Very chill and casual spot. food was solid and had a good time chatting and sharing everything with friends. would def recommend with a group of at least 3-4 so you can do family style. decor was nice and subtle and they have taiwnese beer. good flavors and good vibes.

Was very excited for this place and didn't expect the portions to be this huge, definitely better to come with a bigger group. Overall food was pretty good and would recommend everything I ordered. I would come back to get the BDSM chicken sandwich for brunch.

Beef noodle soup is delicious! I was surprised that it was brought out very quickly after I ordered. The broth is hot and flavorful, and after devouring the beef and noodles, I drank it all up! The beef was very tender and fell apart. The noodles were delicious and made me think of ramen. I sat at the bar, and the gal who was bartending was also my waitress, and she took my order and was awesome! Not the best beef noodle soup I've ever had (I'm Taiwanese, my standards are high), but it hit the spot on a cold drizzly December night.

Came here on a sunday night at 6:30 PM and didn't have to wait to get seated. I liked the lighting and asian decorations inside. Favorite dish was the peashoots and tofu skin! It just had such a unique flavor. The beef and chicken were both cooked super tender, and the msg and black pepper flavors were very strong. It seemed a little pricey for the portion sizes at first, but the dishes were very filling!

Bdsm chicken sandwich with tater tots

Came here during a snowstorm because I was so confident in loving it! However, the BDSM Chicken Sandwich + Tater Tots was unfortunately overpriced and underwhelming. To be fair, the food isn't bad at all. The chicken is fried well, crispy on the outside while tender inside. The tater tots are also crunchy like a tater tot should be. But for $24 price tag, there's nothing special here at all. The chicken sandwich itself is very small (literally about the size of my palm). It has a savory popcorn-chicken style seasoning, but it's not bold enough at all. It also has "spicy sauce" on it but it pretty much tastes like Kewpie and is not spicy in the slightest. Worst part is that the rest of the plate (about 2/3 of it!) is just plain tater tots with regular ketchup. There was no seasoning, no special sauce, no twist; just standard tots. Overall, it's fine food, it's just not worth the price nor trekking out during a snowstorm for (though the latter point may just be me). At that price point, I expected something more filling, flavorful, or memorable. Service was knowledgeable and friendly and they played nice old school Chinese songs. It was also nice and homey inside, though the tables were packed closely together so you can eavesdrop on your neighbors if you're bored.

This place has been on my to-go list 5ever and im happy to have come on a friday night with a friend. We sat by the bar and it was chill. Love the vibe in there. Very cozy for a cold night. Friendly service as well. We ordered hot sesame noodles and it was good! Very light hint of pb. The popcorn chicken were huge! Not no tiny pieces. The mocktails we got were also tasty! As for the tongyuan omg it was my fave! The were pan fried maybe? But the crisp on it then with ice cream was delicious! Just be sure to eat it in one bite or itll get all over you. Don't make my mistake! Overall id come back even though it is a bit pricy but i get it. Its ny. Lol

I was so excited to finally taste Wen Wen's beef noodle soup. Despite the day being relatively warm and walking 30,000 steps, the soup hit the perfect spot. The broth was rich, the beef was tenderrrr, and the noodles were cooked to perfection. Their fried tofu dish had this sour, somewhat off putting but at the same time appealing taste. Every bite had me addicted and confused at what I was eating, but I had no issues finishing the dish. The last thing I ordered was one of their cold salads with pickled cucumbers, carrots, and more. I could pass on this, but I think my friends appreciated it for what it was. Next stop: their chicken dish

Loved my dining experience here! Everything felt very intentional and the food hit home for me. Portion sizes were average, had to order more food mid-meal because we were still hungry (group of 3). My favorite dishes were the soft egg tofu, popcorn chicken, and the dessert was 11/10. Highly recommend ordering the fried sesame tangyuan with vanilla icecream!

Visited for a dinner date on Sunday night. We made a reservation for a table but chose to sit at the bar because we enjoy having more table space. Everything is reasonably priced and tasty overall. We got the popcorn chicken, fried tofu, beef soup noodle and a Taiwan beer to share. Plus dessert. The popcorn chicken felt a bit overcooked but besides that the flavor was good. It was little sweet for my liking. I prefer tiny pieces that I eat with skewers, but still good! The tofu for me was delicious but if you're not a fan of fermented veggies it might not be for you. The hot sauce with it is numbing but I really enjoyed it. The texture was perfect and stuffing the veggies it it with sauce is yummy. The beef soup noodles is a 10/10! Generous portions of beef and delicious broth. Would come back again for this! Tasted just like how my mom makes it and the meat is just braised perfectly. Light yet savory and flavorful. We also really enjoyed the dessert! We had a funny disagreement where my bf was determined the leaves on the dessert was shiso. I told him no, the only thing I can be is cilantro since in Taiwan we eat cilantro with ice cream and peanuts. lol he obviously was wrong. But we both really enjoyed this dessert, and you will too if you like sesame or peanuts. Definitely coming back to get the beef noodle and trying more side dishes plus cocktails!

Great spot for a casual lunch with yummy Taiwanese food. We started with the spicy celtuce as a cold app and shared the beef noodle soup and lou rou rice. The celtuce was a great way to start the meal with a nice amount of spice and vinegar to eat alongside the main dishes. The beef noodle soup was nice and rich. The beef was so so tender and the best part of the dish. I really enjoyed the lou rou rice as well, it's perfect mixed all together and a nice dish to share.

this place is amazing!!!!! The food is soooooo savory and tasty, the textures are amazing. Flavor bombs in everything so come prepared for the ride. The popcorn chicken is mind blowing, 100000% recommend. The wait isn't too long on Saturday evening, and the vibes are fun and nice but not too loud or chaotic. The deco is super fun to look at as well!

My favorite was the popcorn chicken - the hot honey sauce paired with the crispy chicken was really yummy. I was slightly disappointed by the sesame noodles since it's just a simple cold noodle with sesame paste, cucumbers, and egg. The pork belly and cuttlefish (aka just standard hong shao rou) was very soft and fatty. I enjoyed it but also nothing special. The food was "aggressively mediocre." Honestly I probably wouldn't come back - there's much better asian food at half the price, just a few stops by subway. Go to LIC or Flushing/Chinatown instead.

I asked to sub rice for noodles because one of my kids is a rice pot (can't go without rice) and requested extra sauce, which they kindly provided. The set meals are a fantastic deal; a full size entree, an appetizer and a drink for $19-20. An extra order of noodles is $2.50 and it's really double the amount of noodles that comes in your entree. I also ordered their new dish with has abalone and sea cucumber; this is not part of a set meal. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It has that umami sweetness that comes from a great soup base and the noodles are delicious as usual. The abalone was tender, the sea cucumber had a bite to it. There was fish maw and wood ear in there as well.

I've tried the fish maw soup rice noodles, and the tom yum soup noodles - both have good broth, but the tom yum was spicy and hot in temperature, so it was hard to eat it quickly. My mom tried the Chicken Fish Maw soup noodles and thought the chicken was not of the best quality, so I'd avoid that in the future. They have set meals that come with a side and drink, but those limit you to three options. I got sold on buying the gift cards to maximize spend, so I have a few more visits. I'm looking forward to trying the dry noodles because summer is just around the corner!

I tried the wontons in spicy peanut sauce. It was different because I'm use to chili wontons. The spicy peanut sauce wasn't spicy. I also tried the pork soup dumplings, which took some time to cook. It arrives very hot, so give it some time to cool off, maybe 5-10 minutes. It is a chaotic mess for the volume they are trying to do. It's not about adding more manpower, it's about streamlining. Tables are sitting empty while people are on the waitlist (not due to reservations), orders are going to the wrong tables, to-go orders are in disarray and have to be re-verified on multiple orders, and it takes a long time to get some water. The Yelp waitlist is useless here - wait was supposed to be 5-10 minutes and it turned into almost 40. All this could have been avoided with more planning, better organization, and training. Kitchen staff doing their job well. Front of house needs work.

One of the best bowls of noodles I had in any part of NYC. Comparable to my top favorite shops like Maxi's Noodle House, Golden Wonton King, and Sweet Wonton House. On my most recent visit, I watched the staff make some of their plump and juicy wontons. They use such a high ratio of shrimp to pork, which makes them absolutely delicious.
