I came to this Starbucks...to get my favorite coffee beverage of course but had been on the look out for a British Columbia Starbucks "been there " cup...I wanted to add to my collection of cups. While I visited several Starbucks during my business trip to the BC area and this was the only Starbucks that had any commemorative cups let alone the one that I wanted. And for that alone I'm giving this location 5 stars. I should say in all seriousness that I didn't have any issues with my drink and food order and I was served quickly and in a friendly manner. The location had plenty of comfy seats for me to chill out and have my coffee and snack before getting back on the road. read more

This is a very good Starbucks location. This Starbucks is very clean and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. They have pictures for the display case, instead of actual food, which alleviates waste. Most Starbucks display food is throwaway, this restaurant doesn't allow waste. This is my second time at this location, and well decided to finally give my review for today! What I like about this location is that it's clean, and I noticed while waiting for my order, there was someone wiping down all the counters, not just behind the counter, but the front parts as well. Let's backtrack to taking my order. So when it was my turn to order, I was politely & pleasantly greeted & was how I was. I answered back, "I'm doing well thanks, how about you?" I think he wasn't expecting to be asked the same question in return, but he happily answered that he was doing great! I then ordered a Matcha Crème Frap & paid with app, he saw my name, and said, "Thanks Krystal, your order will be on this side" (while directing me to my right). I patiently waited for my order while seated, and observed how organized & calm this location/team was. I must say, for this Starbucks, I'm quite impressed with the vibe & experience you have provided. I was on the way to Ikea but realized that the store didn't open for another 45 minutes, so when I saw this Starbucks en route, it beckoned to me like the Sirens of Greek mythology. From the outside, this Starbucks looked a little frumpy and dumpy, being a boxy green-façade building in the corner of a parking lot in an industrial-looking office complex. Totally nothing to write home about. But when you walk through the doors.... wow. What a large, airy, spacious interior, with tons of different seating and table options about, with a separate wall devoted to the ready-made foods and beverages and SB merchandise, and a long, clean counter for ordering and then, further down, for order pick-up. And, bonus, the staff was friendly AND they got my semi-complicated drink order right. Nice! And another bonus: the bathrooms are separated from the restaurant area by way of a dividing wall and a corridor - AND they're clean and well-stocked (at least they were when I visited). I was impressed. I might just stop here now whenever I head to Ikea (!). read more

This is honestly one of the best go to items if your not into coffee and you still wish to get that kick of energy in your system. If your a fan of both mangos and dragon fruits then this is ultimately the best ideal drink for you! * Mango dragonfruit refresher is an amazing drink if you want something with caffeine, flavour, and something to make you feel like it's summer then this is the best thing ever! It's made with dragonfruit, and mango syrup. I like the dragonfruit bits because even though it seem big it fits through the straw perfectly! It's amazing how it's so soft and tender yet they were previously freeze dried! * Pro tip: if you want more flavouring and colour to the drink allow it to sit for a bit then drink it as it tastes way better! * 8/10 - it is a bit sweeter than your average caffeine drink however that's were your burst of energy comes from! I'd ask for more water and less lemonade but that's your preference! * 6/10 - refreshers get pricy. I don't recall the exact price however I used my rewards for it! I sort of hesitate giving this Starbucks 5 stars, only because I don't want everyone else finding out about it and overwhelming it. Reason: This has to be one of the best Starbucks I've ever been in. Interior: newly renovated, and it looks great. Seating: room for about 40 people to sit comfortably, with all sorts of options - a small bar-style row near the till, a long line of singles by the window, 4 lounge chairs, 6 tables-for-2, and a long community table for groups, etc. Very well done. PLUS: there's a smaller, "quiet" space past the counter and around the corner with 8 or 9 padded chairs arranged in a lounge-style room. First Starbucks I've ever seen with this. Serving counter: nice and spacious, with an extra cooler for sandwiches and cold drinks. WiFi: very good - stable and strong. And as an added bonus, Shaw Go WiFi is also available here with an excellent signal. Coffee: it's Starbucks, exactly what you expect! Parking: never a problem. read more

This is my first of MANY Starbucks reviews to come. I figure no one else is as obsessed with me enough to review ANY of them. Weird. And I'm a non-coffee drinker at that. My reviews will come from a perspective more from that of Starbucks being my second office. So the comforts of the facilities and the niceness of the people is what matters most. Hours is one thing too and I love the ones that stay open late - as few as they are. Now Crystal if this tid bit alone doesn't get me on the Elite team I don't know what will. This Richmond location (across from IKEA) has a private meeting room that you can comfortably fit 8 people in - I've had 12 in there. It's free, it's bookable, there's a little white board (bring your own markers), and it's out of the way so no one bugs you. It's actually at the back of the store past the bathrooms. As far as I know that is the ONLY Starbucks in the Lower Mainland with such a room. This alone makes it a 5 Star. On top of that it's a convenient location with lots of parking, ample seating inside and relatively clean bathrooms. The people are nice too. read more

Everytime I go to work, I would need a cup of Starbucks Green Tea Latte to keep me going. I am very surprised by Starbucks Bridgeport's exceptional service. Upon a few visits, one of the store Barista by the name of Ollie (I think this is her name) actually remembered me and my order! Being a coffee snob, it's rare that I would give 5 stars to a Starbucks. The main reason for the high rating is the fantastic seating area. Extra wide bar style tables flank the windows making them great for studying, people watching, or just hanging out in a rainy Vancouver winter. Service was reasonably fast. Parking gets better after regular business hours when the neighboring shops close. Coffee was decent. Line ups are starting to feel long, but there aren't that many other options for coffee in the immediate area. read more

Are all Starbucks the same? This is a bigger location, it looks like it was recently updated, lots of seats, though only a few couches. It's a busy location, in a cavernous store. One downside of the high ceiling in this location is that sound carries and echoes, making it very noisy, not a location to choose if you want quiet meeting if you are sat at the front of the store. That said several other reviews speak of a meeting room, which sadly now does not exist. It's been converted into a quiet area, with lots of couches, a much more relaxing area for a coffee. It's hidden down the hallway to the left of the counter, past the toilets. Staff were quick and friendly, and it's a clean location. A large selection of other things to eat and drink besides the usual coffee. Well worth checking out. read more

This is the worst Starbucks I have ever shopped in. I go all the way back to the number 2 store in University village in Seattle. I am a total coffee addict and usually like the consistency of getting the same taste each time. That just doesn't happen anymore.The new machines need to be calibrated or you get brown water. The training is suffering because of the fast turnover. This store is horrible because of the staff that work there I had a very uncomfortable experience with MICHELLE on August 14th. I was buying flooring in Richmond with a fellow Starbucks addict and had to stop for a pick me up. Michelle was so loud and rude that the people in the store became quiet and were staring at us. There is something wrong with her. People are not usually that aggressive and loud in a retail store. I usually shop on Granville and 10th which is a mecca compared to this place. Starbucks needs to get a lid on the quality of people hired. The manager heard the ruckus and came over but she was even worse. We ran out of that store. This Starbucks has the BEST, staff and service .....bar none!! The people that work here are not only very good at their jobs but they are some of the kindest and most wonderful people I've ever met. After my sister went through a year long illness and then passed away...these beautiful people treated me with love, understanding and caring.
