Shake Shack is my absolute favorite fast food place. My favorite thing to get is a single shack burger with cheese fries. On my most recent trip I tried their new holiday shakes. My favorite was the cool late Yule log shake. It was fabulous, with chunks of delicious chocolate cake mixed into the shake itself. I also tired the holiday cookie one which was also quite good. I loved how it tasted like cookie batter and the sprinkles were a perfect touch. The inside of the restaurant itself is cleans and spacious. It always looked small to me, but we've never had a problem getting a seat.

How did we get blessed with the first Shake Shack in the whole western NY area?! The service here was fantastic, everyone was so so friendly from the minute you walk in the door they are greeting you SO nicely with big smiles. And the girl that was delivering food to tables last night was the sweetest angel, I think her name was Amaris. What an absolute sweetheart, thank you so much for being such a refreshing ray of sunshine, that is so so rare to find these days and it made our night! The food was delectable. The smash burger was heavenly. The bun is so buttery and delicious. The fries are good but I feel like might need some salt, idk if that's just how shake shack does their fries tho, still very good. And that milkshake. Wow. I tell you what, wow. That tasted like a strawberry donut. I have a feeling those limited time only milkshakes on the menu are going to keep me coming back here regularly (I live in Buffalo). The black and white milkshake was also delectable. Ambiance 100/100. The inside of that place is magnificent, bathrooms are immaculate, lots of seating inside and out.

Very excited to try the new Shake Shack. We arrived at a busier time and waited about 40 mins for our food. When we arrived the line to order was very long. We were ushered over to a card only kiosk which helped move the ordering process along. The first thing we noticed was how many people were waiting for food. While waiting we noticed there was little to no food coming out of the kitchen. I can't speak on what the issue was but for a good 15 mins service was almost at a standstill. Finally orders started to come out frequently. The staff working remained cheerful and professional despite this. I really enjoyed their positive energy. Plenty of seating (including lovely outdoor seating) and parking so no complaints there. The food was wonderful. We both loved our burgers. The toppings (lettuce, pickles, tomatoes) were fresh. This really helped to enhance the flavor. I do wish we were given more fries in our baskets. I ordered my burger with bacon ($2 up charge). I noticed there was no bacon on it. I went to ask about this and they told me they would have bacon again in a few minutes. They refunded the $2 fee which I appreciated.

It's a burger spot. And yes , it's new to the area so there's still a crowd. In terms of bigger chains, I think it's close to 5 guys (but I like the toppings choices at 5 guys for their burger bowls especially). No sugar free lemonade/ iced tea options here. But they do have diet sodas. The app is not working locally yet and the parking lot is not completely paved. They did have a line to walk in and for the drive through but both moved quickly. Out of 4 kiosks, 1 was working but most waited for the cashier. The kiosk was easy to use and after you pick a table number. You get text updates about your order and the food is brought to you. They do have lettuce wrapped options for burgers and hot dogs so that's great. And the wrapping on the lettuce wrapped burger holds really well. It's a nice option to have in the area and is not my #1 choice but def in the top 5. Hopefully the app is working soon and maybe they'll have some promos.

I love Shake Shack and am so happy to have one in Rochester. I went opening day and was so impressed by how smoothly everything was running. I ordered inside and did take out, so I can't comment on the drive through, but I waited less than 10 mins in line to use a self-order kiosk and then less than 10 mins to get my food. Even thought it was busy, all of the staff members were doing a great job and making sure everything was running efficiently. Came back today for lunch and it wasn't nearly as busy, but still had a decent amount of cars in the drive though. One of the workers said that it was an hour+ wait for drive through. I again ordered in and took my food to go, waited a little bit longer at each step because they only had one self-order kiosk open and two manned registers. The food is the same as any Shake Shack I've been to (Chicago and NYC). If you've never had it, I'd say it's a step up from Five Guys. More on the expensive side, but the ingredients are fresher than other chains. I get the standard Shack Burger with crispy onion strings added on. I've tried all three of the season milkshakes and honestly, they were just okay. I think I prefer the standard chocolate over the fancier ones.

If you have never been to Shake Shack you should go at least once. It's a NYC based business and they have a few here on the freeway and in Chicago. Here's the deal they JUST OPENED today 7/9/24 To be frank I had thought I could just pull in off of Clay Road today I get it it was not happening. Sure it was annoying but minor. I saw that someone wrote about that in a one star review. They need to chill. They have plenty of parking, drive thru and yes they will have an app soon so you can order from that. For the short term (maybe just opening day) it was order at the kiosk. They have people to help if you are not sure. When you finish your transaction you put your name and cell number, than get a number type it in than pay and sit down. You can do to go or eat in. The inside is light and bright. Tables are of a light blonde color, black accents and green as well. Staff considering all the people who showed up are friendly and helpful. I don't doubt they poached seasoned fast food workers and I'm sure they pay better. Lots you can order. I got us a Shack Burger, it's got tomato, cheese. Shake sauce lettuce on a toasted potato bun. The burger is really delicious if you love In-n-Out you will like this. Fries are crinkle cut and they warm up beautifully in the microwave for 30 seconds just a tip. They are also known for their shakes, any of them are tasty and if they have a special one give it a whirl. The chocolate ones are tasty and not too sweet. Now if you are hoping that this meal.. 2 Shack Burgers 2 Fries 2 Chocolate Shakes Would cost you about $20-25 no It was $40, but before you moan the product is delicious and everything is fresh. Yes it's a bit pricey but it's worth it every so often and yes they have food to suit everyone. All in all it's worth a visit they have inside and outside seating a plus. Welcome to the neighborhood I give them a 4.5/5

Remade shake with considerably less, at least the cup was clean this time. Maybe wash the strawberry off the machine

Ordered a simple chocolate shake, to go. Inside of cup was dirty with some red globule. They'll shake was filled to the top which is a positive. They remade it but then gave me a considerably smaller shake not at all near full like the first one. Cleanliness is a problem as well. Plus it's pretty bold to request a tip on a To Go Shake.

Always happy to come to Shake Shack! My first time having Shake Shack was in Seattle and since then they have stolen my heart in the fast food chain haha. If you choose Mckietrees, BBKing, or Wendy's over them......‍‍ Anyways lol, the burgers are good, fries are great, employees are nice, they have indoor and outdoor seating, and the vibe is always chill. Also, they are in a prime location so yeah definitely come try them out if you haven't had them.

Welp let me drop the review for this place. The employees are super nice but the food is horrible. Ive never seen the quality or amount of food this poor at any Shake Shack. My chocolate milkshake was liquid and warm upon them handing it to me. The chicken breast on the shake sandwich was so flat and the bread was ice cold as if it came out of the freezer and slapped on the sandwich (no lie). To top it off they forget the buttermilk sauce on the side again and said they ran out. And the fry amount was abysmal compared to any other location.

First time in and probably last time. This is a fast food place overpriced and mid food. The flavors are ok but burgers are greasy and underwhelming. What got me was at 12:30pm a very busy time of the day they were directing everyone to go to the kiosks to ring themselves up instead of greeting customers and welcoming them to order with the cashier who had no line. Several customers looked confused on how to order and the manager in plaid just stood there with his arms crossed. They were annoyed I paid with a card and went to the register. No customer service. Just totally unimpressed. One plus was that the restaurant was busy and clean.

Was one of the first in line...got a free cup

Worth the hype!!!! My most favorite thing is the burger with deep fried mushroom on it, called a shack stack....holy moly I don't think I've ever tasted a better Burger. The deep fried mushroom has cheese inside of it. *Drool* the bacon cheese fries were also very good...loaded with cheese. Not sure what kind of cheese but it's definitely not a cheap cheese sauce. I got there about an hour before opening and I will say everyone was very nice..had some good conversations with others that were waiting in line. They had extra workers for this day...everyone was polite, professional, and organized. I was actually surprised at how organized it was. When you walk in, you place your order on a kiosk screen, and you pay right then and there. Then you take an order number card, and place your order number when you finalize the order...then you can stand or sit down...they bring your order to you..even if it's a takeout order. The music was blasting...good tunes .. I'm impressed. For 6 burgers and 3 orders of cheese fries, 86 bucks. Expensive but worth it.

How much ketchup do you think I need? Maybe give me some napkins instead?

It's a family owned business run by a husband-and-wife team. When we visited, we met the husband, who was there with an employee he seemed to be training both very friendly and welcoming. We actually found out about this place through Instagram and a local news feature, so naturally, we had to check it out. It's tucked away toward the quieter end of Park Avenue, which makes it feel even more like a hidden gem. We stopped by on a warm October weekend. I initially thought all the ice cream was house-made but turns out it's Perry's. Not a deal-breaker, but a little "meh" moment. That said, they were actually making some fresh ice cream during our visit, and the owner even brought us a sample and it was delicious! I ordered a banana split, which was made just as expected. Since it was the employee's first time making one, I didn't fuss though part of me was hoping for a few more bells and whistles (maybe I'm just spoiled by Margie's Candies back in Chicago). It could've been prettier, but it still hit the spot. Overall, the ice cream was tasty, prices were fair, and the vibe was lovely. I do wonder how they'll do during the colder months maybe a collaboration with a local small-batch ice cream maker would be fun? Street parking available. Give them a whirl 4.5 outta 5!

Today we decided to get our favorite ice cream because we were having a tough day and thought it would be nice to treat ourselves. Usually, the strawberry sensation is paired with Tahitian vanilla. Unfortunately, I didn't notice that it had been replaced with raspberry. I realized after I had already poured it because the color looked different. I thought, "Well, it's too late now, let me try it," but unfortunately I didn't like the combination. I went to the front and spoke to the gentleman who said he was the owner. I calmly explained what happened and asked what I should do. Without hesitation, and with a very unpleasant look on his face, he replied, "What do you want me to do about it?" I again explained that I had simply overlooked the flavor change, but he rudely responded that it was "right there" and continued by saying, "We don't waste food around here." At that point, I decided to walk away and remove myself from the situation. I dumped the ice cream because I wasn't going to pay for something that was an honest mistake and that I didn't enjoy. When we finished and went to check out with a very kind young employee, the owner came out from the back, saw the ice cream I had dumped, and attempted to charge me for it. I politely replied that I would not be paying for that. His response was simply that we could leave. I have never had an issue like this at the Webster location. This owner should consider taking a class on customer service or even anger management. There were many ways this situation could have been handled calmly and respectfully, but instead it was met with unnecessary hostility. It was a very bad look for what is supposed to be a "family business."
