I have never been to Wendy's before but after my experience I will definitely come back. The decor is great and feels warm and welcoming and the staff is great. The ladies at the front tonight we're so nice and do an amazing job of keeping everything clean. I'm so glad that this place is so close to home too as I now have an option for those late nights out. Rude customer service. It's a shame this day and age people cannot say simple greeting terms or even ask what I'd like to order. Coming to this establishment is a bit of a gamble. There are times where the food is good especially for fast food. Then there are times where I get poor customer service, soggy cold fries and their soda machine is always dirty because it never tastes like the beverage it should taste like. If you order anything don't get a meal. Save your money and just order the other items. Don't waste your $ on the soggy fries or odd tasting fountain sodas. Long wait and truly horrible hamburger. Looked and tasted like the 'meat' had been recooked a few times (done to death) and its taste overpowered the extra pickles and tomatoes so that they were tasteless. Frosty was fine and fries too but the main dish I would never buy there again. VERY long wait at the counter--I guess it's no longer true that if you get out of your car and go in you are considered a priority. Bathroom floor slippery with pee. I never really thought I'd write a review for a fast-food chain, but after seeing so many idiotic (from someone using their parking lot and another using the restroom??) reviews that had nothing to do with the food or service, I decided this Wendy's deserved an actual review. I've been coming here maybe once every month or two for years now. I use the drive-through usually. In all that time, they have never screwed up my order. They have always been polite. I often don't have to wait at all and if I do, it's just a short time. And my food has always been fine. What more could you ask for from a fast food chain. Dependable, fast, polite. read more

First off... if yer looking for a burger in Ballard, you have many, many better options. See my other reviews. But, as a fast food junkie, Wendy's is about as good as it gets. We have here in Ballard a Jack in the Box, a McDonalds, a Burger King.... but I keeps coming back to Wendys. Same food you'll get at all the other bazillion ones. 4 stars for being better than every one in the Metro Detroit area (yea I know we're in Seattle) but -1 for botching my order a small handful of times. Friendly staff, and too friendly some times but I roll with it. Now that Dave Thomas isn't running the show I'm fully expecting the chain to go the way of KFC, Taco Bell and A&W (which is honestly, bar none the worst food I've ever eaten in Seattle). So being a fast food chain I don't feel like my standards are set too high, but my visit to this particular Wendy's was extremely disappointed. The food was okay, it was the service that was horrible. First off, the woman taking my order could not seem to work her screen and rang up everything I ordered wrong, several times. Second, while waiting for my food I had to ask same cashier for my drink three times before she actually did anything about it. Horrible service, will not go to this location again. We visited this location on Sunday October 4 around lunch time; restaurant was clean and food is the usual Wendy's. The young man behind the counter was a complete idiot; the gentleman ahead of us came back three times because his hamburger order wasn't correct. We ordered 2 fries, 2 drinks and a plain hamburger and it took 2 tries to get it right. ITS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE!!!! To the young man behind the counter...YES YOU! You, and only you, are the reason we gave your location a 1 star and will not be returning. Your attitude stinks; especially for someone working with the public. Too many sad reviews, I needed to leave a HAPPY one! What's not to like about Wendy's? Quality food, can order with my eyes closed, etc. Just wish I didn't have to drive so far to find a Wendy's in Seattle!! Last time I was they even called me by my name and gave me a compliment! If I'm broke I order from the dollar menu, if I'm rich I go all out with the spicy chicken. My fast food go to. Don't worry, you can dress casual when you come. Well I don't usually eat fast food, but when I want a tasty burger fast, and quick I love Wendy's. This being said the Wendy's in Ballard has pretty much turned me away from that. I have never been served by such a rude, the most unhappy, and zero personality human ! Specifically the drive-through. The first window money takers are generally polite, but the second window is a different story, they never say one word they literally shove the food at you and slam the window shut as you're trying to ask for salt or ketchup, so therefore thanks Ballard Wendy's you just made my decision easy. I actually love Wendy's burger... the service is quick and efficient and the quality great for a fast food place. Whenever I go there the person (not always the same person) taking my order is delightful, and so nice and polite but the person (not always the same person) delivering the food at the second window are by far the most unhappy least customer friendly people on the planet.. they practically throw the bag at you and scowl- it's like the soup Nazi on Stienfeld !! They never ask if you need anything catsup or salt just get the heck out! I even called the 800 number and provided feedback....and they called me back but nothing ever changed- I smile and wish them a great day and they still are rude....perhaps they can take lessons from the folks taking orders? read more

We went here for a quick lunch with our 5, 7 and 9 year old. We asked for 3 kids meals, and one adult meal, and some waters. They gave us our food, and we started to drive away when we realized they didn't give us the third kids meal. We walked back in really quick to say they forgot it, and the person told us we needed to give them the other two bags so they know we only got two. So we had to come back out, get the other two bags, and then bring them back in so they would give us the meal (which we all ready paid for in the drive through!) It was a big hassle and left everyone feeling really tense. I know it's just a fast food restaurant and not anything fancy, but still, make sure you get what you ordered BEFORE you drive away. read more

Went for a fourth meal to soak up all the post karaoke booze in my tummy. Sure I was a little impaired but I am still certain that my interpretation of the level of service we received is accurate. Donovan was more than helpful. He answered the various questions we shot at him regarding vegan options among other things and he happily offered suggestions as well. He was just so nice and good at his job, you have to wonder why that is not often the case when you dine at establishments where you food costs more than a dollar. I have stopped by the Wendys in Federal Way by the bus terminal and the waiting period is ridiculous. There is only one person taking the money and putting out the orders. Even though I was second in line I waited 10 minutes to put in an order, then I just left. This location is always like this and as much as I like there product and what they stand for, I will not visit this location again. Does anybody in the company read these reviews? This Wendys has the nicest staff a fast food establishment can possibly have. They have never messed up my drive thru order and always offer a smile. The staff is just too up beat. Plus their dining room is always clean. I dont have any complaints. read more
