This Wendy's has never been very good. They are staffed by people who don't particularly care. I am disgusted everytime I come here. I ordered a small chocolate frosty, they don't have chocolate. The door I tried to come in from the handicapped side of the parking lot was locked. I had to let them know. They had been working all day and the door was locked. Ordered a plain chicken sandwich at the drive thru,,,waited in drive thru lane for 7 minutes...get my order and it is fully dressed sandwich. park my car and go inside with the order and explain that i ordered it plain...no apology - just told it will be six minutes as if i have an alternative to wait...staff was loud and indifferent to customers...when my sandwich finally was ready the clerk slid the bag over the counter...no apology ..nothing said at all. I said thank you for the apology (which there wasn't one) and when I asked to see the manager the clerk was smirking and then got loud and rude when i pointed out her behavior to the supervisor...she was done for the day so she found it necessary to start cussing at me as she was clocking out at the register. Clerk apparently didn't see anything wrong with her behavior felt it was appropriate to continue using the f word and asking me what I was going to do about it. Today I went to the Wendy's in East Rochester for the $1 Breakfast Biscuit promotion. I ordered a Honey Chicken Biscuit. The woman who made the sandwich had a full head of small braids that were down to her waist. Her hair should have been covered or tied back. She had gloves on but was handling money and credit cards and then handling food. Drive-up customers appeared to be getting their food significantly faster than in-store customers. We stopped there at the last minute because we were in the area. The woman behind the counter was unfriendly, unwelcoming, almost sullen. And SL-O-O-O-W. Clearly doesn't like her job. She took care of each customer turtle-slow with no regard for anyone else waiting - not a look or an acknowledgement. And definitely no smile. The gentleman behind us walked out. We waited for at least 15 minutes to get 2 baked potatoes and 2 chilis. And we were not asked if it was to go or eat-in, just started bagging the food. I made that decision after standing in a room that was refrigerator-cold and too uncomfortable to spend time in. Then it took her 5 minutes to count the correct change - coin by coin. My husband had to correct her twice. When we got home, no sour cream for the sour cream and chive potato that I paid extra for .... Oh - and no straws or spoons at the side table; maybe 5 forks and some knives. There were napkins, they get credit for that. And the chili was exceptionally good. Zero Stars. This Might be the worst run fast food restaurant or store I've ever stepped into. Entered Wendy's location at 305 West Commercial Street. East Rochester NY 14445 around 7pm, not a customer in the restaurant or drive thru I also see no employees. I wait and observe there is a bucket catching water dripping from ceiling, a fan on the counter on the food side, a ton of receipts on the counter the register spit out, food all over the floor. I had time to notice all of this because I didn't see an employee for 5 minutes, until a car must of entered the drive thru, I even had yelled out twice to try and get attention. He saw me and yelled to his back office area who's up front, I replied back no one for at least 3 minutes. Finally 2 kids came out of the back, he took my order , than nothing. A girl came out and looked like she switched drawers but apparently no one had numbers. The boy that didn't take my order asked if the boy that rung me out was going to fufill it and he said No. So the second did. No Sorry, No Thank You's, No Customer Service, No Work Ethic. I'm sorry I've never worked at a location where if the store is a mess you leave it, or leaving your front end unattended for 5 minutes. Now I understand it's hot and the air conditioning seemed broken but after reading what I went through is this an excuse this team can use to say at least we helped him. My order was 2 6pc nuggets, 1 4pc nugget, and 3 small frostys. If I'm the only customer and the nuggets are done I should be in and out in 5 minutes. read more

The workers here walk around like they have nothing to do. My food took over 30 minutes even though I was one of two people in the store. The bathroom was dirty, floor was sticky, no straws, ice, or forks. Just overall a not great experience. read more

My husband and I were out early for an appointment which is unusual, and I've been wanting to try that new Frosty-cino they've been advertising, so we drove through. It was ok. For the calories I'm sure it had, it's probably better to just get a small frosty. It gave the coffee a sweet taste, which I need, but it wasn't anything special. I wouldn't get it again. Other than that, I'm really never at Wendy's. They don't have much for vegetarians. Do they still have a baked potato? I used to like those. It's a fast food drive thru. I was just there and had a delicious meal. I went to the bathroom and realized that there was a strange whiteish thick substance on the toilet seat. I had went home and called them as soon as I could. The employee answered the phone and I told them about the substance and they had hung up on me immediately. I'm outraged and disgusted. If there's a fast food burger place I'd go to it would be Wendy's, partially due to fond memories of the good old days when kids were allowed to venture off high school campuses for lunch. This was a favorite spot! I adored the old salad bar they used to have and slathering fries in malt vinegar started a life long malt vinegar habit. Now I just drive through for occasional specials. It's absolute torture being at a fast food restaurant, and seeing the register uncovered, as employees run around all scattershot, and ignoring the customers, lined up, wallets in hand, waiting to be served. I gave this place a break when covid had ground things to a halt and every place was short-staffed. But now most places are humming full speed, and this place just plods along. Oh Wendy's....it just wouldn't be fair to rate your food. It's fast food burgers and stuff. It is what it is I guess. However...your people skills at the drive thru are deplorable. Swung in to get a quick meal on my lunch break....around 8 PM. The girl on the intercom obviously did not want to take my order, and when I pulled up and asked if I could add a large fry to my order, she was less than glad to help. She shut the window...added the fry...I think...then instead of telling me my new sum, snatched my card...shut the window, and handed me back my card with no info. She again shut the window and she and the "manager" proceeded to get on their phones. A good 3 to 5 minutes while my order sat in a bag....awaiting my fries. He finally bagged the fries, and handed it to her to give to me with no thanks or "have a good night". Cause she's got......personality.....(sing along kids!) This is the nasties filthiest Wendy's in the town. nobody wears gloves they have good fights with the sandwich toppings. There's mold in the frosty machine they never clean or sweep behind machines. People have Covid and still come to work. I've seen managers pick their nose and make food they treat there workers very bad there very rude n nasty. They leave dishes from the back on door n don't pick it up then rinse it n use it for food. They have there employees make fake reviews on here to make people think there good when there really bad. They tell customers to give them 5 stars in return for free food. That tells it all this Wendy's can not be trusted !!! The proof is in the pudding!!! read more

Nobody said they'd be with me in a moment or nothing & they only had 1 other patron in the dining room. I hope someone sees on the security tape that a customer was completely ignored & walked out. First of all, this is supposed to be a fast food area. I drove up to the drive through window and the first thing the lady says to me was "hold up" so i waited for about 10 minutes and she then says "k what do you want" i said my order clearly and she repeated it back to me correctly. I drove up to the window to pay & receive my food.. which i did not. I received a completely different order and did not get my drink. I went and parked my car & went inside to get my correct order and as i walk in, the first thing i see is a worker (lady) with a cigarette in her mouth behind the counter preparing food. I said "excuse me my order is wrong" and i told her what i got. A gentleman got my order but did not apologize. I then told the lady that i did not receive my drink. She rolled her eyes at me and threw her hands in the air and said "I'm sorry princess what would you like" i said my drink order and left immediately.
