Basil Fried Rice (GF)
Cathy G.

Warm and cozy, tasty and scrumptious! It was a cold December day and I had never had HotSake this was the perfect day for it. We ordered several dishes to share and our favorite was the chicken. The fried rice, lacked flavor it had a strong spicy after taste. The papaya salad was so refreshing and a great starter. The pad Thai was also delicious ! Overall it was a good spot. Would have loved to try the cocktails

Lump Crab Fried Rice

Small Thai shop hidden in Williamsburg. Despite its limited presence, it was packed when I came on a Tuesday evening. We ordered a variety of items that we heavily relied on our server in choosing. For appetizers, we started off with Smut Fries ($12), which the dipping sauce makes this unique rather than just another order of fries. The Lump Crab Fried Rice ($25) were also great. For entrees, the waiter highly recommended the Khao Soi - US Wagyu Beef ($39), which was as good as advertised. The Wagyu beef really made this unique compared to all other Khao Sois you can get at any other Thai restaurant. We also got the Pad Cha Fish ($24), which were pretty good, but found it to be too salty. Used the fried rice to dilute the saltiness, which helped a bit. Overall a really good experience and would recommend this hidden gem if you're looking for a Thai restaurant in the Williamsburg area.

Cute + delicious spot in Williamsburg The service was pretty was perfect, fast and attentive The food was delicious, not spicy and very tasteful We had the crab rangoon that was good and the portions were bigger than expected!

So happy I found this spot! Khao Soi with US Wagyu Beef was my favorite dish. The broth was rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced, and the wagyu beef was incredibly tender. Fried tofu and chive pancakes were both delicious- crispy, flavorful, and the perfect starters. The Pad Cha Fish had an amazing crunchy texture and bold flavor, and the papaya salad brought that fresh, zesty balance with just the right amount of heat. Loved the cocktails too, I tried the Siam and the Chid Lom (like a Thai milk tea with a kick) The space is cozy and welcoming, with great service and a wide selection of Thai beers. Plus, they now have an online ordering app, which makes it so convenient to order to go for delivery or pickup!

Mango Sticky Rice

This small Thai restaurant in Williamsburg really blew my mind away with how flavorful and beautiful all of their food was! Creamy Thai tea is always a wonderful start! Every appetizer was incredible. I could eat 100 of those chicken dumplings. The curry had a delicious coconut-y mild spice flavor and lots of soft beef. The fried rice and noodles both were seasoned really well and cooked to a perfect texture. I also loved the portion sizes here! I've had mango sticky rice at a lot of spots and this one is definitely one of the better ones I've had! So yummy. Also, the service here was pretty good.

New Thai spot in Williamsburg that caught my eye. Went in midweek with a res but would have been fine without one. Inside is quite small and it's more stool type seating than full tables with chairs so keep that in mind. The menu was compact and I believe they have a happy hour. Went with one other person and I wasn't too hungry so I opted for a tom yum soup. It was okay -- a tad too heavy on the mushroom for my liking. I've been an avid soup consumer as of late and felt that this one could have done with a bit more thickness. The summer rolls were fine nothing special. It was a cute place with good service but feel that there are other better Thai options in the area.

I've been here a few times and I can confidently say this is my favorite thai restaurant in Williamsburg! Service is always attentive and friendly. The food and drinks are also pretty solid. I highly recommend their pad see ew, fried tofu, and khao soi waygu. I can't remember the names of the cocktails but everything I've tried were creative and tasty!

Craving for thai food in Brooklyn area? Check out this place and you won't regret it!!! We ordered the PaNang (I personally LOVE PaNang, recommend if you like coconut milk) omg with beef it was AMAZING!!! so far best PaNang & pad see ew with chicken it was pretty cool! I see why this menu is one of their top choices :)

BBQ Chicken Satay (4 Skewers)

Ambiance: The dining area is not very large, but there are some tables that can accommodate a big party. The shop was cozy and clean, with cute frames and decor throughout. They also have a bathroom in the shop. Food: The chive pancake was incredible! I think it is the BEST Thai appetizer I have had in NYC. The chive pancake is incredibly fragrant, with a crispy exterior and a gooey, hot chive filling inside. I haven't encountered another dish that highlights the flavors of chives so well, truly making them the star of the dish. I also really liked the US Wagyu Crying Tiger, which was grilled to perfection and paired perfectly with the house-made Thai sauce. It is a bit pricier than some of the other dishes, but the steak was juicy and cooked to perfection. The Pad See Ew also had a good balance of sweetness from the sauce with a slight sourness from the vinegar. The texture of the noodles was just right, with a reasonable amount of chicken. Service: Overall, the interaction was pretty average. The employees were nice and the service was prompt.

Khao Soi Crispy Pork

This was some of the best Thai food I've ever had. Every dish we tried was phenomenal. The Khao soi was so unbelievably flavorful with humble enough in the curry that the flavors of the noodles, cilantro and pork complimented it and didn't overwhelm me with flavor. The pineapple fried rice had fresh pineapple and the spices were spot on. The pad see ew was cooked to the perfect noodle texture, and it was perfectly sweet and umami. Presentation was beautiful for the food, service was super kind and very attentive. Indoor space seemed small as it was off a small street in Brooklyn but we sat outside and it was right off the street. 10/10 would go back to Brooklyn just for this restaurant, highly recommend!

Drunken Man Noodle
Shirley H.

I liked the service, they were attractive without being pushy. The interior is simple and bright with wooden design. There were a couple of BOGO promotions going but we settled on our main dish and then became too full. The Drunken noodles were spicy enough, but also too sweet and wet. The shrimps were plump and tender. I sampled my friend's pad kra pao and it was too sweet, and missing some savory component and not enough basil. Another friend ordered a pork belly and it was simple without crisp or flavor; the only flavor I tasted was the porkiness to it and it's a bit unpleasant. The green curry seems to be a hit with other friends, but I didn't sample it. This restaurant has outdoor seatings as well. Also, 5% off paying with cash.

Absolutely amazing service! Staff was super friendly, and quick! Great ambiance, and comfy vibe to the whole place. Food was so delicious! We couldn't get enough, even when we were full we couldn't stop eating:) Best Thai food ever

Classic Thai Tea

Came here with reservation for 4 people on a Saturday night. When I arrived I was told that we would need to wait about 15 minutes for a table to open up, so we waited in the vestibule outside since inside was already cramped with diners, delivery workers, and others waiting for a table. After about 25 minutes, I went back in and had to wait a while to even speak to a host again and when I did they said it would be about 10 more minutes. While we were waiting, we overheard one of the hosts offer another group that arrived after us complimentary beers for having to wait, but we were not offered this. We were finally seated 45 minutes after we arrived; way longer than I would expect to with a reservation. Seating was quite tight, with the waiters and guests having to squeeze between our backs and those seated behind us. After ordering, it took a while for anything to come out, not even the thai teas we ordered, but once one the first dish came out, everything else arrived in a good pace following. The Papaya Gang Som with Branzino was our least favorite dish, as the fish was quite dry, and the soup was not as flavorful as we hoped. All the rest of the dishes were quite tasty, with my favorites being their rich and flavorful panang curry and their fresh and light curried fish. The thai tea arrived quite late in the meal, and it was definitely a bit too watered down tasting for me. Overall, I would want to come back again because the food was quite tasty, but I will probably wait a while first. They are quite new and probably still figuring out their system, so hopefully they can make improvements there. Based on the food, I understand why the restaurant was so popular, but the small dining area made it difficult to handle so many people.

I asked to sub rice for noodles because one of my kids is a rice pot (can't go without rice) and requested extra sauce, which they kindly provided. The set meals are a fantastic deal; a full size entree, an appetizer and a drink for $19-20. An extra order of noodles is $2.50 and it's really double the amount of noodles that comes in your entree. I also ordered their new dish with has abalone and sea cucumber; this is not part of a set meal. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It has that umami sweetness that comes from a great soup base and the noodles are delicious as usual. The abalone was tender, the sea cucumber had a bite to it. There was fish maw and wood ear in there as well.

I've tried the fish maw soup rice noodles, and the tom yum soup noodles - both have good broth, but the tom yum was spicy and hot in temperature, so it was hard to eat it quickly. My mom tried the Chicken Fish Maw soup noodles and thought the chicken was not of the best quality, so I'd avoid that in the future. They have set meals that come with a side and drink, but those limit you to three options. I got sold on buying the gift cards to maximize spend, so I have a few more visits. I'm looking forward to trying the dry noodles because summer is just around the corner!

The curry flavor was subtle and paired really well with the parmesan cheese, giving them a savory depth without being overpowering. For my main, I had their steak ramen, which was a collaboration they were featuring at the time, and it's probably one of the best bowls of ramen I've ever had. It is a chaotic mess for the volume they are trying to do. It's not about adding more manpower, it's about streamlining. Tables are sitting empty while people are on the waitlist (not due to reservations), orders are going to the wrong tables, to-go orders are in disarray and have to be re-verified on multiple orders, and it takes a long time to get some water. The Yelp waitlist is useless here - wait was supposed to be 5-10 minutes and it turned into almost 40. All this could have been avoided with more planning, better organization, and training. Kitchen staff doing their job well. Front of house needs work.
