Ordered a kids lemonade using the mobile order app. Order did not come out for 10 minutes and watched others who came in after me get their orders. Asked a worker and was told to wait. A couple minutes later I asked again and they found the order label on the counter. A lady called shark was extremely rude and sassy. Me and my friends were here to meet together for coffee before work and she kept on telling us that we are wrong- for example, when my friend was trying to put the cap on a drink. She told me that the cap wouldn't fit as she pointed at the trashcan as if that's where I belong. She exhibits very rude behaviour that really encourages me and my friends to not visit often. She also made comments of us being too loud which we understand but she said it in a very rude way, which made us feel very hurts and noninclusive in the friendlier environment of Starbucks. read more

There is a really nice employee there, his name is John. He is a Asian male, maybe in his 30s. He was very nice, I am 15 and I have social anxiety, but talking to him was very easy, he was nice and understanding. It's one of my favourite places to go to for working on thing. There's plenty of seating (a variety of choices, I must say). I enjoy the tall chair especially since I have fairly long legs. Not a lot of starbucks have that many tall chairs! Could get quite rowdy at times. But if you go after 5:30 PM, there's always room and it will be pretty quiet by then. read more

A very big and roomy Starbucks, located right in the heart of Kerrisdale. Free parking is located a block away or you can find meter parking usually within a block's radius. Closes late and opens early, this Starbucks is a good place for studying if you're a student or just for people watching when it's warm outside. When it's cold, there's a row of tables with heaters that you can ask them to turn on. Also a centre fireplace with couch seating that they turn on in the winter. End of the day, the west facing windows get a lot of sunshine. As usual, the employees are nice and friendly! read more

One of my more favourite ones, despite its hectic, noise-rising ambience, b/c it's one o f the rare ones that oozes comfy-ness: that fireplace in the middle has something to do with it lol, with comfortable sofa-like chairs on either side. Plus in the back, there's a communal table, & action window seating; and on nice days like today, outdoor seating along the side street is pretty cool too. Service is friendly too, ask if you even want a receipt; good for them on saving paper. read more

I visit this location regularly. I find the staff very accommodating but service is extremely slow most of the time. I understand they are often short-staffed, by no fault of their own, but several times, even when there was one person in front of me, I ended either waiting over 10 min. for a drink or being served the wrong type of drink. Having friendly staff is a big plus, but if they are incompetent, customers will not be impressed. read more

Good staff who are helpful and polite. Drinks are well made most of the time. Like most Starbucks, no matter the location it will have its busy times with lots of traffic but I've been fortunate enough to be able to get a seat everytime. read more

A fine SB with fine service. Lots of seating, (although they seems to always be full,) a warm environment, and if you take your food and drink to go, you can take a risk and park your car for "free" at the meters while keeping one eye on your spot just outside. If you come after 9 am, it's not as busy, either. Next time, I will check out Faubourg across the street for a breakfast pastry instead of buying one here. (Silly me!) Still, the hot egg/bacon/cheese sandwiches do the trick if you don't think about the fact that you're eating what is probably powdered eggs. (eww). Waited over 10 minutes for two drinks despite it being slow. The two people on the floor seemed to be more occupied with chatting with each other than making drinks promptly. One of the drinks was made improperly - told the barista and she did apologize. The guy making the drink was just super slow. The other drink was way too sweet compared to the other times I have ordered it. Don't think we will be back. read more

Service is fine, drinks and goodies are good enough for me, and it's nice and cozy inside. I'm not a coffee drinker and yet I've come here a lot just for the treats and their blended strawberry lemonade. However, ever since Starbucks (in general) has implemented free wifi, it's ridiculously hard to find a seat. Let's face it: tons of people sitting down in there overstay their welcome. They take advantage of the free wifi and stay there for hours. This probably isn't Starbucks' fault, but they could at least politely tell them to leave so that other customers can sit down! read more

Jessica was quite rude and told me and my friend to leave just because we didn't buy anything. Last I checked, water was free and as a former employee of Starbucks I know how much coffee and cream is wasted everyday. Surely, a little bit of cream can be spared for a cup of tea brought from home. maybe this particular location is more interested in making money then building customer relations. read more

Just love the location but coffee is average. So many windows and always a decent buzz. I signed up for their rewards card a year or two ago and their weekly deals are addicting! This cozy home-away-from-home has been fattening up the kids of Kerrisdale with high-sugar drinks and stunting their growth with caffeine for many successful years. It was recently renovated, with a sleeker bar and baller Clover machine. I would've been impressed, had I not seen the makeovers done on certain Starbucks locations I frequent in Los Angeles. Given the successful and relatively affluent location in the heart of Kerrisdale, I would've liked to see something more interesting. Every neighborhood needs a starbucks including Kerrisdale. This is no exception. It isn't in a heavy business district, however, it always seems to be busy of just seniors and those retired lingering for hours. I like this SB that I hit up on the way to see my best friend in the Dunbar area 'cause even though it is always busy, the vibe is more laid back and people are very happy to share a seat with you. Actually most of the elderly are happy when I join them. Most ask me a dozen questions about my neon yellow hair and some crack really dry humor jokes. Customer service is really awesome, patient and upbeat. You have to be given the demographic compared to the other Starbucks that the chains have a reputation for catering. read more

Travelled to this location for a change of pace but sadly was disappointed. I excused the dirty counter and multiple coffee errors witnessed as they were short of staff. It was not an excuse though for deliberatly ignoring a child who politely asked for a glass of water. I saw that she was heard and understood too. Then the staff member served 7 more customers who came after us. It wasn't until I went back up and had to ask him not to continue ignoring her that she was served. Unacceptable. read more

I've been there twice and the experience was bad. Last time, the girl who took my order (Santana) was rude and chatting with other co-worker, not even paying attention to me.
