This review is for this specific location, but I will say that I really appreciate the Breka brand in general for the wide selection of interesting and affordable but delicious baked goods, light meals, and beverages. And, of course, the 24/7 thing. I got a pistachio donut and iced London fog here. I love their stuffed donuts - they fill them with a lot of rich cream and biting into one is like biting into a fluffy cloud. They are sweet and kind of over the top, and I usually am not into super sweet donuts, but it just works here and is totally worth the indulgence. The pistachio flavour in this one was very nice. They made a good iced London fog too. They use a teabag for the London fog instead of a concentrate, and while some places that make it this way fail at the iced version because they don't steep the tea long enough, they did a good job with it. It was strong enough and just the right amount of sweet. Small complaint: they only have plastic cups for iced drinks even if you're dining in. The shop is pretty small. I visited in the early morning and did manage to find a seat, but it was crowded, and it looks busy every time I pass by. Even so, the atmosphere was nice with the light coming in the windows in the front of the shop, and the staff was calm and friendly. I would return to this one if I still worked in the area.

Bacon bits were caramelized with maple syrup? And jalapeño mixed cheese made good combination. I was disappointed with chicken quality. They don't use real, natural chicken. They use factory pre made chicken like precut, pressed, deformed chicken. The texture was very hard like eating rubber eraser.

I was craving cake and we heard that this was a great spot to try so why not?…read more We arrived at 4:30pm on a Saturday hoping for the best. We tried a sampling of the small cakes, cupcakes and some items from the pastry case. They were ALL EXCELLENT. Fresh with light balance of flavors as well as a great ratio of sponge to frosting. The banana bread was as good as any home made I've ever had. We've been back twice since that visit, including to get birthday cakes, and Trafiq remains my favorite cake/cupcakes/treats in Vancouver. My recommendation is get there in the morning and have a(n) amazing schmecken and a latte. The (amazing) schnecknen was perfection plus and now as I write this at 4:00pm on a weekday in South Granville I really want a Trafiq Schnecken. Aside from everything we've ever ordered being excellent, the staff is great and they have a nice cozy dining area. It's also a great neighborhood for a stroll.

Floral and fruity with a clean, honeyed finish. Kinako Cherry Cheese Swiss Roll Light sponge cake rolled with tangy cherry compote and smooth cream cheese, dusted with nutty roasted kinako soybean powder. Matcha-Berry Opera Cake Thin layers of matcha joconde sponge, berry ganache, and matcha buttercream stacked into a refined, jewel-toned slice. Black forest cupake and cookie and cream cupcake. Kinako Cherry cheese swill roll was good. Cherry compote dominated the cake flavor, paired with cream cheese well. Kinako powder was very subtle, it was not overly sweet, overall, it was very good. Strawberry jasmine tea was just ok. Strawberry and floral flavor were very subtle. Jasmine tea flavor dominated this drink. When I mixed with Whipped cream on top, it tasted better. Matcha berry opera cake was the highlight! Matcha buttercream and berry ganache paired so well, and surprisingly it was not overly sweet. What I always love about Trafiq's cakes is that their cake is not overly sweet, and have very sophisticated flavor. Black forest cupcake and cookie and cream cupcake's presentation was super cute! The cute rounded buttercream on the top of cupcake caught our eye. Cupcake tasted just ok, sponge was decent and cream was softer than I thought. I liked cookie and cream flavor better. Overall, highly recommend this place's dessert and cakes.

Parking is available on the side streets. The place has that bare modern hipster look, with concrete floors, high ceilings, and white tiles. Tables are of the old vintage wood type. Metal chairs aren't the most comfortable, but they do the job. Seating is adequate. There is a hidden section with more seats tucked away in the far corner. Layout is a bit strange in this respect. Staff are friendly. No complaints. Coffee is pretty decent. The place also has brunch and sandwich options, but I didn't try this time.

There were lots of free spots available during the early afternoon mid-week (which is rare for most Vancouver cafes) and there's even a little nook in the back with a big table that's great for co working! We opted to sit in the front which was perfect because it had outlets and pretty good wifi. As for service, the staff were all super attentive and friendly so can't ask for anything else here! While the drinks we got were good, the food was a little lacking to me - I got the Margherita croissant which had no taste and was just an oily mess - but perhaps I just got the wrong thing. I'd try something else next time!

Firstly, there is parking, just be mindful and respectful to those spots that are reserved for other businesses. Once inside you're greeted by the friendly staff. The menu consists of Mexican favourites as well classic north Canadian eats. Do check out their daily specials too while you're there. There is quite a number of tables so if you have a large group I'm sure they can accommodate. We ended up ordering asada quesadilla, comes with pico de gallo, sour cream and a spicy salsa $20. Iced cafe mocha $6 Iced Spanish latte $6 Coffee was fantastic and the quesadilla was good. I saw some people order the breakfast which looked fantastic! That will definitely be my next order! Honestly I don't think you can go wrong with anything your order there. Go support this small business and enjoy the food!

This time on my visit, I got the pistachio matcha latte with soy milk (hot), and the ham and cheese croissant. The latte had a really nice matcha flavor, and was the right amount of sweetness for me. I couldn't really taste the pistachio at first, but after having a few more sips, I noticed the slightly nutty flavor. I would definitely get this again. The croissant was nice and flaky, and had a good amount of filling in it. It was seasoned well and I liked how the cheese oozed out a bit too. The customer service here was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. I accidentally forgot to mention that I wanted to sub the milk for soy, and they were happy to change this as they were making my drink.
