When we walked in, a frustrated family ahead of us ended up leaving because they had been waiting for 20 minutes without a single employee acknowledging them. There were four workers visible, but they completely ignored the register. Because I am pregnant, I urgently needed to use the restroom, so my husband called out to ask for the key code. They completely ignored him. Finally, a cashier named Karmen walked up with a massive attitude. When we ordered our Frostys, she literally slammed them onto the counter. Not only were they melted, but they weren't even filled to the normal amount. When my husband questioned the quality of the food, Karmen aggressively told him to "shut the fuck up"--not once, but twice--right in front of our 4-year-old son. When we asked to return the items, another employee named Sarah came up and defensively questioned why we wanted a refund, acting as if she couldn't see the melted, half-empty cups right in front of her. When I asked Sarah for Karmen's name, she lied, claimed she didn't know it, and walked away. To top it all off, the manager Chelsey--who had been standing by the food line watching this entire ordeal unfold--finally stepped in. She yelled at Karmen to go to the back, but when she processed our refund, she showed absolutely zero concern or accountability. When I calmly explained that her staff's behavior was completely unprofessional and that swearing at a parent in front of a child is unacceptable, she didn't care at all. I stayed calm during the incident because I didn't want to stress myself out while pregnant, but this establishment's behavior is completely unacceptable. If you cannot handle basic customer service without resorting to profanity and hostility in front of children, you should not be working in food service. Management clearly does not care. This location is definitely the worst on Oahu! The quality of service is just as bad as the quality of their food service. No matter when I go there for a salad, it's "out of salad." Today they had no line at all and they literally had me sitting at the speaker for 7 minutes to tell me "sorry, we're out of salad." Wendys Nanakuli posted Dining Room hours are 6:30 am to 10:00 pm. Yet for weeks now they tape a hand-written note on the locked door to the dining room, "Drive Thru Only. We apologize for the inconvenience." Sometimes its posted from 6:30 am through morning and lunch hours than dinner time its open. Other days its all day and night. If you arrive on foot specifically to eat there before school, its a big inconvenience. The only time the dining room is closed in other establishments in the area is due to no electricity. 2x I went to this Wendy's after my shift from work, both times very disappointing and it always seems to be with the fries. After a 8 a hour shift I'm to tired to cook especially 11pm at night both times I ordered a large meal. First time I had about 10 fries in the bag. Nanakuli Wendy's is a gem..... early event in Nanakuli and decided to try Wendy's. Tried the French toast and seasoned fries and it was hot and delicious. The girls that work here are really friendly. My order came quickly and was freshly made. Restrooms are very clean and there is lots of parking. I did notice a little golden sand on the ground at the entrance and I giggled because only in Hawaii would you find golden sand on the ground at Wendy's..... On Labor Day my companion and I went to Wendy's Nanakuli. We used a coupon for Dave's Double buy one get one free. We also had a coupon for free fries with a purchase. The food establishment was empty of customers. It was too quiet. I noticed there was one customer at the drive thru. It took a while for the food to come out. The fries was nice and hot when we received it. Thought we was going to dine in at the restaurant...instead we opted to take the food home to eat. Once we reached home...my companion opened one of the sandwiches and noticed it was the Baconator instead of the Dave's Double. Tried calling the restaurant...their phone was very busy.. Worst meal ever. Strawberry lemonade tasted like a generic powder mix and cost $4.19. Gave to employee to trash it. I don't know why but Wendy's consistently has the best staff of any fast food establishment. This location is no exception. Very friendly, well spoken and respectful counter staff. Newish decor and seems pretty clean. Their Biggie Deals are still the best deal for fast food. So this was the first time I ever returned food at a fast food place. Salad was brown and wilted. To their credit they apologized and gave me a fantastic new salad. The Cobb salad is my new go-to at Wendy's for a low card tasty meal. read more

I love me some Chocolate Frosty so I wanted to see if the Strawberry held its own. Hubby ordered the small size and I got a Jr. frosty free with my key chain. Both were Strawberry of course. It looked like a frosty. I could feel the ice crystals which is good. The taste was more like a gogurt flavor than ice cream or low fat ice milk. It had an immediate after taste. I thought it was just me. I stopped eating mine. Hubby asked, if something was wrong. I was like, I'm just curious as to how yours taste...Lol. 22 years on this planet and my first time eating at Wendy's. This location was very beautiful and clean with nice benches and tables. I was at the register for about 5 minutes without acknowledgement while the cashier girl took the the person in front of me's order, helped make the order, and then returned to me after around 7 minutes to take my order. We ordered the jr fries, bacon & cheese potato, barbecue cheeseburger, and a frosty cookie sundae. I think it took around 12 minutes to make our order, but it was strange because there were no other customers in the store or in the drive-thru besides us, and there were 7 workers that were all scrambling to make food that didn't seem to be ordered lol The outside of the potato was very very hard and we ended up just scraping the insides out and eating that. The burger was a decent size but I think I'd rather go to Betty's Burger Joint in town for the same price & better quality. The fries were good and so was the frosty. read more

I went to Wendy's Nanakuli, and soon as I pulled in, I notice that there was customers dining in and no one in the drive thru. So opted for the drive thru. I order a Dave's double cheeseburger meal "medium size" with sprite and a side small fries. Than I was told by the dude that took my order that they were out of sprite. Very disappointing. My order took a while before receiving it, and they forgot my side fries. So I told them about it, and with no apologies, it another couple of minutes and upon receiving it, I pulled away and check my order and everything was cold and the fries tasted old, and not fooly cooked. I definitely will not be returning. So sad. They need to work on their customer service, food time and quality. read more

I ordered a taco salad with extra cheese and a Jr Deluxe burger. 1st off the salad was not fresh, a lot of wilting lettuce and brow, barely any cheese, wich I paid for extra and did not receive, after pick out the bad parts, I was just over it and threw it away. The Jr. Deluxe burger was the worst, I asked for mustard and did not get it in the burger! The bun was hard, and the meat was burnt, the sauce in the burger was runny and looked like someone spit in it. I fed the meat to my dog and threw the rest away. At least my dog enjoyed the meat!
