitant at first because the last time I got my brows threaded at a different studio it was extremely painful and I wasn't that impressed with the results. The studios owner really knows what she is doing. She is always very sweet and her rates are really inexpensive, considering she does a fantastic job. I haven't ever been this happy/pleased with the way someone has done my eyebrows in boulder. I walked past it on my way to my car and had been meaning to set up a waxing appointment, but there hasn't been any available when I am free. This place is cheap, does a really nice job and takes walk ins! I have friends that only get there eyebrows threaded, but I had never done it until tonight. PLEASE BRING RUBY BACK! I've been a loyal customer since 2016 and although I travel extensively, I've done my best to ensure that Ruby is the only person to do my eyebrow threading. I stopped by today after a while and was told that Ruby had left. Against my better judgement and because I didn't want to be rude, I decided to have my eyebrows threaded. Honestly it was the worst decision I could have ever made. My eyebrows look like they've been massacred - one looks like it hasn't even been threaded and the other has been shortened and arched to the point that trying to conceal the mismatched shape with an eyebrow pencil is an outright lost cause. This is incredibly disappointing from a business that I've only ever had good experiences with. It's extremely embarrassing having to walk around like this and it's going to take a miracle to get my eyebrows back to the way that they used to be. Please please please get Ruby to come back. read more

After an unpleasant brow threading encounter at the strangely named Phenix Salon Suites on Baseline, in which a brow tech with limited experience and English proficiency ignored my instructions and left me with mismatched pencil-thin brows (think Divine in 'Pink Flamingos'), I had almost sworn off threading. However, I was delighted to find this lovely, professional salon. Rubi is a pleasant and highly competent brow stylist. She is also fast. Her salon is a little oasis on the Hill--clean, comfortable and modern. You don't have to wade into one of those honeycomb salon complexes to find her. She's right there next to the Starbuck's on College. Not a student-ish shop at all, but I hope students of taste will patronize it. Parking is a challenge for those who aren't otherwise on campus, but I'd recommend the pay lot at Pennsylvania and 13th. Please bear in mind, everyone, that threading produces better, more long-lasting results than waxing. We have very few threading salons in this town. So let's keep this one in business (the price is right and the results are elegant). Brows on fleek, ladies! read more

The gal (was it Rubi?) who used to be here all the time always did such a stellar job! She was pleasant, friendly, careful, seemed to take pride in her work. I went back recently and it was a different lady there...and it was quite an unpleasant experience! 1) First of all, she did not even consult with me on what I wanted, and did not seem to be able to communicate well enough to have that initial conversation when one sits down in the chair. She seemed to want to get started right away (mind you, without clarifying exactly what I wanted initially). 2) Threaders will often request help in holding the skin down above and below the eyebrow. Of all the threaders I've been too, she was the most rude and gruff I've ever had! 3) While I've never paid attention to the fingernails of threaders before (because it's never been an issue) this woman had long pink fingernails that kept poking into my eyelids, and were it not for me closing my eyes, would have been poking into my eyes! 4) Threaders usually use a disposable tissue to brush away the stray hairs, but this woman used a brush that had really stiff bristles and was very scratchy! Plus, it didn't seem very sanitary. 5) To top it off, when she handed me that handmirror at the end so I could have a look at her work, the mirror was so smudgy that I had to kinda move the mirror and look between the smudges to see what she had done. Very unprofessional! After the questionable scratchy brush and fingernails that kept poking into my eyes, I was compelled to do a good washing of the area with soap and water afterwards. Unless the gal they had there before is back, I will be going elsewhere for eyebrow threading. read more
