Make sure you get onto the part of East Kent Street south of the railway tracks. The north side is the Superstore property. There is a sign board next to the driveway for the industrial park but you have to go past the first set of buildings and you make a left turn to find it tucked away at unit 104. I ordered the mocha (I have a sweet tooth) and it came with cocoa flavoured whipped cream and chocolate shavings. It was 2:30 pm and I was served quickly and the server was friendly. A regular customer was already in the seating area and it was a warm and friendly atmosphere. I did not order any food this time but another customer was having a toasted sandwich that looked good. If you work near here you might want to seek this place out. There are about three tables and a window bar so there is a decent amount of seating so I think it would be a good place to meet up.

A beautiful cafe shop owned by a Taiwanese coffee connoisseur - Jason. This cafe used to be in…read moreContinental Square but then it closed (its successor I didn't like at all...found it very pretentious and the staff didnt' know anything I asked). Jason opened a cafe in Kerrisdale and re-opened in Richmond at this location. Location-wise, I think the cafe is quite out of the way. It's in the industrial area of Richmond. The cafe doesn't even look appealing from the outside. Do not be fooled! The interior is very nicely decorated. A lot of love and efforts put into it. There's also a roaster at the back of the cafe. Menu - I really loved how much effort was put into the menu. It tells you how to drink your syphon coffee, the detailed differences between each blend, what each espresso drinks consist of, etc. My brother spent quite a lot of time looking through the menus. Since the connoisseur was present on the day we went, we had to get the syphon coffee. Make sure you ask him for opinions and suggestions. I settled on the Mandheling because I love my coffee very aromatic and full-bodied, but very low acidity. The syphon coffees are pretty expensive but they were very tasty. You get your coffee in a fancy coffee cup, with a "shot" beside it for your companion to try. I would definitely come back here for syphon coffees only, and I'd call in advance to ensure that Jason is present. For the espresso-based beverages, I found the prices to be too high and I'd rather go elsewhere to get my latte. The main difference between this store and the Kerrisdale one is that the latter has much more food options.

This location quite quiet but much more easier to find parking than Kerrisdale. The owner and staffs are friendly, the service great and attentive. The owner showed us how do they roasted the coffee and little workshop at the back. We had a vanilla pudding to share and I ordered kopi luwak coffee to enjoy. Beside La Cuisson I don't know where to get kopi luwak coffee.
