It's one of my favourite places to go to for working on thing. There's plenty of seating (a variety of choices, I must say). I enjoy the tall chair especially since I have fairly long legs. Not a lot of starbucks have that many tall chairs! Could get quite rowdy at times. But if you go after 5:30 PM, there's always room and it will be pretty quiet by then.

A very big and roomy Starbucks, located right in the heart of Kerrisdale. Free parking is located a block away or you can find meter parking usually within a block's radius. Closes late and opens early, this Starbucks is a good place for studying if you're a student or just for people watching when it's warm outside. When it's cold, there's a row of tables with heaters that you can ask them to turn on. Also a centre fireplace with couch seating that they turn on in the winter. End of the day, the west facing windows get a lot of sunshine. As usual, the employees are nice and friendly!

Been here three times now and 2 out 3 experiences was not good. Ordered the salad and the guy threw the fork on top. When I asked for a bag, he bagged it and pushed the salad to me. Um...we're not that far from each other. Handing it to me would be fine too ya know. Sucks this is the closest one to me and I usually grab and go.

Tip: Request whole milk in your next tall latte. It's similar to something they have in the UK called a Flat White.

    Review Highlights - Starbucks

I like this SB that I hit up on the way to see my best friend in the Dunbar area 'cause even though it is always busy, the vibe is more laid back and people are very happy to share a seat with you

Unfortunately, it was not the same. I was glad to see the same amazing pastries and tarts and sandwiches, all fresh and beautifully displayed in the display case. I ordered a croissant and it was superb as usual. I also ordered one of thier baguettes to bring home. My kid and I think SV has the best baguettes in the city. They are crusty on the outside, soft yet chewy inside, and just consistently perfect. This one was as good as all the others we've had from here. Yeah! I wanted an Earl Grey tea which IMO is a pretty basic order. Surprisingly, they did not have it. I got a green tea instead (their tea selection was very limited). And the girl who took my order, as well as the girl who rang me up at the cash, could NOT have been more aloof. I smiled and tried to make a little small talk, especially with the girl at the cash when I took out my debit card and asked how to pay (she just pointed at the tap symbol on the machine but my card is not tap-enabled. I always joke with people about this). This girl would not even look at me. Zero eye contact. No "thank you", nada. I just got really cold vibes from the two of them there at the counter. (At least when I picked up my tea at the beverage counter, the guy there made eye contact and semi smiled). (Side note: the staff at the Yaletown site have always been super pleasant and friendly, and this really makes a difference. To me, anyhow). Contrary to another reviewer's posting, the restaurant and the washroom was very clean when I visited here. No issues there. Honestly, I'm not sure I'll return to this site. There are so many cafes and bakeries around, I'd rather go to one with a warmer vibe. Or stay with my Yaletown SV.

The pastries look out of this world--flaky croissants, gorgeous tarts, and sourdough that's worth the trip alone- maybe next time, I'll be able to grab a few. The coffee though, nice! Rich, smooth, and clearly made with care. If you want delicious baking, great coffee, and room to breathe, this place is a true Vancouver gem.

It's very light, slightly acrid, and highly recommend because it didn't leave me feeling heavy in my stomach unlike some oat lattes do. I loved the croissant. It was crispy on the outside (but not crunchy), soft on the inside, with a lovely butter flavour. (Pro tip) dip your butter croissant in the last 1/4 of your latte iykyk study/work space: 4.5/5 They have seating space in the back which was bright and clean. Signature flaky pastry with a vibrant center of whipped matcha cream layered over tangy strawberry jam, finished with a fresh strawberry and matcha dusting. Dough was very crispy outside just like they described signature flaky pastry. And whipped matcha cream had strong matcha flavor, very creamy and not overly sweet. So, it paired with strawberry jam so well. Strawberry jam had well-balanced tangy and sweet flavors, I really liked it. I highly recommend this item! Service was very good and friendly
