What I got: Iced Cherry Chai - topped with a cherry flavoured cold foam withfloral and almond flavor and a cherry flavoured topping I think one of the best featured item I had in starbucks. Chai had strong flavor and sweetness was perfect. (I chose less ice) cherry flavoured cold foam was addictive. Very creamy and matched with chai so well. Came here afterschool with my partner to grab snacks and drinks. My partner ordered a lemon loaf, and when the employee, Aryana, picked it up, it accidentally crumbled to pieces. Aryana offered my partner a full refund for the lemon loaf, but my partner insisted it was okay and paid for it. I went up shortly after to order a drink, and Aryana said the drink was on her because she felt terrible about the lemon loaf. When I went to get my drink, she had prepared two, one for me and one for my partner. She is probably the kindest employee I've ever met. Provided exceptional service for something that wasn't even her fault. If you go to this location and Aryana is taking your order, be extra kind to her. She is lovely. read more

This is the service and quality I miss at certain Starbucks locations. Let me state the obvious that the girls that work here are great. Warm, welcoming, friendly and clearly have great customer service skills. My drink was fantastic...and I've had some duds lately as well as crap service near my local area. I have this starbucks as my closest one so I come here to get my winter "gourmet" fix when I am not downtown or on Commercial Drive. The coffee here is standard Starbucks, the service is great (very freindly)but I think the attention span of workers is very limited. I ordered 2 items "for here" and specifically wanted them in cups that were not "to go". We had time and its ridiculous to create more garbage than what Starbucks already creates and does not offer recycling. My usual practice is to order in ceramic and consume it on the spot. On both orders I actually witnessed the barista make a mistake and put them in to go cups but last minute, forgetting it was to consume in shop, actually dumped the beverages into ceramic cups and discarded the to go ones. Luckily as he was about to discard the last one I stopped him and said "wait! Just give it to me as is. The point was to not use disposable cups." Now you are using the cups,for two seconds and then throwing them away. How ridiculous. Shows Starbuck's commitment to reducing waste.. nothing. And the workers are so used to it they normalize waste. read more

Even if you have never experienced blinding road rage, this parking lot will provoke it. Even as a pedestrian I find navigating it adrenaline inducing! But... 1. The Server's are high quality. They are unharried but efficient in a crush of customer's. The person in front of me today ordered as if this was a complex ritual at their temple of Java. Meanwhile, the woman behind me huffed impatiently & took off mad. The Server's take a lot of garbage and I appreciate they are still personable! 2. The natural light is great. 3. There is adequate seating in & outside. Convenient for lengthy meetings or work sesh. 4. The washroom is much used but is not gross. 5. My friend also got a brown sugar oat espresso and it tasted like burnt garbage. We tried it out again thinking maybe it was just a bad onetime experience and we ordered frappuccinos. As long as I'm not waiting forever for my ever so anticipated bevy and as long as my bevy is what I've asked for then you will always get a thumbs up from this gal. I so love the red holiday cups and bevy's. How can one not like a peppermint mocha, egg nog latte, salted caramel mocha or the caramel brulee latte. They are all so very delicious, especially when I can tweak them all to be nonfat and half sweet or reduced fat if we're talking about the egg nog latte. Merry, Merry Holiday Drinks..
