After waiting in the drive through for about 15 minutes and moving 1 car length, I decided to come inside to order. Another 15 minutes later, I still don't have my chicken strips. Took it to the drive-thru on my way into work and was pleasantly surprised at the speed of service at 6:15pm on a weekday, as well as the accuracy of my order. My "Dave's Single w/cheese" was piping hot when I opened my bag of goodies. Can't say that about the fries - only warm, kinda limp, but I didn't have time to pull "up and over to the right". Kudos to whoever manages the soda fountain as the mix was spot on! All in all, for a quick fix, it was a solid 3.5 so I'm rounding up. read more

I've tried using the app to do take away only to discover that the door is locked and I can't get my money back. I've contacted them for refund but never received a response. My daughter, her friend and I stopped in here for lunch last weekend. We beat the rush and didn't have to wait at all. The guy taking our order was polite and rang us up quickly. The order was ready before the girls filled their sodas up, which is pretty impressive because it takes forever at the one near my house. I enjoyed my Jr cheeseburger deluxe. It was hot and all the toppings were fresh. My fries were good but a little salty. The girls enjoyed their food too. As a fellow food service manager myself, I take pride in my ability to treat other food service workers with the utmost respect. And while I understand we all have bad days, taking it out on innocent customers is not only unprofessional, but absolutely inexcusable. Someone needs to come in to retrain the manager. She's terrible at taking orders at the drive thru. Immediately impatient and rude. She repeatedly cut us off with questions before allowing us to finish answering the previous. Then became upset, thinking we just didn't answer. When we arrived at the window she was rolling her eyes, snatching items in and out, etc. But it gets even worse- she kept aggressively asking my friend questions, even after I informed her that she does not speak English. For someone so impatient with immigrants learning English, you'd think she'd have better communication skills herself. What was the point of you yelling questions at us, if you were going to get everything wrong anyways? Wrong drinks, sauces, missing item, the list goes on. Didn't even feel comfortable asking her to correct her mistakes as she was defensive from the beginning. I frequent this location, and this is my first encounter with this manager in particular. But now I see why all the workers look miserable in there too. DO BETTER. read more

Wendy's Store 361, Mount Pleasant, SC. I would give this place NO STARS, if that was an option. New management and workers need to be hired. We walked in to a woman behind the counter dealing with a man who was obviously having a breakdown. To the point, my husband almost stepped in to help until the guy left. After he left and my husband went to fill up his drink cup, ALL of the drinks in the machine were empty. He went to the counter to let her know and she got irritated with him. He asked if they could fill it and was told he'd have to wait a while. He asked if he could have one of the drinks behind the counter, she walked off mad and then STARED AT HIM. Another lady said rudely from behind the counter "what drink do you want?" My husband said he wanted coke, but they're out in the machine and he'd just like a drink. He asked if he could have a drink from behind the counter and was rudely told "It costs more". Another woman came storming out of the "employees only" door talking over her shoulder about how she doesn't put up with attitudes, or whatever crap was spewing from her mouth and was hateful also. The same lady tried to take his drink cup out of view to fill it in the back and was being very ugly, so knowing he didn't want spit in his drink, which I'm 100% sure would have happened, he said no. To the employees; 1. Check yourself when interacting with customers who were being polite from the start. 2. If you want a paycheck, freaking do YOUR JOB HONEY and make sure drink machines are filled. 3. You are the one who is suppose to be providing a service to customers, so educate yourselves on how you're suppose to change your attitude at the door before you punch that time clock. You're not representing yourself at that point, you're representing a company. Do better. The whole staff that was working Monday, July 22nd around 3:30 PM needs to be fired. To treat someone who's been serving in the Marine Corps for 26years with such bitchiness is extremely uncalled for. What a hole. Bathroom was disgusting too, with a peeling toilet in the women's room. Food was bland and had no flavor. Chairs were on most of the tables, water standing on the floor in some spots, and the tables were sticky. Only good thing were the Frosty's. This one experience (after living all over the United States and spending six years oversees) we're deleting our Wendy's apps and never ordering from any Wendy's ever again. Went to Wendy's for their Cheeseburger deal for National Cheeseburger Day and was told by the cashier "I haven't heard about any 50 cent deal". Even though the deal was a 1 cent Jr.Cheeseburger with the purchase of another item. As well as hearing her say it to the people ahead of us and behind us as we were walking out of line. The drive thru line was longer than usual because of this deal being offered too. I'm sure just as everyone else making the drive to Wendy's for the special was extremely disappointed being told by the employee that they couldn't get it because SHE hasn't heard about it or took the initiative to see what everyone was asking about. It's worse than not having a Wendy's at all, at least then you wouldn't think you could get Wendy's. This location rarely has the dining room open and they take about 7 minutes per car average in the drive-thru. So you're generally looking at half an hour or more to get food at this Wendy's. read more

My family and I have been going to Wendy's since I was very young. This location is definitely convenient as it's right off of Highway 17 soon after you get off the Ravenel Bridge. Yesterday, I ordered the Baconator (with two hamburger patties, lots of Applewood Smoked Bacon, mayonnaise, American cheese, and ketchup). I personally liked adding mustard and extra mayonnaise to my hamburger for added flavor. I also got fries and their new Blackberry Lemonade. If you like blackberries, I definitely recommend you try the latter since it really is quite good. I was surprised at just how quickly my order was served. A great experience. read more

The Johnnie Dodds location is awesome! I've been here several times in the past couple weeks, and the drive thru staff is friendly and courteous (which is a breath of fresh air these days!) I have no words. Honestly the utter disrespect just blows my mind. I'll start this off by saying that I am a police officer and I work this area where this restaurant is located. This is one of the few places that is opened during the time that I am working. I made an order at 12:50 a.m. and was told that the computer system was not working. I told them I would wait. I waited approximately 5 minutes and they reminded me again that the computer system was not working. I asked them if they were closed and they stated no, so again I said I would wait on my order. When I got my order I noticed that one of the chicken nuggets had a bite taken out of it and also my cheeseburger also had a bite taken out of it. This place was unreal. First the line moved extremely slow. The person working the drive thru was incredibly rude. When i got to the window, they handed me a drink with syrup running down the side. Never told me. Got it all over my hands, shirt, car. Got my order and realized right as a drive off there was no ketchup or sweet and sour sauce when they specifically asked me what sauce i wanted. Attempted to knock on the door to gather sauce that way instead of going back through the very long drive thru line or skipping people. Quite possibly the worst service/attitude/disrespect I have ever encountered in my life from any food service establishment. I have been to this location before and it is usually fine occasionally have to wait 7mins for a spicy chic sand time quoted from staff).Well this time was a different story all together. The store closes at 1am as posted, I got to the drive thru approx. 12:45am now not the earliest but hey it was a late night and I had been to this location plenty of times around this time and gotten great service. I wanted to order 2 spicy chicken sands 2 chicken wraps a small chili and a small frosty nothing special no special requests or demands. I was told they only had 1 spicy sand no chili and no frostys. Ok so i said do you have hamburgers? they proceeded to tell me they only had the burgers for the JR type hamburgers I guess this is a smaller Pattie, so I ordered a JR bacon cheese burger one spicy sand and some chicken nuggets. I pulled up to the window and asked to speak to a manager the drive thru cashier was very polite and returned within a minute and said the manager would be right with me. Well after waiting about 8-10 mins and seeing 4 different employees wondering about do their different assignments/jobs the manager came to the window. Not 100% her name but i believe it was Tonya or something of that nature( I actually asked and she refused to tell me). I asked her why they didn't have these products, I asked if they were out of them? If so I could understand. She proceeded to tell me that was what they had left.... I then replied so there are no more of these items in the building? she then had this dumbfounded look like i just asked her the cure for some disease.Also she didn't even know i had ordered cause she asked if I wanted to order something(great staff communication) She proceeded to tell me these were the items they had left, I then asked if they had a limited menu after a certain time? she once again gave me the look as if she knew not to answer because the response could/would be incriminating. She proceeded to tell me that they are told to only sell what they had left. I then asked if this was company policy? multiple times and only got the same response, at this point I knew she was lying she the proceeded to put the blame on me for the fact that i came late and this was my fault they didn't have these products available. We got into a verbal dispute while in the drive thru while I still had customers behind me so I'm guessing they had the same great/limited menu service I did basically due to the fact she could answer any of my questions and refused to give me her first name and the name of the general managers. In conclusion I didn't get what i wanted when I came during posted business hours, ordered normal menu items with no special requests and was treated with enormous disrespect and hostility. I don't know if this is normal business practice but I will be contacting corporate as well as this is completely unacceptable and just plain rude. This place would get zero stars if I could. Stopped for a later dinner after coming to mount pleasant's party in the park. Well I should've known it was a big no when I was paying and a ROACH walked across the counter. But everywhere can have issues so I was going to give it a chance as I was hungry. Well first the coke was watered down, the ice machine barley produced ice, and the drink machine had a smell as if it wasn't cleaned. Upon receiving food the chicken was completely hard like it sat all day, the fries were super soggy, and overall the experience was just gross. I asked for a refund and to my surprise they were super nice about it and didn't have any issues, but as I walked out I heard them talking about how my food was fine and other things.
