I thought people were just being Karen's about this location when I read the reviews, but it's pretty accurate to the experience you have here. My biggest issue: We were charged for items we didn't even order. Even after repeating our order 4 (yes 4) times. And staff wasn't very friendly. Pros: they got our order right! LOL.. and it tasted very fresh. So I gave them another star for both of these factors. Moab is way too busy for how small the town is, so I don't mind a long line and a wait; that's a little out of their control. Just be prepared for it. read more

You'll think oh fast food I'll get my food fast but this place it took me about 10-20 min to place an order, we went in and they told us to order with the screen thing but when we tried it was slow and freezes every touch, we told her they ignored us and told us to try again but same happened we told them again and she told us that it was working before we tried to order like if it was our fault she tried to show us that it was working but she just made a fool of her self seeing it didn't work, she had to write someone's order in paper but when we wanted to order just like him because they're devices weren't working nor the self order thing. She told us to write down our order but she didn't say that to everyone only us she made us do her work. Me and my family had a really bad time. The worker was a woman with red hair,with bad attitude and another worker with bad attitude told us we couldn't order just in the screens that you order from only 1 was "working" but it was slowly and freezed every touch. No where on their website does it say that only the drive through is open till 12; it just says "Open till 12". I walked down there at 10 pm to get my family some food as the pizza we ordered for them got "lost" and we could not get them any other food in this town. When I got there, I stood in a line of cars and tried to order at the drive through, but no one would take my order. When I got to the place you pick up the food I tried to order there, but was told the manager would not allow it. I am glad he works at Wendy's in Moab; I can't think of a more fitting punishment for such a man. I hope he works there for the rest of his life. read more

Wow, I never thought I would be writing 2 terrible reviews on Wendy's in 1 week. I have been a loyal Wendy's customer for a long time but this is getting ridiculous! My family goes into Wendy's. I order a meal w/Cesar side salad instead of fries, my wife gets a JBC w/fries and a chocolate frosty. We finally get out food after a very long wait and no frosty, and a forgotten salad. So they get the frosty and put the salad in a bag (this was all to go). I also asked for a fork for my salad but they wouldn't get me one, they said I had ti go tip the condiment table to get one (I know what you're thinking, just walk over and get a fork, but it's a to go bag, they're supposed to put everything in the bag). Father in-law orders a sandwich with no onions. Later he found lots of onions. Sister in-law stands there with 2 kids and orders 2 kids meals, they forgot to ring one of them up so we had to wait while they made another one and charge her for it, yeah it should have been for free. We get in the car and hit the road. We start eating and as I said before, lots of onions on 1 sandwich, I realized they hadn't given me a drink which came with my meal, they gave me a regular side salad with ranch instead of the Cesar salad and to top it all off... THERE WAS A HALF EATEN BOWL IF CHILI IN MY BAG!!! What the heck! (if I were a swear'n man you would have gotten more than a "heck." Listen first of all, all the 1 star reviews are correct. This place could not be any slower. It took us about an hour to get get through the line, order, and get our food. However, there is a comical charm about how it all happens that words can't describe. The cashier would randomly walk away with no explanation as to where she is going or when she will return. Looking in the the kitchen each sandwich is made with so much care and precision, some might say to much care and precision for a Wendy's hamburgers. Who cares how that cheese lines up. Over all we are going to make a game of it and see if we can go faster next visit. After standing in front of the register for several minutes and the lady behind the counter ignored us and continued to hustle for the drive-thru, a bus load of kids came in after a sports event. We just got to Moab after traveling 6 hours with children, one of whom has special needs, and we all were so hungry. When we unloaded our family (no easy feat!) and walked in to order food at about 2pm there was a long line of people waiting to order and we were then told they were not taking any more food orders for anyone who came in! They were severely short staffed and prioritizing only the drive thru customers. The three workers I did see were not friendly, nor did they even seem to care and were so unmotivated at what they were doing. Ridiculous. read more

I'm not racist but after driving 4 hours in a car with farting guys I was looking forward to the 4 for 4. But when we arrived it was apparent this was going to be worse than smelling a leaky asshole. First we entered and the whole place was hazy. Probably because they had not changed the frier oil in weeks. Next the Asain cashier took about 20 minutes to enter our order. When we go to fill our cups the soda machine has no syrup. We tell the asians that the machine is empty. And they nodded. I think they didnt understand English. Wow, this is heaven to all the other cities outside of UT's national parks. There was a huge line of school kids but it went by fast. I loved the berry almond salad which was the latest one. They even accommodated with my Mom's request for something simple with grilled chicken salad. The frosties are the best too. read more

Would like to give a zero! My husband went to get us a late dinner and the boy working the window wasn't going to give him back his credit card. He acted as if he already did. My first review here was going through the drive thru: this time I went inside and I saw a few things that really turned me off to their business. #1- employees handling food with no gloves on. I saw one person wearing gloves in the whole kitchen staff. Is this a normal deal? #2- as soon as they started getting busy, they started really losing it. It was like they couldn't keep up, trust me I have managed a restaurant and know how it can get but they easily had enough people to keep up, and everyone was yelling at each other. Kind of a turn off. #3- I also noticed a lot of people wearing watches and bracelets which anyone in the fast food restaurant business will tell you is a food safety violations in the state of Utah. So now I'm sitting here wondering how many hands touched my food that also touched faces and hair.... Sad day. I love Wendy's and these guys are normally great. 40 minutes to get through the drive through. It took over 20 minutes to get my food from when I pulled in front of the ordering speaker. After waiting 8 minutes for them to be ready to take my order, they asked me to wait half way through. When I finally got my order in and made it to the window, they got my order wrong, and forgot food. They didn't even acknowledge the wait, never said sorry, and weren't professional in the slightest. Where do I begin? First, it took 1hr and a half to get our order. That was first and foremost. People in line were upset. There was talk back and forth between customers waiting that this could be a systemic MOAB issue of being understaffed. Behind the counter there were about 8 to 10 staff. I'm not knowledgeable about proper staffing for fast food hamburger establishments but it didn't help that they moved like molasses and 2 other staff were in the back talking to each other. Meanwhile, the line (inside and drive through) was stagnant. Absolutely no sense of urgency or immediacy! There were no lids, no ice, watered down warm sod, and trash piled high on top of the containers. My nephew's bacon burger is included (see pic). You be the judge. There was one kid manning the cash register. Before I started this review I noticed this one already had a whopping 2 stars. First off, we were in the drivethru waiting for 20 minutes after opening time, and no one came so eventually we went inside. After waiting in line for a long time, we saw a man walk his dog into the kitchen where the food is made. And keep in mind-this was NOT a hypoallergenic dog. This is breaking some seriously health code laws. And the people making the fries & other food weren't wearing gloves?! Disgusting. I am so not happy with how they have been preforming lately. The line is always long and it takes forever to get throw to order. The last time I went the line was clear out to the street so I drove to McDonald's and went back to Wendy's after and the line was still out to the street. They always seem to mess your order up one way or another and when they don't the foods not the best. The last time I went to Wendy's they told me I couldn't place two different orders that "only one order per car". It'd Wendy's so you know what that is about. However, it's Wendy's MOAB so that means every thing is way more expensive than it usually would be. Don't think you'll save money by going the franchise burger joint route. You'll be much happier sampling the local cuisine and you won't be paying that much more for it.
