The renovations to this Wendy's have done wonders. The staff was really great. I would like to especially thank the dining area attending. We unfortunately did not get her name, but she was a senior with long white hair. She was extremely friendly and really took pride in doing a great job. She was very attentive, asked if our order was correct, followed up to make sure we were enjoying our meal, and even offered to clear our table. We tried to tip, but she would not accept. This just goes to show you how great she is. Thank you to her and to Wendy's for employing people who may be past their prime, but are still able to contribute to society. Wonderful Job!!! read more

The positive reviews of this Wendy's location are obviously fake. This place is a disaster. They are like the Golden State Warriors of Bad Customer service, they just DOMINATE!! I live close enough that I can walk there, but when I do, if I see more than two people in line, I just head back home. There is NO WAY they can handle three or more people in line!! The employees move slower than the zombies in Night of the Living Dead. And they are so used to screwing up people's orders that they no longer apologize. They just grab the bag out of your hand and then shove something back at you after a few minutes of wandering around and shooting the sh*t with their coworkers. You'll never get a thank you. Never! But if you order a small fry and ask for "a pack of ketchup" they will drop about 20 packs in your bag!! Twenty packs of ketchup for a small fry??! This Wendy's Customer service deserves a -5 rating! Stoped in for for a quick bite.... i was rushed threw my order by the person taking order which was a fairly large order for a family of 6...... I was parked and then asked to reversed back into the line. Got home and was missing an entire meal. Called and spoke and explained to her that my order was not complete. The manager never apologized and placed me on hold with no notice. I remained on hold for 9 min long enough to to return! Not worth ever returning!!! Honestly This place should be torn down, I visited this establishment late night and evening and always bad customer service, and the bathrooms are always in poor condition with the staff looking disheveled almost always. They will almost always forget something how do you forget chili on chili fries and charge the customer? I like wendy's just think this one needs new leadership. I have to tell you that I have been going to this Wendy's since I was in high school which was 15 years ago. The service and quality of food has continuously gotten worse. Inside looks like a truck stop that no one takes care of. For Oak Park this place is a dump. Going thru the drive thru is an experience as well. This is definitely the worst experience i've had with any restaurant. I walked in and i got in line, the line looked seemingly short, i then saw that there was only one worker, who was clearly out of it and not working in the right mindset. my friends ordered together in line before me. my one friend ordered a caesar salad and my other friend ordered a 4 piece chicken nugget and fries with a small frosty. The. Woman working behind the counter who I will not mention The name of made me wait about 10 minutes till I could order after them. she was not preparing a meal or doing any other things that have to do with her job she was sitting in the back talking to her friend. it took a while for her to get back I asked her why it was taking her so long she said she was busy although I saw her sitting in the back speaking with friends. i then order a small frosty, small fries and a 4 piece chicken nugget. it took them about four minutes to make my meal while my friends who they had ordered 10 minutes before me took about 30 to 40 minutes. We were there for over an hour total. when we all finally got our food i discovered my four piece chicken nugget had three chicken nuggets. i went up to talk to the woman behind the counter and she yelled for me to get to the back of the line. I asked to speak to the manager and was turned down and told to wait back in line I then argued with the woman behind the counter because I found that i should not wait because of their mistake. i eventually gave up and waited in line. it took another 10 minutes in line and i was furious but when i finally got to the from the woman said "talk to Nicole" i asked who Nicole was and she pointed to a girl and called her over she then said "I know a lie when I see one" and told me to sit back down. I angrily go over to where's I was sitting my friends only to discover that my vegetarian friend had been given the wrong salad which contained meet instead of her Caesar salad which did not again I went up to talk to the manager I was turned away once more I decided to use the bathroom before i left. it was disgusting with dirt all over the floor a clogged toilet in a running faucet I decided not to tell the manager because I knew what exactly what would happen I'd be turned away and called a liar so I decided to leave and make this review would 11 out of 10 not recommend read more

This location is the closest to my house and I avoid it at all cost. But my mother went though the drive-thru here the other day and she asked for a full apple pecan salad, they told her they only had half. They were too lazy to make a full salad but she said fine she will take the half. She asked for a recipe when she paid at the first window and the cashier told her she will get it with her food. She gets her food but no recipe. She asks the guy who gave her her food if she can get a recipe and he says their system is down and they would have to print it manually (whatever that means) and he walks away from the window. He comes back a minute later and asks what she wants. She then says I'm waiting for my recipe and he they tells another worker to print it. When she finally gets her recipe she sees that she was charged for a full salad. She then goes inside and asks for the manager and the guy at the window turned out to be the manager. He was annoyed with her at that point and asked what she wanted again. She explained that she was told they didn't have full salads and yet she was charged for one. He then takes over 5 mins to get her the money back for the difference in the salads. No apology, no courtesy, just attitude. They need to either retrain their management and staff or replace them all with people who want to work. read more

Let me start by saying I have food allergies. Went through the drive through about a week ago and my boyfriend specifically asked for NON spicy nuggets and said it was because a food allergy. Surprise surprise he got half spicy half normal nuggets. I don't normally take my chances with fast food but all I wanted was a little bite. He almost had to take me to the ER because my throat swelled up and I couldn't breath. When he called them they responded by saying that when they run out they just mix them because they don't want to make more. Better hope I don't file a lawsuit... This Wendy's ALWAYS gets my order wrong. This time I ordered a hamburger for my grandson who cannot eat cheese and they packed a cheeseburger. The screen to show your order was malfunctioning. The food was TERRIBLE. The cheese doesn't even look like cheese, it is more like a yellow disgusting liquid. The chili is almost devoid of meat. The baked potato was hard. Extremely rude and unprofessional at the drive through. When we were ordering, she kept running right over us. This resulted in her missing part of our order. So we came back around through the drive through again and were told, "I didn't hear it." As we came around, she was swearing while talking to another car, complaining about customers (quite possibly us from the description of the order). When we came up to the window, she said "Oh you. I have been to Wendy's several times, and the service has always been poor. After a long day, and a car full of hungry kids we were desperate. My Husband place his order, and before getting his food our troubles began. The girl takes my Husband money at the register, which was a ten dollar bill. Which was only $2.00 for the entire order, she gives my Husband $3 in change. My Husband said "where is my Money? I gave you a $10 bill." She defiantly said no you didn't!" She rudely pointed at the bag and told him, "there is your food!." He immediately ask for a manager, and the manager said, "well I have to wait until the end of her shift to count down her draw." Which was all of a two hour turn around, because he had to come back to get his Change. It was another manager on duty that actually had a sympathetic ear. This was not handle right to begin with, because she answer my Husband with an attitude as if to say was the big deal. He call back to talk to another manager, that was more sympathetic and sensitive to the situation. That kindly told my Husband that I will call you as soon as we check her drawer. This is a great Wendy's! It recently got a redesign and their food tastes very nice. They usually have all the orders I want and they are not missing stuff! The food is spectacular, like a great Wendy's! Their Frosties are cold and cool for a perfect treat after having my burger(s), sandwich(es), and/or salad(s). Some kids from the local Brooks Middle School a few blocks away come here just after school and that is around the time I come. Sometimes it is just other adults and maybe the kid(s) that live in the area might come too. Other times school kids are coming here by themselves and then have their great food. Their soda machines are awesome! They have over 100 choices of drinks that you should try when you come here. There are other places like the Noodles & Company near the Harlem Green Line stop that have the same soda machine. There was the pizza place called Slice Factory that had the soda machine but they removed it due to issues and then we have the local Five Guys that closed last month due to their maximum time in this location. Overall, this is a perfect Wendy's just like other Wendy's places and I recommend everyone in the Oak Park, Forest Park, Chicago, etc. area to try Wendy's for themselves and see their great food choices. read more

This is the worst Wendy's I've personally ever been to. It's absolutely filthy. It has a dirty mildew smell. The service is so slow. at one point one of the employees stepped aside to check her Facebook instead of helping the long line of customers. They never get my order right and they're very dismissive when approached. i went to wendys on madison and harlem on 11/19/18. i was in drive through n i ask for a siaracha sauce the cashier gave me bbq we had exchange sauces. as i was pulling off the cashier called me a dirty bitch. i went inside n ask for a mg n the person who call me a dirty bitch was the mg catherine. i spoke with the district manager n general mg. n they both told me they was going to fire catherine. went up there the other day n manager catherine is still working there. so basically you both ate telling me thats its ok for ur mg to act the way they act n treat customers badly. i contacted corporate office and im waiting for the region mg to call me n after i get done with the region mg im talking to his boss. that mg catherine will be fire or im going to beat her ass. another thing this is my second review i had to write on here someone most likely the dm or gm earsed my comment yall got the right one. read more
