My mom loves coming here when we're choosing a place to hangout, and I can kinda see why. The food is great, the fries are to die for, and they also have a pretty solid beer selection.. That being said, the service is always kind of hit or miss depending on the day. I've also tried a lot of their beers that they offer, and I still find myself searching for something just a tiny bit lighter than their current selection. I haven't really found one here yet that fully hits the spot for me. Overall though, the food keeps us coming back. Plus they have a lovely outside area that you can hangout at.. and who doesn't love that?

Food was delicious, but service could've used some help. Once we arrived, we sat at one of the booths. It's been a while since we've been here and couldn't remember if we ordered at the bar or if we had to order at our table. We went to the bar and he handed us the menus. Didn't say anything and continued to help the person in front of us. When the guy finished paying, we were next and there was no hi or anything. Just "I'll take your order at your table." I looked at my wife and said, ok. Back to the booth we go. We proceeded back to the table, looked over the menus and he arrived to take our order. We ordered the Drunken Nachos, Hawaiian Sweet and Spicy Wings and the Natalie Bites. We also ordered to drink a Pliny the Younger and an orange juice for our daughter. After, he proceeded to another table and take their order too. He went back to the bar to punch in the orders (not ours) and came back to our table to ask what we ordered again. Probably should've written it down if taking multiple orders and couldn't remember. When he got our order again, he went back to the bar and two other people arrived to sit at the bar. Proceeded to help them and serve them their drinks first. Keep in mind we were about 10 minutes in already and no waters were at the table either. Overall, this is not what we expected from We're Pouring and we're hoping that it was just an off day even though it wasn't even busy the day we went. We've been here several times before as I love craft beer and never received this kind of service. Here's to hoping for a better experience next time because we love the food and beer selection.

Cheers for the best bar in LA!

Great beer selections on tap. The food, while not mind-blowing, was perfect for an inebriated night out. Food: 3/5 Price: 4.5/5 Experience: 4/5

Hazy or what?!

We really loved this place. Super chill and very friendly. Selection is top notch and prices are what the are in they area ($10 pints). The menu is fantastic. Not too many items and everything was yummy. Wings were massive. I would ask to have them a bit crispier but that's a preference. Tacos were too good. I'd be a regular if I lived nearby.

Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich

We're Pouring in Glendale is such a great spot. The Nashville hot sandwich was seriously amazing -- super crispy, tons of flavor, and the heat was just right. On top of that, the beer selection is awesome with plenty of great options to choose from. Everything just hits. Can't wait to come back. Oh and outdoor seating as well. Bring Fido!

Bella Bites

A top-tier spot for anyone who enjoys Nashville-style fried chicken sandwiches. The sandwich was big, crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. The fries were solid, and the bite-size appetizer was hot and cheesy. Overall, it's a slightly fancier spot that works great for a date night.

Do you take reservations for large parties?

Yes we do. For parties of 10 or more. But we do not take reservations on Fridays and Saturdays depend on the time.

Do they have NFL Sunday Ticket for out of market games?

We do! We only have 4 tv’s, so we can’t play every game. It’s first come first served 🍻

Any vegan options? If so, are they any good?

Just a few vegan options but I'm sure they would love suggestions. Their great chef could probably whip up something amazing. For now you can order Fries pickles with no sauce, Churros (?) with chocolate sauce, or the Whitney salad (shaved…

Has anyone tried the brunch menu?

The brunch menu, I'm told, is "coming soon." I understand they're hoping to have it ready for football season.

Do they have vegan cheese pizza?

No ?

Why such a long hiatus? The tap list over the last months just hasn't had anything I've wanted to drink. It's been a lot of repeats of things I've had over and over or beers that just aren't appealing -- or, in many cases, both. The Glendale Tap used to have a fairly good turnover of new brews, but lately, it seems to be in a rut. Imports are pretty much never to be seen -- like everywhere else, sadly. Even out-of-state beers are rare. And on my most recent visit, at least half of the tap list was tapped out. IPAs and sours take up so much of the list -- stouts in the cooler months -- while styles like bitters, milds, (non-India) pale ales, brown ales, bocks, amber lagers, smoked beers, etc., get little to no space on the tap list. I still love the atmosphere of the Glendale Tap, and the bartenders there are the best. Prices are fair, and there's always something at least decent to drink. But I miss those fulsome tap lists with a variety of beer styles from far and wide. More and more, the Glendale Tap is becoming too much like every other beer bar. I know L.A. beer drinkers are extremely parochial with very limited tastes (basically IPA, IPA, IPA, and IPA, with some super sours thrown in), but I would hope the Glendale Tap could return to just a smidgen of its former excellence. Until then, I probably will be visiting biannually instead of bimonthly.

The loft tables have one set above each table! If you want to play a game while you drink and chat, they have a nice array available to borrow. While Lawless is strictly a brewhouse pub, w/o a kitchen, they do host a rotating schedule of food trucks and vendors, or you can bring your own food in. We saw one table unpack and set up a charcuterie board for their drinking/snacking, socializing group of 8. How cool! With a wide variety of house beverages on tap, Lawless is a great space for gatherings, hanging out, socializing and just plain ol' good vibing. We were here for a trivia tournament, but the pub was popping with many others who regularly drink here. Check out their website and social media posts for current events like trivia, bingo, karaoke and even movie screenings! There are parking spaces in the private parking lot, otherwise street and neighborhood parking wasn't bad either. Pups are welcome, gender neutral bathrooms were clean, they also offer a water bottle filling station and complimentary cold water. Pups are also welcome! I'm tempted to pop on over to Republic of Pie, just up the street on Lankershim, grab a savory pie and bring it back to Lawless to enjoy with a crafted adult libation. Cheers! "CC"

My coworker's pick for a Friday evening, wasn't too busy and I'm not sure why?…read more A classic sports bar setup with a small outdoor patio, the space and service felt familiar. The people here were nice and had a corky humour to them. Our table got two sausage platters, frickles, lemon pepper wings, and a pretzel. There is usually an expectation for American bar food before you enter the establishment, and they all lived up to the hype. The textures were amazing, fried food was crispy on the outside, soft and juicy on the inside. Sausages had a bite to them and tender in the middle. Flavour profiles here were smoky, punchy, sweet, and vinegary. The lettuce mix under the sausages was a nice touch too. This fed four perfectly. Great variety of beer too! Loved the additions of a rice lager and a sour. A great spot for hanging out with friends, snacking, and snacking... and snacking till you realise that was dinner!

What a friendly local bar and a great place to catch sports. I watched one of the World Cup…read moresemi-final games here and it was the perfect destination. Hungary didn't make it to the World Cup this year so that was a bit of a bummer, considering my fam is from the old country. However, my second all-time fave, France, was still in the semi-finals. You see, I grew up watching Zinedine Zidane and to me, the World Cup brings back childhood memories and family bonding time. The menu items took me back in time. Much to my surprise, I noticed that there was a Hungarian kielbasa & a Debreziner sausage listed on their $10 lunch deal. I was shocked that I had the opportunity to debate over which one to pick. DEBREZINER sausage (in German) or for us Hungarians, is better known as "Debreceni Virsli" and made in the region where my dad's side of the fam grew up. It's often served cut up on the sides and has a richer color. For me, it's a bit juicier and there's more paprika in there. It's more along the lines of chorizo, if that's what your flavorbuds prefer. It's made with sweet and hot paprika, garlic, pepper, and marjoram. If my dad had been with me that day, he'd opt for the Debreziner. After deliberating for a bit, I decided to go with the HUNGARIAN KIELBASA and decked it out with grilled onions, sauerkraut, and jalapeños (very hot, stated the menu). The jalapeños rivaled the outside 100+ degree temperature. Thankfully, the cool AC made me forget it was one sweltering summer's day. Also, the Hibiscus Cider was crisp and made my experience and the lackluster game worth my time out. I loved how easy the ordering went-just tap the menu on the iPad and voila, you got the whole spiel. Service was quick and felt welcoming like I was at home in someone's living room with tons of TVs all around. Sadly, France didn't show up to play in the game until the last 5 mins or so. Spain obvi deserved the win and yes, this year's cup for their fancy footwork. The vibe was great and the crowd around me were locals on a first name basis with the staff. With awesome cider and food as tasty as I had growing up at home, I think I'll make it a goal to be on a first name basis around here during the NHL & NFL season.
