Yuzu espresso tonic
Gloria F.

A beautiful shop for drinks and coffee that is also attached to a sales presentation center The set up is quite nice with nice furniture, natural lighting. They also have patio seating outside I was going to grab some coffee to-go but it was so nice that they had some toys for my toddler, I was able to enjoy my coffee The baristas were helpful when I asked about their espresso tonic. Currently they are offering Yuzu espresso tonic. It totally hit the spot! Also liked their funny wall photos of Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively

After I had a very salty meal in a nearby restaurant, I was craving for coffee and I was delighted to find Timbertrain Coffee was just 3 min walk away. This location called Outpost is a crossover venue and Timbertrain Coffee is located inside with EQ3 furnitures for the coffee shop. I felt so comfy and relax in such a cozy interior. Staff members are nice and produced good quality of coffee. I'm sure I will never feel disappointed with Timbertrain Coffee and no exception for this one. The coffee after taste was bold and texture was creamy-silky. My favourite, always. Well done!

Blackberry and Brie Grilled Cheese, Vegan Rye Cookie, Tropical Espresso Spritz

Really nice aesthetic at this coffee shop, which is situated alongside a presentation centre and also features a small pop-up shop from Fable (housewares). The layout is very open but still features a good amount of comfortable seating including seating for large groups, and a beautiful patio out back. The service was friendly. I had a blackberry & brie grilled cheese, a vegan rye cookie, and a tropical espresso spritz (seasonal drink, like an espresso tonic with coconut and pineapple flavours). Everything was really good! I love fruit with brie cheese so the grilled cheese was an easy winner for me. The blackberry spread was tart and jammy which balanced out the rich brie cheese. I loved the funky flavour of rye in the cookie and the chewiness. The espresso spritz was very refreshing in this hot weather! It had deflated a little by the time I took the picture, but it had an impressively foamy crema layer. Even though nothing was really fancy or experimental, all the food/drink items I tried had something to make them a little unique.

Super excited about this new Timbertrain location in Port Moody converted from a previous condo presentation center! The whole place is gorgeous and everything you could want from a cafe. It's part of a bigger "outpost" space that still has a presentation center, Northpoint Brewing and some shop items. There's also a beautiful Port Moody mural outside. The staff was nice and very quick with our orders. The coffee was perfect and had great latte art. They're also dog friendly with doggie treats too! Definitely recommend!

We saw postings from others about this Timbertrain Coffee shop in Port Moody. We finally came here to try their coffee and enjoyed the interior decor and ambience on Sunday afternoon. The weather was gorgeous as well!! Its the beginning of October but it felt like summer. There is a parking outside the coffee shop, so it's quite convenient and customers can park and go for a coffee or beer. No worries about finding parking at all. This coffee shop is attached with Hue Sales Gallery or a Presentation Centre. I hope the coffee shop will stay and continue doing business in Port Moody as the community needs more great coffee shops like this! Just don't want anymore Starbucks or Tim Hortons LOL My sister and I ordered a cup of 12 oz latte and a cup of 8oz flat white with soy. Both tasted great!! The texture of the latte was very smooth, rich and full of coffee flavour. (FYI - some latte outside are full of milk that we can't even taste coffee!) The pricing is reasonable. They sell coffee beans here but we didn't buy any as we roast our own coffee beans at home. I might try to buy a bag of their coffee beans next time and see if they are good. Also, they sell beer here! If customers don't want to drink coffee, order beer with food, pastries or bread. It's still a great option. Grab a coffee or beer and sit at the patio right outside the coffee shop with beautiful pedant lights on the ceiling. The coffee shop has also done a great job on landscaping. I love their simple landscaping plan but with different plants and flowers for decorations. The overall ambience and interior decorations are great. It's just very comfy and spacious to sit inside or outside the coffee shop. It deserves a five star review and of course I highly recommend others to come here if you are in Port Moody!

A great addition to the coffee scene in Port Moody. I loved the uniqueness of this Timbertrain outpost and how it has little pop ups of local vendors inside. There is lots of room for working as well as getting together with friends. There is also a little corner that is perfect for parents with littles and a play area. Super friendly people behind the counter with a smashing vibe makes this a must visit whenever out for a trip to the Tri Cities area!

Truly, you know the food, coffee & tea is good when there's times that the line up nearly goes to the door & no seats are available inside or out. Certain times of the year they have special drinks featured but the staff is so wonderful that if there's something you liked from a past season, if they still have the ingredients, they'll make it. Lately, Ginger Rogers is my treat to boost my day. Honestly, I've tried so many food options & haven't had a meh reaction to any. There's wraps & paninis plus desserts & cookies & take home items ranging from pancake & cookie mixes, jams & syrups to frozen meals. I think it's decently priced for being in this part of the world & like I mentioned, it's always a decent meal or snack. For accessibility, all the tables are moveable. So you could adjust away from the benches & chairs to allow a walker or wheel chair. But as this cafe is smaller, for those with baby strollers, I would recommend leaving them outdoors & bringing in the essentials with your baby/kids. The door isn't automatic but the handles & space around would allow for most to access the doors (providing that the local puppers aren't tied right next to the door & baby strollers are parked far enough back). Parking has one handicap but I would actually recommend parking closer to the vet clinic side, as that would be easier for drop off & pick up for those with mobility aids. There's also a generous patio area for people to sit with umbrellas. So it is very common to see many people sitting with their dogs outside enjoying the weather & a coffee. Bathrooms (there's 2) are accessed by keys provided by staff. It's been a long time since I needed to use them but they were in decent condition considering the range of people that could use them in the day. Might be a bit tricky to maneuver a wheelchair that way but walker & cane users could navigate past the extra door, random pop-up displays & extra table in the business lobby side. This cafe also allows laptop usage throughout the week but laptop free on weekends. After what I seen today (& it has increased in amount of people from other days I've seen), I'm very glad that's the case. Some people legit bring their whole office, including their screen raisers, extra tech options to headphones and such... I personally think if you need to take up a 4 seat space for your "online needs" & you give off the energy that it's serious work, perhaps the library down the road (which allows room bookings so you could do webinars or group work) or look to rent a temp office space might be better for work. But that's just my two cents as a disabled person who notices this happening more often in a lot more cafes lately. I hope these extra tech office travellers at least buy more than a coffee as all the food is really great here & this cafe deserves to be well supported by all. Definitely give it a try if you're in the PoMo area. Especially if you're already planning on walking into the inlet area to Rocket Point park & pier.

When I asked if it was actually a cold brew, I was met with attitude and defensiveness. I was a barista for years, so from my perspective, that level of service was unacceptable. If it were me behind the bar, I would have said something like, "You know what, that doesn't look right. Can I add a shot of espresso or get you something else instead?" A little honesty and willingness to make it right go a long way. Fail.

The hashbrown bites were nice and crispy. Their doughnuts all looked enticing, but I picked the wrong one. I chose creme brulee, which had a hard icing on top. It was crunchy, which did not go well with the pillowy soft doughnut. I peeled the entire top off, but enjoyed the vanilla filling. Although I didn't like this doughnut, I could tell it was freshly baked and I would return to try their other flavours. There was only 1 woman working in the cafe and she was so friendly. The interior is aesthetically pleasing and seating is comfortable. I went early on a weekday morning so I was able to find street parking, however finding parking could be challenging, especially on the weekend.
