    Hot chocolate!
    Ashley N.

Came here on a whim as I was in the neighbourhood! Was craving hot chocolate on this cold rainy November day. First off, this cafe has a lot of seating area! I was impressed. It wasn't too busy on a Friday afternoon. Lighting for reading my book was good. There were a lot of people sitting with laptops for work/school. The hot chocolate was so delicious! There was so much depth - I tasted some deeper mocha and roasted flavours that took it up a notch. I'm glad this hot chocolate just didn't taste like hot milk with chocolate, as I've been disappointed at other cafes before. Will be coming back!

Great food and drinks! Many vegan and vegetarian options. Wonderful changing menu. The server Morrigan was especially helpful and made a great drink. Would definitely recommend!

Chickpea Smash Wrap, Fleur de Sel Brownie, Crimson Iced Tea

I was really impressed by my first visit here! Lots of seating available inside and a few tables outside. Nice atmosphere/aesthetic and lots of seating, but some of the seating is a little tight. The staff was friendly. All of their baked goods looked fantastic! All of the food is housemade, including the bakes. There are good options for vegans here: a sandwich and a wrap and a few baked goods (muffin and cookie, maybe there were others but I didn't get as good of a look). I noticed that they had "gluten-friendly" muffins, but they were in the same case as non-gf baked goods, touching, so not very helpful if you have a serious issue with gluten like celiac. Drink menu also had some fun seasonal stuff in addition to the standards. I got the vegan chickpea smash wrap, a fleur de sel brownie, and a crimson iced tea. The chickpea wrap was sort of like a vegan breakfast wrap, but kind of also just doing its own thing. It had memorable flavours, different from other vegan wraps at coffee shops. I especially loved their vegan ricotta in the wrap! The brownie was as good as it looked - very dense and fudgy. The salt was added tastefully and enhanced the chocolate. I was indifferent on the iced tea, but that's just because I don't like hibiscus very much (I was expecting "crimson iced tea" to mean rooibos, but it was actually hibiscus), so I'll have to try something else to be able to make a fair judgement on their drinks. The total for food was about $21 which I think is fair. The quality was pretty high across the board. The wrap was a modest size but it was enough for a light meal.

Great flat white coffee! Also loved the olive oil cake. Ample seating available and friendly staff. Various baked goods on offer, will be back to try more in future.

Google reviews have highly rated this coffee shop, so I would like to try it too. It did NOT disappoint me at all! I ordered a 12oz latte and raspberry white chocolate scone for takeout. There was lineup around 12noon but the wait was not bad at all. The coffee shop was full of people. Some were waiting in line and some were dining in despite of Omicron. I had a first sip of the latte. Whooaaa so smooth and smelt very good. The temperature of the latte was about right. Sometimes some of the latte I order from other coffee shop were very hot that it could burn my tongue. Honestly, my top pick to have the best latte in Greatee Vancouver would still be Prototype Coffee, but this Foglifter Coffee Roasters is good enough and it is comparable with Matchstick and Elysian Coffee. This coffee shop is passionate about making good coffee. They have some unique pastries and sweets. I only tried raspberry white chocolate scone. Oh man it was really good even though it was cold already. I could imagine it would be freaking good if I ate one right out of the oven!! I would recommend others to try their coffee and pastries if you are in the neighbourhood. Parking is not an issue. There is street "paid" parking but I personally hate to pay for parking, so I parked on a small street in a residential area and just walked to the coffee shop.

Great coffee shop on Main. The baristas were super friendly, the coffee and pastries were spot on - and the selection of single origin coffee beans were perfect! Glad we grabbed a bag - happily drinking it this morning.

    Carrot cake and small latte

Lovely little spot on Main Street. Snuck in here for a mid-afternoon treat. Helpful staff and quick service. Enjoyed the carrot cake and a small decaf latte. Lots of seating inside and ample opportunity to sit away from others if you come when it's not busy. Note - they do have a 1 hour seating limit, which absolutely makes sense. Wish more places did that!

Modest portion, which i served on a dessert plate.

They serve the best carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. Their other cakes and danishes are equally delicious. I tried their fudge cake for the first, it was calling out to me and I decided to give it a chance over my regular favourite carrot cake. The fudge cake was delicious, but very crumbly. However, if I'm charged almost $5 with the expectation of a tip even though this was a take out then a more generous portion will be appreciated.

Fast, friendly service in a clean, modern setting. Good variety of home baked goods and sandwiches. Plenty of indoor seating with small outside area. Customers can add their own cream and sugar, etc plus you're expected to bus your own table when finished. They roast their own coffee, and it was ok, not the best I've ever had but ok. Tastes slight burnt, imo, compared to other places that serve espresso based coffee. Don't know if their drip coffee is the same.

A gorgeous, quiet coffee shop on Main and 20th with amazing, quality espresso and delicious pastries! Serving smooth and creamy, yet bold and strong espresso, Foglifter easily became my favorite coffee shop in the Main Street area. With a light fruity and nutty blend, Foglifter has a very unique espresso taste that goes well with every milk option offered. 10/10 I would see definitely recommend any of their espresso drinks! They also offer a wide variety of pastries, wraps and sandwiches to pair with your morning cup of joe or afternoon pick-me-up. I paired my coffee with their spinach and feta muffin and it was such a great combo. Super moist, light and filled with spinach, this savory muffin felt like I was eating a cloud! The subtle saltiness complimented my coffee well. The staff was super friendly too and I loved the calming ambience of the cafe. I can't wait to come back!

We got a cappuccino to go from Foglifter and do have to give props to their branded cups. The interior is clean and welcoming and a great place to meet up with friends. I felt that the cappuccino was a bit too bitter for me but R was a huge fan of it so ended up settling in four stars. I may have to get my usual latte next time to compare as I usually like to have a bit more milk in my drinks. Overall, another great coffee addition to the Main St area.

A modern corner space with sophisticated style served up with neighborhood friendliness, Foglifter Coffee Roasters' flagship café fits right into the current vibe of this stretch of Main Street that boasts quality antique and consignment stores as well as hip boutiques and eateries. It's a refreshing makeover for the team that brought us Bean Around the World, and I can see myself stopping by again for a quick take-out or leisurely linger-in. All coffee is brewed or pulled from Foglifter's variety of in-house roasts, bags of which are available for purchase by the till. They're into carefully sourced single-origin beans, so choosing your brew is like picking a travel destination. Whether it's a cup of medium roast Brazil (peanut, orange, vanilla) or darker roast Peru (molasses, milk chocolate, campfire apples), there's surely something for everyone. They also serve organic tea from Cowichan Valley's Westholme Tea and an array of comforting baked goods such as cookies, muffins, and croissants. And if you like the decor, some of it is actually art by Vancouver Island artists available for sale.

The Hubs and I are on the prowl for a new coffee roaster joint, and this place popped up within our vicinity. We came by on a sunny BC day and there were a steady amount of people coming and going, with some patrons studying or working while others are there for a cafe conversation. This place have a row of 10 couple seaters along the windows - perfect for studying or working. Wifi and plus are available. The patio on the side street have about 5 bistro style tables. Decor is minimally vintage-modern. Menu-wise, they serve all the usual: espresso coffees, baked goods, and sandwiches. They also sell their own roasted beans, other teas and some shirts and hats. As usual, the Hubs and I ordered a cappuccino as a benchmark - one size only and $3.90 (I think it is an 8 oz). The cappuccino is definitely stronger brew, less creamy and milk content, and fruiter than a lot of coffee places we have been. Not bad at all. Overall: We rated this place 4.5*, but bumped it up to 5 as we can't do half stars yet. Overall, love the shop with good coffee. Will be back.

Although the coffee and baked goods are nice, the music is way too loud. It is hard to hear if you are with a friend or coworkers.

I felt a strange vibe when I entered and noticed that there were very few customers compared to the normally busy shop that I know at the beginning of the year - the last time I visited this Blenz location. With no greeting from the lady at the counter, I walked up to say we are ordering the coffee by donation. She gladly said sure and then asked what size. I said large, and then my guest ordered medium. I then asked where to put the donation, just as I saw the pink donation box. There was no opening to deposit my donation so I asked where to put in the money. The lady fiddled with the box and finally found a hole in the BACK. Although I thought this was unusual, I placed my donation in the box. Meanwhile, my guest noticed that the lady was punching in the drinks and had the credit card machine ready to charge us for the drinks!!!! I asked why she is charging us, and she explained that coffee by donation means we pay for the drinks and then the store donates the money collected. I said all these years (as I've been a loyal Blenz customer since its beginning), it has always been a free coffee and then I donate a sum of my choice. She said well every store is different. My guest and I were quite puzzled, and after looking at each other with a "hmm" look, I said forget it, and told her that she shouldn't be charging us. I almost felt like taking back the donation from the box, mostly fearing that she'll probably take that money for herself as well, but thought it will tacky and classless. So we left, went to another Blenz on Broadway, and there, we were served our coffees properly. With that, I left a bigger tip.
