    Meaty steak and shrimp sub.
    Jasmine S.

The shrimp and steak sub is the best I have ever had. "PERIODT!" The plain fries leave a bit more to be desired. They tend to be sparse, not crispy and a little oily. The Zai fries and other specialty fries are perfection so I am not sure what the issue is with the plain fries. The milkshakes are also yummy. Zoc is so friendly and funny when you come in and order. I hope he continues to get more recognition. This is one small business that I will continue to support.

    Zoc's amazing Cobb Burger

Don't call it fast food. This is gourmet food. It's not that Zoc knows how to cook. Clearly, he does. It's that he is passionate about what he does, about what he creates, and about the smiles he puts on his customers' faces when they sink their teeth into every masterpiece of his. Zoc is an artist with great attention to detail, from the Russian dressing in just the right amount he puts on the Cobb Burger, to the thick slabs of smoky bacon, cooked to perfection, that intentionally overextend the crispy edges of the lightly toasted hard roll. Not only is the food absolutely incredible at Zoc's, the wait staff is super friendly, the dining area is nicely kept, and there are games like cards and Connect Four you can play while Zoc does his thing---a really nice touch. We played Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots while we waited. Thank you, Zoc and staff, for an outstanding dining experience! I will be back for sure!

Read a review from the D&C about Zoc's Gourmet Burgers and had to come check it out. I love to support a local mom and pop! The menu of unique burgers makes it hard to choose but I love spinach artichoke dip so I knew this would have to be the one. It did not disappoint the burger blended well with the spin/art along with garlic aioli. Burgers are cooked to your preference mine was a little more pink than I desired but it was so good I pretended I didn't see it. Nice selection of bacon for the non pork eaters, this is hard to find and greatly appreciated. We will definitely make it back to try some more burgers and fries!

The absolute best burger we've had in Rochester. The ingredients were fresh and cooked to perfection. I'm so glad Zoc's is only 10 minutes from my house! Cobb Burger = The. Best. Just do it. I'm pretty sure I'll be craving bacon and hard-boiled eggs on my burgers forever. Bacon Burger = Best served with meat sauce on top, according to my husband. Fries = Perfectly seasoned and hot out of the fryer. The actual Zoc's location is awesome. Low-key, a few tables with games on them, music playing, and pictures of the food on the walls. You can watch Zoc cook from any table. Parking is simple on the street in front of the building. We'll definitely be back for more!!!

Half chicken cheesesteak with sweet potato fries

This is my third time eating here...finally getting around to writing a review. I love it. Service is great! I had half a chicken cheesesteak. It comes with peppers, onions, mozzarella and house sauce. It was amazing. I also enjoyed the sweet potato fries but if you're not a sweet potato fan go with the seasoned fries. The other times I came I had Florentine burger. They make their own spinach dip in house for the burger and it's amazing. Everything was A1. If you haven't tried Zoc's you're missing out.

I decided to try them out for lunch. Co-workers and I order off grubhub which was well worth the wait I ordered shrimp and steak sub with sweet potato fries and it was mouthwatering prices are very reasonable I will definitely go back to check out the ambiance definitely a nice spot for comfort food

Very cool location in a remodeled house off Chili Ave. - there's games at every table, an Xbox, and Netflix was playing when we walked in (The Office, so my immediate impression was 'ok this place is cool'). The menu prices all seemed reasonable. A sm side of Cajun fries were only $1.50 and the portion was worth it. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, and added lettuce, tomato, and aoli. Toppings are priced in tiers- basic ones are free and then an up-charge for premium. My friend has a grilled cheese with fries as well. The staff were super friendly and the atmosphere was casual. We were both satisfied with our meals, and though we were too full to try the milkshakes at that time, that's on my list for my next visit!

I had been…read moregetting emails for a while, and I finally decided to try them out to help support my intermittent fasting regime. I was looking for more plant-based proteins and foods that would fill me up so I'm not quite as hungry when fasting. I really do enjoy this service. The quality of the food is very good. I love that there is a variety of meal options, and these are rotated in and out at a good rate. I think I've only had one or two repeat meals in the month I've been purchasing. I am not a vegan, but I do like to eat primarily plant-based and the recipes the chef comes up with are quite ingenious. They sound very interesting and have a lot of cultural influences. I particularly like the asian inspired meals, noodle bowls, Indian... last week there was a Moroccan Bean stew, and it looked so good, I let my dad have it because he wanted to try out a meal. I prefer to pick up my order each week. They have a nice curbside pickup system working right now. You can get food delivered for a fee to the Rochester and Buffalo areas. I prefer to save a few dollars and I have made it a part of my Sunday routine that's focused on me. There is only one drawback. Meals come to you in plastic take out containers. They are very durable and great for taking to work. But I wish these could somehow be more environmentally friendly. I do recycle, but I worry it's not enough. If you feel pressed for time in your week and would like to have really tasty, healthy, flavorful meals this is a great option. At $12.00 per meal, it is somewhat expensive, but at the same time maybe it's not given that food prices at grocery stores have gone up. It isn't a frozen Healthy Choice bowl, and you are getting your money's worth in terms of portion size, food quality and nutritional value.

I am an infantile vegan (only 5 months) and lasagna was a meal I was going to miss. Also I have found myself eating a lot of processed vegan foods due to convenience and sweet pea offered a solution to my *problems*. I ordered lasagna, butternut squash soup, muffins, and tikka masala. The muffins were amazing and moist and not chewy like a lot of vegan baked goods. The cauliflower bechamel in the lasagna was also noteworthy. But fast forward to the tikka masala- Wow! The price was right as the portions lasted me all week and saved me so much time. Also the nutrition information is provided and you can pronounce all the ingredients and the calories are reasonable. Also happy with the protein content of all these items! One recommendation would be- I personally added salt to the dishes. I find this common with vegan food though and appreciate that people can salt to taste. All of this, and the meals were dropped off at my door ready to be microwaved. I highly recommend even if not a vegan just a healthy option for those nights you can't or don't want to cook. Also to the other review that this place was pricey and packaging was not eco friendly- do you know that offering eco friendly packaging would subsequently increase costs even more? Unfortunately you can't have it all, at least without paying for it.

Recently having gone back to a Plant-Based lifestyle, I was craving a good pizza yesterday. I placed my order online for future pickup, then arrived a few minutes early to pick it up. My order was ready at a reasonable time, but the only slightly bothersome part of the (very short) wait was the fact that they were playing death metal in the background...not my cup of tea, but each to their own. I received my order, which was still piping hot when I arrived home. The Snapcase Pizza was great, a sauce base of Buffalo and Boss sauce mixed, topped with Chick'n and Vegan Cheese. Perfectly cooked crust, and just the right amount of topping. The House-Made Vegan Mozzarella Stix were surprisingly good! Cheezy with a stretch, and a nice crispy breading. The May-Wah wings I ordered with the same sauce blend as the pizza, Buffalo and Boss sauce mixed. They were good, but slightly mushy. I also wish they came with more than two celery sticks! The dipping sauce was really good too! Next time I think I'll try the Jackfruit wings. Anyway, I had a great dinner thanks to New Ethic, and will definitely be returning soon! Highly recommended!

The dipping sauce was quite spicy, and even with that they tasted pretty bland. No discernible herbs in the rolls at all, just some tofu, carrot, & lettuce. For my entree I got a vegan banh mi. It came out warm and the baguette was crunchy, if a bit dense. Again, very little fresh veg on it which is usually the highlight of a banh mi. There was a few pieces of iceburg lettuce (unheard of on a banh mi!) and one or two sprigs of cilantro, along with the same sauce from the fresh spring rolls.
