If you're looking for a no frills burger joint and just want a good ole burger with fresh cut fries, Sandlot is the place for you. Don't expect fancy dining and instagrammable views. Just expect good food, fast. Their menu is simple: burgers, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, fries, pop, and milkshakes. The burgers come in either a single, double, or triple stack, with cheese. I got the cheeseburger and hubby got the two on two (double stack) and we were satisfied with the burgers. It was simple, juicy, grilled and good. The whole family loved the fries. Service was pretty fast, we got ours in less than 10 minutes. Dining tables are available inside to eat, and also a few tables outside in the parking lot if you prefer the outdoors. If you are familiar with the movie The Sandlot, they have their pictures all over the walls. Not sure if they are directly affiliated with the movie, but it definitely brings back that nostalgia. Overall, great burger joint and I would come back again!

The place is an ode to the classic movie The Sandlot. I order the TWO N TWO burger and a Chicago style hotdog from a really nice young lady that greeted me at the front counter. The food is made to order so it takes longer than most places which is fine, but that particular day, I was in a rush. It took almost 20 minutes to get my meal. No tap pay is an available so have your card or cash on you. Found out that a lady had a HUGE order that slowed the kitchen down. I received my food and wanted to sit outside, but all the outdoor table hasn't been wiped down in a while. Anyway, I started with the burger which was juicy and all the toppings were fresh. This is a me thing. The cheese really took over the burger and I couldn't really get flavor of the patties. The hot dogs had all the Chicago style toppings and looked delicious but the bun was steamed and was kind of chewy. The fresh cut fries just need more salt. The overall meal was good, not great. I would definitely get a double without cheese next time.

The Sandlot is amazing! I had it for lunch today for the first time. It looks like a small hole in the wall lunch joint, but don't pass it up when you see it. I only tried the burgers, but wow were they amazing! They're made fresh to order, the special sauce is also great - I like it on the side but you can get it on your burger as well. Friendly and quick service, and free refills on soft drinks. Definitely worth checking out.

The lot and interior of the restaurant made me want to drive off and not order food but I went ahead anyways because of these yelp reviews. I'm easy to please when it comes to carry out especially burgers. My first experience was with a female who seemed to hate her job and it showed from the service I got. My only request was grilled onions and that didn't happen. The only positive about the whole experience was the fries they were actually really good. The burger was a huge let down from an establishment that has good yelp reviews and one would expect excellence in their limited menu. The two employees were Indian and were speaking that the whole time with 0 connection. I got one single lettuce leaf and one single tomato all soggy. The inside has a couple random pictures from the sandlot movie but really the whole vibe is off and not inviting. It's almost as if this restaurant started out awesome and was doing well and then was bought out and the service crashed.

No frills place, reminds me of an In N Out. I ordered the Double Double, er, I mean the Two-N-Two. In my hurry I neglected to order their fresh cut fries. Doh! I wouldn't be surprised if they have a secret menu with Animal Style. Prices are good, staff is friendly. Everything is made to order. The burger was delicious. Perfectly seasoned, fresh ground beef. Fiance's chocolate shake was freshly made and tasty too. I'll definitely be back for another burger, and I'll be sure to ask for fries. SECOND VISIT: Fantastic burger, fries were okay but slightly undercooked. I don't like floppy fries. Three stars for the fries, five for everything else.

1st impressions is the place is a slum lol buts actually very clean inside. Prices were more than listed online, but not by much. Place is freezing fyi (they're not fans of putting on the heat so wear your coat. Fries were super fresh and good! Double burger and hot dog was decent but had better. Service was polite tho which is nice

It's really cool that they have a golf simulator set up. I was greeted by Jennifer and she had a very upbeat attitude. She bought over the menu which also has Social 18 Greek Kitchen, which is more traditional Greek fare. I received my food and begun to dig in. The gyro meat was tender and I loved that it had chopped tomatoes so I can get some in every bite. I don't know if the tzatziki sauce was homemade, but the flavor of garlic and dill was good enough that I was dipping my fries into it. The fries were salted well and fresh prepared. This is where the unusual experience came in. As I was eating and scrolling FB and a news story came up with more detail of a friends passing. And I just started to cry, Jennifer came over to check in on me, while I was trying to hold myself together. She understood my situation and she bought me a to-go container and some napkins. She even offered a hug which I took her up on. People like her are rare. Thanks for a great lunch!

My food also came with a delicious Almost Famous butter cookie. It would have been awesome with a milkshake. They have milkshakes on the menu, but I didn't order one. In the meantime, I ordered a Hot Chick (medium heat), with a side of fries, some extra pickles, and the garlic sauce to make my Slavic heart happy. The food came out fresh from the bubbling oil, it could be handled without burns, but clearly spent no time under a lamp. Both the chicken and the fries were fried to a delectable crunch. No twice-fried-as-an-excuse here, genuinely well done. My only note is that it feels as though the fries and chicken *may* have spent an extra 15 seconds in the fryer. While the innards were tender, it felt as though a tinge of moisture was sacrificed without need. The fries were seasoned perfectly, and other than the usual delight of dipping them into everything on the plate, they were perfect as they were. Fantastic amount too, not the starch overload of Five Guys, but not a skimpy serving either. The chicken sandwich was the real star. The medium contained some proper spice without having smoke come out the ears. It was well sauced, and had a great hit of acid from the pickles. Out of left field came the slaw: I was not expecting to like this to the point of almost leaving it out. However, it was fresh, felt homemade, and wasn't a mayonnaise bomb. Would order the again without complaints or reservations. I also had a chance to try their house-made lemonade. I appreciate that they use zero-calorie sweetener to cut down on sugars. However, it came out too sweet for my liking. It would be helpful to have options of level and type of sweet. Final notes: The server behind the counter was very welcoming and friendly, and the food came out in a reasonable time frame considering how fresh everything was. Final verdict: A case where I say it's a good thing Nash Bros is a little bit of a hike, otherwise I might visit too much for my health. We got here about 30 minutes before closing time. The restaurant was somewhat busy w/ dine-in and carry-out orders. I ordered their original Nashville Hot fried chicken sandwich made Xtra Hot based on their heat level offerings (which was the highest heat level) and my wife ordered their Honey Butter fried chicken sandwich with mild heat level. I also got their House Fries that were seasoned crinkle cut fries. We asked for cups of water but were told that they were out of cups, so either buy water or can of pop. They did not have fountain drinks. The food came out shortly. My etra hot sandwich tray was tagged as 'Hot' w/ three symbols. I asked them if that meant the sandwich was just 'Hot' and not 'Xtra Hot' and I was told that if I ordered extra hot then it meant it was extra hot. My sandwich was really delicious. The flavor was good and the texture was nice. The Xtra Hot flavor was not overwhelming but also it did not seem like the extra hot they said I should be mindful of because it was going to be very spicy. My sandwich was decently crunchy and the pickles and coleslaw had a tad bit of sweetness that went well with the heat of the fried chicken. The Brioche bun was well toasted. The fried chicken patty was decent in size. The Honey Butter fried chicken was a major letdown. It's a sandwich in Brioche bun w/ fried chicken and only spicy honey butter (no pickles or slaw). The bun and the fried chicken were drenched in melted butter but there was no taste of sweet heat or just sweet honey. The fried chicken patty didn't have any flavor either. We mentioned it to the staff members and they apologized for the way it turned out for us. The crinkle cut fries were okay. They were soft and unevenly seasoned. The seasoning was decent in taste. Overall, we had a decent experience. The service was okay. My original Nashville hot chicken was delicious but the Honey Butter chicken sandwich was anything but delicious. The restaurant aesthetics were decent. They have a live band performance area. It's a nice, friendly restaurant with a decent menu variety. We weren't wowed by the food but I would say that the original Nashville Hot fried chicken sandwich was worth trying.
