Whenever I have time I'll grab a baked potato and pour their chili on top, then I'll add the sour cream that came with the potato to the chile that's still left in the bowl. The dining room at this location is never open. Literally never--not at any hour of any day of the week. At first I thought this might be because of staffing shortages but I've come here on several occasions and seen multiple staff working while the dining room remains closed. This isn't communicated to customers using the app because they still allow individuals to place orders for pick up inside. This is the Wendy's I usually go to (considering it's the closet one around), and is usually very dependable; it is a very well-kept restaurant and has even been remodeled recently. Today, however, I ordered 10-piece chicken nuggets, and to my absolute horror, received only 9. I was disappointed, to say the least, as I fully expected my order to be exactly what I asked for. I was robbed of my precious chicken nugget, one I'll never be able to eat. The other 9 were delicious, but I couldn't stop thinking about the one that could never be. In today's case, the experience was great! The reason I went to Wendy's was for a field trip with the special needs program at the elementary school I work at. This Wendy's location was extremely understanding and accommodating of our loud, hyper kids. Also, the manager on duty was a sweet man who knew sign language really well and was excited to have me a customer (as well as the kids, he wanted to learn more about them and what we do). I'd come back. Just a warning: Wendy's version of a veggie burger is giving you a hamburger with all the fixings and no kind of meat at all. Not even the veggie patty. Tonight was no different and I figured I should applaud the staff for it, so I hope the manager sees this! My order is always "special" and can be confusing (I like cheese, my partner does not; we often flip condiments; etc). My order has always been accurate, something I usually don't get at most fast food places. The staff is always friendly and professional. Tonight, JoJo took our drive thru order. She was friendly, smiled, genuinely thanked me for coming after the transaction, and ensured my order was correct. She was not "fake" or overly friendly, but retained a professional demeanor. As a former GM of a restaurant myself, she was everything I would want in an employee working in customer service. If coming late, you may have to wait for a while as they say they are making everything fresh. But the wait is worth it for the quality and friendly professional service. They sometimes don't give you fresh fries even when you ask them for no salt. Just make sure you double check your bag and receipt when you get your meal. This location is horrible!! I have tried this specific location about 2 or 3 other times and every time it has been bad. I just went there this past Monday, 11/1/10 around 3p. The girl working the drive-thru gave me incorrect change and when I told her (money I gave her still in her hand) she proceeded to give me the correct change but didn't bother to even look in my direction while handing it to me. She just stuck her hand out the window with dollars in her hand. What happen to customer service? As I'm pulling away I asked my b-friend to check the order and I was missing 1 of 2 orders of chicken nuggets. I backed up to the window and informed the girl that I was missing food and her repsonse was, "It's gonna be a wait. Do you still want them?' I looked at her confused because...I had already paid for them. I pull in a spot to wait about 5 minutes and no one came out. I then went into the location and had to wait at the counter for assistance when I was the only person at the counter. I got my food and realized when I got home that they put the wrong ingredients on my b-friend's sandwich and I had no sauce for my chicken nuggets. I will drive out of my way to go to another Wendy's or not go at all. This location has terrible service and at 3p in the afternoon I expect to have decent service since there is no lunch rush. Great customer service, I live right down the street, they did mess up one sandwich I order but when I called, Lisa was so kind and understanding and offered to make a whole new order if I wanted to stop by if not she said she could mail me a coupon.
