Lash Extensions: Can't recommend Lash Lounge for eyelash extensions. I paid for a hybrid level 2 and got something like looks like I already need a fill. I'd say only have extensions on 50% on my lashes. The lashes that have extensions are placed way too far from my lash line, so my lashes are pointing every where, and just generally look bad. In the photo, you can see how far out they are placed and the chunks missing extensions completely. This service would originally cost around $350 (I got it for $150 on promotion) which is absolutely absurd for what I got. Lash & Brow Tint: I got a lash and brow tint a whole back and the only reason why I'm giving 2 stars. They asked a few questions before doing it and really honed in on the color I was wanting. The tint looked great and I was really happy with it. However, if you want them to tint the lower lashes, you have to explicitly ask for that.

This…read moretype of stop in spa does not exist where I live and I thought it was a fun idea to try out and also to treat my daughter to her first facial as a nice way to relax during a stressful time and being busy with school. The woman at the front desk was so nice and helpful and fit us in together the same day despite it being a tight squeeze. I liked the half spa type thing they have going on, change your top but keep your pants on. The facial I received, the signature, wasn't as lux as other facials I've had but for the price I thought it was great. My only real issue was the lighting, when you're laying there trying to relax having a bright light overhead for the entire experience makes it difficult; at one point I had this lovely heavy mask on which finally darkened my eyes and was very literally in pain when it was removed due to the brightness of the lights on my eyes which had adjusted to darkness and my eyes started tearing due to the pain. Please, DIM THE LIGHTS! More spa like music would be nice too but I didn't really mind the Hozieresque music they had on. My daughter has dry, sensitive, acne prone skin and we went with the clear skin facial which is only 45 minutes but she didn't have much to say about it after other than "it was nice" so I'm not sure we got the impression and relaxation I was hoping for, she did also mention the pain of the bright lights in her face while laying on the table. Over all I really enjoyed my experience, it's a great option when you don't want to dedicate half your day to the spa, my tech Mo was very kind and skilled and I really enjoyed the time she spent working on my tight jaw muscles. Overall I would recommend this place and I would return myself. I do genuinely hope they figure out how to dim the lights because searing eye pain isn't very relaxing.

They have this "alchemy lash lift apprenticeship person for a discount" thing. I normally go to one professional woman, but I did NOT ask for the apprenticeship. The apprenticeship ruined my lashes for these two months (some lashes even fell out) and for the normal 70 dollars, they charged me 65. Ouch. I think the person at the front booking my service who didn't let me know, was straight up dishonest.

The studio space is very welcoming, clean, and full of calming scents from the natural products also being sold there. I recently bought a mango butter cream that I LOVE. My Brazilian wax treatments are never as painful as I expect, I feel comfortable, and I always leave my session very satisfied with the outcome. I highly recommend Julie from Brazil on the Hill. She is awesome:)

Hello Earlier today,…read moreas a birthday gift to myself, I decided to pamper myself and get my first ever bikini wax. Brazil on the Hill received some pretty good reviews and it was close by, so I put my faith in them to rip out my hair. Getting an appointment was super easy, but when I got there, I was left waiting for around 10 minutes after my appointment time. I filled out the sheet saying specifically that I have sensitive skin. Once Katie came to take me to one of the back rooms, I explained to her that it was my first time ever getting waxed anywhere except my eyebrows. She told me we would do just a regular bikini at first instead of a full brazilian which sounded good to me. There was no consultation other than her telling me to keep my dress on and take off my panties and put them on the chair. Katie came back in and without letting me explain what I wanted, she started putting hot wax on my upper bikini line. And I commented, "ow, the wax is hot" and she didn't say anything about it. She proceeded to use a strip to rip my poor little hairs out. I've read a lot online on how you should always use hard wax on the bikini line, especially for sensitive skin, because it doesn't remove a layer of skin. There was no mention of what kind of wax used here on the website, waiver, or in person. The heat made me very uncomfortable and my skin is very irritated. When the first strip was pulled, I vocalized my pain, and Katie told me to be quiet because they "have other customers". In between strips, I tried to tell Katie what I wanted, and she told me that with my length of hair, what I wanted would look weird. I felt very uncomfortable by her saying that, because it seemed very judgmental, and people online say that esthetician should not be judgmental is because it is their job to look at people's private parts. I should not have felt embarrassed about my body when someone is doing something very personal for my body. The wax continued to feel very hot on my sensitive skin. Katie went back over places multiple times with more wax strips which is dangerous because it removes a layer of skin every time. Hard wax can be used over spots multiple times but not soft wax (which again, was not advertised). When she was done with the regular bikini, she asked me to sit up and look at what I have to see if I wanted to continue with a brazilian or an extended bikini. My skin was sticking to itself because it still had wax residue on it, which was painful on my red, bleeding, sensitive skin. When I said I was done, Katie (very aggressively) rubbed oil into my freshly waxed skin and I vocalized "that hurts" and she did not respond. Once she was done, she just walked out. No words on aftercare, or if I was even ready to go and put on my panties again on my bleeding, oily skin. I would have loved to hear about aftercare from a professional to avoid ingrown hairs because I'm susceptible to them, but I didn't get any assistance. For a first timer, it was not the best way to end an appointment. Luckily I did get the 50% discount for being a new customer, but even the $18 I spent was not worth all the pain and discomfort (both physically and emotionally) I went through for a gift for myself on my birthday. EDIT I got a call earlier today from Katie herself apologizing for the service I received and she offered a full refund. I still didn't get the service I wanted or expected, but I added a star for the attempt to fix it.

First time getting a facial, and I'm hooked! My friend and I were visiting the area and decided on a last minute facial. Fortunately for us, Tiffiany and Catharine were available to squeeze us in! My facial with Tiffiany was heavenly and included an arm, hand and scalp massage. Three days later, my skin is still glowing and has never looked better. She took a thorough skin care and health history and was able to make suggestions/recommendations based on my current skin care routine and concerns. Little did I know that I had been missing a very important product in my regimen. Thank you Tiffiany for recommending the Lira vitamin-C! You weren't kidding, that stuff is awesome!
